وَكَيْفَ أَخَافُ مَآ أَشْرَكْتُمْ وَلَا تَخَافُونَ أَنَّكُمْ أَشْرَكْتُم بِٱللَّهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهِۦ عَلَيْكُمْ سُلْطَـٰنًا ۚ فَأَىُّ ٱلْفَرِيقَيْنِ أَحَقُّ بِٱلْأَمْنِ ۖ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
மேலும், “உங்களுக்கு யாதோர் அத்தாட்சியும் அவன் இறக்கி வைக்காமலிருந்தும் நிச்சயமாக நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு இணை வைத்திருப்பதைப்பற்றி (ஒரு சிறிதும்) நீங்கள் பயப்படாதவர்களாக இருக்க, நீங்கள் இணை வைத்தவைகளுக்கு நான் எவ்வாறு பயப்படுவேன்? (நம்) இருபிரிவினரில் அச்சமற்றிருக்க மிகத் தகுதியுடையோர் யார் என்பதை நீங்கள் அறிந்தவர்களாயிருந்தால்” (கூறுங்கள் என்றும் கூறினார்.)
"And how should I fear those whom you associate in worship with Allâh (though they can neither benefit nor harm), while you fear not that you have joined in worship with Allâh things for which He has not sent down to you any authority. (So) which of the two parties has more right to be in security? If you but know."
ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَلَمْ يَلْبِسُوٓا۟ إِيمَـٰنَهُم بِظُلْمٍ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمُ ٱلْأَمْنُ وَهُم مُّهْتَدُونَ
விசுவாசங்கொண்டு, பின்னர் தங்களுடைய ஈமானை இணை வைத்தல் எனும்) அநீதத்தைக்கொண்டு கலந்து விடவில்லையே அத்தகையோர் - அவர்களுக்கே அபயமுண்டு, அவர்களே நேர்வழி பெற்றவர்கள்.
It is those who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh and worship none but Him Alone) and confuse not their belief with Zulm (wrong i.e. by worshipping others besides Allâh), for them (only) there is security and they are the guided.1

وَتِلْكَ حُجَّتُنَآ ءَاتَيْنَـٰهَآ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ ۚ نَرْفَعُ دَرَجَـٰتٍ مَّن نَّشَآءُ ۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ
இன்னும், (மேற் கூறப்பட்ட) அவை நம்முடைய அத்தாட்சிகளாகும், இப்ராஹீம் தன் சமூகத்தார்க்கெதிராக (வெற்றி கொள்வதற்காக) நாம் அவைகளை அவருக்குக் (கற்றுக்) கொடுத்தோம், நாம் நாடுவோரின் பதவிகளை நாம் உயர்த்துவோம், (நபியே!) நிச்சயமாக உம்முடைய இரட்சகன் மிக தீர்க்கமான அறிவுடையவன், நன்கறிகிறவன்.
And that was Our Proof which We gave Ibrâhîm (Abraham) against his people. We raise whom We will in degrees. Certainly your Lord is All-Wise, All-Knowing.
وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُۥٓ إِسْحَـٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ ۚ كُلًّا هَدَيْنَا ۚ وَنُوحًا هَدَيْنَا مِن قَبْلُ ۖ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِهِۦ دَاوُۥدَ وَسُلَيْمَـٰنَ وَأَيُّوبَ وَيُوسُفَ وَمُوسَىٰ وَهَـٰرُونَ ۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
இன்னும், நாம் (இப்றாஹீமாகிய) அவருக்கு இஸ்ஹாக்கையும், (அவருடைய குமாரர்) யஃகூபையும் வெகுமதியாக வழங்கினோம், இவர்கள் ஒவ்வொருவரையும் நாம் நேர்வழியில் செலுத்தினோம், (இதற்கு) முன்னர் நூஹையும் அவருடைய சந்ததியிலிருந்து தாவூதையும், ஸூலைமானையும், அய்யூபையும், யூஸூபையும் மூஸாவையும், ஹாருனையும் நாம் நேரான வழியில் செலுத்தினோம், நன்மை செய்வோருக்கு இவ்வாறே நாம் (நற்)கூலி வழங்குகின்றோம்.
