(இந்த நபியின் வரவை எதிர்பார்த்தவர்களில்) வேதத்தையுடையோர்களிலும், இணைவைத்துக் கொண்டிருப்போரிலும், நிச்சயமாக (இவரை) நிராகரிக்கின்றார்களே அத்தகையோர், நரக நெருப்பில்தான் இருப்பார்கள்; அதில் (அவர்கள்) நிரந்தரமாக (த்தங்கி) இருப்பவர்கள்; அத்தகையோர்தாம் படைப்புகளில் மிகக் கெட்டவர்கள்.

Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islâm, the Qur’ân and Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikûn will abide in the Fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures.¹

   It is obligatory to have Belief in the Messengership of the Prophet (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم). Narrated Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه: Allâh’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "By Him (Allâh) in Whose Hand Muhammad’s soul is, there is none from amongst the Jews and Christians (of these present nations) who hears about me and then dies without believing in the Message with which I have been sent (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism) but he will be from the dwellers of the (Hell) Fire." நிச்சயமாக விசுவாசங்கொண்டு நற்செயல்களையும் செய்கின்றார்களே அத்தகையோர்தாம் படைப்புகளில் மிகச் சிறந்தவர்கள்.

Verily, those who believe [in the Oneness of Allâh, and in His Messenger Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) including all obligations ordered by Islâm] and do righteous good deeds, they are the best of creatures.

அவர்களுடைய (நற்)கூலி அவர்களின் இரட்சகனிடம் (அத்னு எனும்) நிலையான சுவனங்களாகும்; அவற்றின் கீழ் ஆறுகள் ஓடிக்கொண்டிருக்கும்; என்றென்றும் (அவர்கள்) அவற்றில் நிரந்தரமாக(த் தங்கி) இருப்பவர்கள்; அல்லாஹ்வும் அவர்களைப் பொருந்திக்கொண்டான்; அவர்களும் அல்லாஹ்வைப் பொருந்திக் கொண்டார்கள். அது, எவர் தன் இரட்சகனுக்குப் பயப்படுகிறாரோ, அவருக்குரியதாகும்.

Their reward with their Lord is ‘Adn (Eden) Paradise (Gardens of Eternity), underneath which rivers flow. They will abide therein forever, Allâh will be pleased with them, and they with Him. That is for him who fears his Lord.

பூமியானது (அதன் அடிப்பாகத்திலிருந்து) கடுமையான அசைவாக அசைக்கப்பட்டுவிடும்போது-

When the earth is shaken with its (final) earthquake.

இன்னும், பூமி, தனது சுமைகளை (எல்லாம்) வெளிப்படுத்திவிடும்போது,

And when the earth throws out its burdens.

இன்னும் மனிதன், (திடுக்கிட்டு) “இதற்கென்ன நேர்ந்தது?” என்று கூறிவிடும்போது,

And man will say: "What is the matter with it?"

அந்நாளில் (பூமியான) அது தனது செய்திகளை (மனிதர்களுக்கு) அறிவிக்கும்-

That Day it will declare its information (about all that happened over it of good or evil).

நிச்சயமாக உமதிரட்சகன் (இவ்வாறு அறிவிக்குமாறு) அதற்கு (க்கட்டளையிட்டு) வஹீமூலம் அறிவித்ததன் காரணமாக!

Because your Lord will inspire it.

(அவ்வாறு பூமி அசைக்கப்பட்டு அதன் வயிற்றினுள் உள்ளதை வெளியாக்கிவிடும்) அந்நாளில் மனிதர்கள்,அவர்களின் செயல்கள் (அவர்களுக்குக்) காண்பிக்கப்படுவதற்காக பல பிரிவினர்களாக(மண்ணறைகளிலிருந்து) புறப்பட்டு வருவார்கள்.

That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds.¹

எனவே, எவர் ஓர் அணுவளவு நன்மையைச் செய்தாரோ அவர் (மறுமையில்) அத(ன்பய)னைக் கண்டு கொள்வார்.

So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant) shall see it.

இன்னும், எவர் ஓர் அணுவளவு தீமையைச் செய்தாரோ அவர் (மறுமையில்) அத(ன் கேடி)னைக் கண்டு கொள்வார்.

And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant) shall see it.

மூச்சிரைக்கும் சப்தத்தோடு (போர்க்களத்தில் எதிரிகளைத்தாக்க) அதிவேகமாக ஓடுகின்றவற்றின் (குதிரைகளின்) மீது சத்தியமாக!

By the (steeds) that run, with panting.

பின்னர், (செல்லும் வேகத்தில் அவற்றின் குளம்புகள் கற்களில் மோத) தீப்பொறியை பறக்கச் செய்பவற்றின் மீதும் சத்தியமாக!

Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves).

பிறகு, அதிகாலையில் வேகமாக (எதிரிகள் மீது) பாய்ந்து செல்பவற்றின் மீதும் சத்தியமாக!

And scouring to the raid at dawn.

(அதிகாலையில் அவ்வாறு அதி வேகமாகச் செல்லும்போது) அதனால் புழுதியை கிளப்புகின்றவற்றின் மீதும் சத்தியமாக!

And raise the dust in clouds the while.

பின்னர் (எதிரிகளின்) படைகளுக்கு மத்தியில் செல்கின்றவற்றின் மீதும் சத்தியமாக!

And penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe).