And We bestowed upon him Ishâq (Isaac) and Ya‘qûb (Jacob), each of them We guided, and before him, We guided Nûh (Noah), and among his progeny Dâwûd (David), Sulaimân (Solomon), Ayyûb (Job), Yûsuf (Joseph), Mûsâ (Moses), and Hârûn (Aaron). Thus do We reward Al-Muhsinûn (the good-doers - see the footnote of V.9: 120).
وَزَكَرِيَّا وَيَحْيَىٰ وَعِيسَىٰ وَإِلْيَاسَ ۖ كُلٌّ مِّنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ
ஜகரிய்யாவையும், யஹ்யாவையும், ஈஸாவையும், இல்யாஸையும் (நேரான வழியில் செலுத்தினோம்) இவர்களில் ஒவ்வொருவரும் நல்லவர்களில் உள்ளவராவர்.
And Zakariyâ (Zachariya), and Yahya (John) and ‘Îsâ (Jesus) and Iliyâs (Elias), each one of them was of the righteous.
وَإِسْمَـٰعِيلَ وَٱلْيَسَعَ وَيُونُسَ وَلُوطًا ۚ وَكُلًّا فَضَّلْنَا عَلَى ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
இஸ்மாயீலையும், அல்யஸஉவையும், யூனுஸையும், லூத்தையும் (நேர் வழியில் செலுத்தி இவர்களில்) ஒவ்வொருவரையும் அகிலத்தாரை விட மேன்மையாக்கியும் வைத்தோம்.
And Ismâ‘îl (Ishmael) and Al-Yasa‘ (Elisha), and Yûnus (Jonah) and Lût (Lot), and each one of them We preferred above the ‘Âlamîn [mankind and jinn (of their times)].
وَمِنْ ءَابَآئِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّـٰتِهِمْ وَإِخْوَٰنِهِمْ ۖ وَٱجْتَبَيْنَـٰهُمْ وَهَدَيْنَـٰهُمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
இவர்களுடைய மூதாதையர்களிலிருந்தும், இவர்களுடைய சந்ததிகளிலிருந்தும், இவர்களுடைய சகோதரர்களிலிருந்தும் (பலரை மேன்மையாக்கி வைத்ததுடன்) அவர்களை நாம் தேர்ந்தெடுத்து நேரான வழியின்பாலும் அவர்களை நாம் செலுத்தினோம்.
And also some of their fathers and their progeny and their brethren, We chose them, and We guided them to the Straight Path.
ذَٰلِكَ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ يَهْدِى بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ ۚ وَلَوْ أَشْرَكُوا۟ لَحَبِطَ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ
(இவர்கள் யாவரும் சென்ற) அதுவே அல்லாஹ்வடைய நேர் வழியாகும், தன் அடியார்களில் அவன் நாடுகிறவருக்கு இதன் மூலம் நேர் வழிகாட்டுகிறான், இன்னும், அவர்கள் (அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு இணை வைத்திருந்தால் அவர்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருந்த (நன்மையான)வைகள் (யாவும்), அவர்களை விட்டு அழிந்துவிடும்.
This is the Guidance of Allâh with which He guides whomsoever He wills of His slaves. But if they had joined in worship others with Allâh, all that they used to do would have been of no benefit to them.
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ وَٱلْحُكْمَ وَٱلنُّبُوَّةَ ۚ فَإِن يَكْفُرْ بِهَا هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ فَقَدْ وَكَّلْنَا بِهَا قَوْمًا لَّيْسُوا۟ بِهَا بِكَـٰفِرِينَ
அவர்கள் எத்தகையோரென்றால், அவர்களுக்கு, வேதத்தையும் (மார்க்க) சட்டத்தையும், நபித்துவத்தையும் நாம் கொடுத்திருந்தோம், ஆகவே, அவைகளை (மக்காவாசிகளாகிய) இவர்கள் நிராகரித்து விடுவார்களாயின் (இவர்களுக்குப் பதிலாக) அவைகளை நிராகரிக்காதவர்களான (அல்லாஹ்வுக்குக் கீழப்படிந்து நடக்கும் முஸ்லீம்களாகிய) ஒரு கூட்டத்தினரை, திட்டமாக நாம் அதற்கு பொறுப்பாக்கி (ஏற்படுத்தி விடுவோம்.)
They are those whom We gave the Book, Al-Hukm (understanding of the religious laws), and Prophethood. But if these disbelieve therein (the Book, Al-Hukm and Prophethood), then, indeed We have entrusted it to a people (such as the Companions of Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) who are not disbelievers therein.
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ هَدَى ٱللَّهُ ۖ فَبِهُدَىٰهُمُ ٱقْتَدِهْ ۗ قُل لَّآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا ۖ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرَىٰ لِلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
(பொறுப்பாக்கப்பட்ட) அவர்கள் எத்தகையோரென்றால், அல்லாஹ் (அவர்களை) நேர் வழியில் செலுத்தினான், ஆகவே, அவர்களுடைய நேர்வழியை நீரும் பின்பற்றுவீராக! இந்தக் குர் ஆனை உங்களுக்(கு அறிவிப்பதற்)காக, நான் உங்களிடம் யாதொரு கூலியைப் (பிரதிபலனை)யும் கேட்கவில்லை, (குர் ஆனாகிய) இது அகிலத்தார்க்கு நல்லுபதேசமே தவிர (வேறு இல்லை) என (நபியே) நீர் கூறுவீராக!
They are those whom Allâh had guided. So follow their guidance. Say: "No reward I ask of you for this (the Qur’ân). It is only a reminder for the ‘Âlamîn (mankind and jinn)."
وَمَا قَدَرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِۦٓ إِذْ قَالُوا۟ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ بَشَرٍ مِّن شَىْءٍ ۗ قُلْ مَنْ أَنزَلَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ ٱلَّذِى جَآءَ بِهِۦ مُوسَىٰ نُورًا وَهُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ ۖ تَجْعَلُونَهُۥ قَرَاطِيسَ تُبْدُونَهَا وَتُخْفُونَ كَثِيرًا ۖ وَعُلِّمْتُم مَّا لَمْ تَعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنتُمْ وَلَآ ءَابَآؤُكُمْ ۖ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ ۖ ثُمَّ ذَرْهُمْ فِى خَوْضِهِمْ يَلْعَبُونَ
மேலும், அல்லாஹ் எந்த மனிதனின் மீதும் எதையும் இறக்கி வைக்கவில்லை என்று அவர்கள் கூறிய பொழுது அல்லாஹ்வை அவனுக்குரிய தகுதிக்குத் தக்கவாறு அவர்கள் மதிக்கவில்லை, (ஆகவே, நபியே! அவர்களிடம்) நீர் கேட்பீராக! “பிரகாசமானதாகவும், மனிதர்களுக்கு நேர் வழி காட்டக்கூடியதாகவும் (உள்ள) மூஸா கொண்டு வந்த (‘தவ்றாத்’ என்னும் வேதத்தை இறக்கியவன் யார்? நீங்கள் அ(வ்வேதத்)தைத் தனித்தனி ஏடுகளாகப் பிரித்து (அவற்றில் சிலவற்றை) வெளிப்படுத்துகிறீர்கள், உங்கள் நோக்கத்திற்கு மாறான பெரும்பாலானவற்றை நீங்கள் மறைத்தும் விடுகிறீர்கள், (அதன் மூலமாகவே) நீங்களும், உங்கள் மூதாதையர்களும் அறியாமலிருந்தவைகளை நீங்கள் கற்பிக்கப்பட்டீர்கள், (ஆகவே, இத்தகைய வேதத்தை உங்களுக்கு அருளியது யார்? என நீரே அவர்களிடம் கேட்டுவிட்டு) அல்லாஹ்தான் (அதை இறக்கி வைத்தான்)” என்று கூறுவீராக! பின்னர் (வீண் விவாதத்தில்) அவர்கள் மூழ்கிக்கொண்டிருப்பதிலேயே அவர்கள் விளையாடிக் கொண்டிருக்குமாறு அவர்களை விட்டுவிடுவீராக!
They (the Jews, Quraish pagans, idolaters) did not estimate Allâh with an estimation due to Him when they said: "Nothing did Allâh send down to any human being (by revelation)." Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Who then sent down the Book which Mûsâ (Moses) brought, a light and a guidance to mankind which you (the Jews) have made into (separate) papersheets, disclosing (some of it) and concealing much. And you (believers in Allâh and His Messenger Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) were taught (through the Qur’ân) that which neither you nor your fathers knew." Say: "Allâh (sent it down)." Then leave them to play in their vain discussions. (Tafsir Al-Qurtubî).
وَهَـٰذَا كِتَـٰبٌ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ مُبَارَكٌ مُّصَدِّقُ ٱلَّذِى بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلِتُنذِرَ أُمَّ ٱلْقُرَىٰ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا ۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِۦ ۖ وَهُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ
மேலும், (நபியே!) இது ஒரு வேதமாகும், இதனை நாம் (உம்மீது இறக்கிவைத்தோம், (இதன் நன்மைகள் பன்மடங்காக்கப்பட்டதாக) பரகத்துச் செய்யப்பட்டதாகும், தனக்கு முன் உள்ள (வேதத்)தை உண்மையாக்கி வைக்கக்கூடியதாகும், (ஆகவே) நீர் (இதனைக் கொண்டு) உம்முல்குரா (-நகரங்களின் தாயாகிய மக்கா)வில் உள்ளவர்களையும், அதைச் சுற்றிலுமுள்ளவர்களையும் அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிக்கை செய்வதற்காகவும் (இவ்வேதத்தை உம்மீது இறக்கி வைத்தோம்), மேலும், மறுமையை நம்புகின்றார்களே அத்தகையோர்- அவர்கள் இவ்வேதத்தை (அவசியம்), விசுவாசிப்பார்கள், இன்னும் அவர்கள் தங்கள் தொழுகையைப் பேணுவார்கள்.
And this (the Qur’ân) is a blessed Book which We have sent down, confirming (the revelations) which came before it, so that you may warn the Mother of Towns (i.e. Makkah) and all those around it. Those who believe in the Hereafter believe in it (the Qur’ân), and they are constant in guarding their Salât (prayers).
وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفْتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ قَالَ أُوحِىَ إِلَىَّ وَلَمْ يُوحَ إِلَيْهِ شَىْءٌ وَمَن قَالَ سَأُنزِلُ مِثْلَ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ ۗ وَلَوْ تَرَىٰٓ إِذِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ فِى غَمَرَٰتِ ٱلْمَوْتِ وَٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ بَاسِطُوٓا۟ أَيْدِيهِمْ أَخْرِجُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَكُمُ ۖ ٱلْيَوْمَ تُجْزَوْنَ عَذَابَ ٱلْهُونِ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَقُولُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ غَيْرَ ٱلْحَقِّ وَكُنتُمْ عَنْ ءَايَـٰتِهِۦ تَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது பொய்யைக் கற்பனை செய்து கூறுபவனைவிட அல்லது வஹீ மூலம் அவனுக்கொன்றுமே அறிவிக்கப்படாமலிருக்க “எனக்கும் வஹீ அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது” என்று கூறுபவனை விட அல்லது “அல்லாஹ் இறக்கிய இவ்வேதத்)தைப் போல் நானும் இறக்குவேன்” என்று கூறுபவனை விட மிகப் பெரிய அநியாயக்காரான் யார்? இன்னும், இவ்வநியாயக்காரர்கள் மரண வேதனையிலிருக்கும் சமயத்தில் நீர் அவர்களைப் பார்ப்பீராயின், மலக்குகள் தங்கள் கைகளை நீட்டி (அவர்களிடம்) உங்களுடைய உயிர்களை வெளியேற்றுங்கள், நீங்கள் உண்மையல்லாததை அல்லாஹ்வின்மீது (பொய்யாகக்) கூறிக் கொண்டிருந்தாலும், இன்னும் அவனது வசனங்களை விட்டும் (அவற்றை ஏற்க மறுத்து) நீங்கள் பெருமையடித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தாலும் (அதற்குப் பகரமாக) இன்றையத்தினம் இழிவான வேதனையை நீங்கள் கொடுக்கப்படுகிறீர்கள் (என்று கூறுவதை நீர் காண்பீர்.)
And who can be more unjust than he who invents a lie against Allâh, or says: "A revelation has come to me" whereas no revelation has come to him in anything ; and who says, "I will reveal the like of what Allâh has revealed." And if you could but see when the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers) are in the agonies of death, while the angels are stretching forth their hands (saying): "Deliver your souls! This day you shall be recompensed with the torment of degradation because of what you used to utter against Allâh other than the truth. And you used to reject His Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) with disrespect!1"

"If you could but see when the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers) are in the agonies of death while the angels are stretching forth their hands (saying): "Deliver your souls. This day you shall be recompensed with the torment of degradation." (V.6:93)
And also the Statement of Allâh تعالى : "Twice shall We punish them and thereafter, they shall be brought back to a great (horrible) torment." (V.9:101).
And also the Statement of Allâh تعالى :
"While an evil torment encompassed Fir‘aun (Pharaoh)’s people; the Fire, they are exposed to it morning and afternoon, and on the Day when the Hour will be established (it will be said to the angels): ‘Cause Fir‘aun (Pharaoh)’s people to enter the severest torment.’" (V.40: 4546).
Narrated Al-Barâ’ bin ‘Âzib: The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, "When a faithful believer is made to sit in his grave, then (the angels) come to him and he testifies that Lâ ilâha illallâh wa Anna Muhammad-ur-Rasuûl Allâh (none has the right to be worshipped but Allâh and Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم is the Messenger of Allâh). And that corresponds to Allâh’s Statement: ‘Allâh will keep firm those who believe with the word that stands firm.’ (V.14:27)." (Sahih Al-Bukhâri, Vol.2, Hadîth No.450).
B. Narrated Anas رضي الله عنه: The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, "When a human being is laid in his grave and his companions return and he even hears their footsteps, two angels come to him and make him sit and ask him: ‘What did you use to say about this man, Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم ?’ He will say: ‘I testify that he is Allâh’s slave and His Messenger.’ Then it will be said to him, ‘Look at your place in the Hell-Fire. Allâh has changed for you a place in Paradise instead of it.’" The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم added, "The dead person will see both his places. But a disbeliever or a hypocrite will say to the angels, ‘I do not know, but I used to say what the people used to say!’ It will be said to him, ‘Neither did you know nor did you take the guidance (by following the Qur’ân).’ Then he will be hit with an iron hammer between his two ears, and he will cry and that cry will be heard by whatsoever is near to him except human beings and jinn." (Sahih Al-Bukhâri, Vol.2, Hadîth No.422)
وَلَقَدْ جِئْتُمُونَا فُرَٰدَىٰ كَمَا خَلَقْنَـٰكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَتَرَكْتُم مَّا خَوَّلْنَـٰكُمْ وَرَآءَ ظُهُورِكُمْ ۖ وَمَا نَرَىٰ مَعَكُمْ شُفَعَآءَكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ زَعَمْتُمْ أَنَّهُمْ فِيكُمْ شُرَكَـٰٓؤُا۟ ۚ لَقَد تَّقَطَّعَ بَيْنَكُمْ وَضَلَّ عَنكُم مَّا كُنتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ
அன்றியும் (அல்லாஹ் மறுமையில் அவர்களிடம்) “முதன் முறையாக நாம் உங்களைப் படைத்த பிரகாமே (உங்களுடன் ஒன்றுமில்லாது) நிச்சயமாக நீங்கள் தன்னந்தனியாக நம்மிடம் வந்து சேர்ந்து விட்டீர்கள், இன்னும், நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் உங்களில் இணையாளர்கள் என எண்ணிக் கொண்டிருந்தீர்களே, அத்தகைய உங்களுடைய பரிந்துரையாளர்களை உங்களுடன் நாம் காணவில்லை, உங்களுக்கிடையிலுள்ள (தொடர்புகளான)து திட்டமாக அறுந்தும் விட்டது, (உங்களுக்கு உதவியும் பரிந்துரையும் செய்வார்களென்று நீங்கள் கற்பனை செய்து கொண்டிருந்தீர்களே அவைகள் உங்களை விட்டு மறைந்தும் விட்டன” (என்று கூறுவான்.)
And truly you have come unto Us alone (without wealth, companions or anything else) as We created you the first time. You have left behind you all that which We had bestowed on you. We see not with you your intercessors whom you claimed to be partners with Allâh. Now all relations between you and them have been cut off, and all that you used to claim has vanished from you.
۞ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ فَالِقُ ٱلْحَبِّ وَٱلنَّوَىٰ ۖ يُخْرِجُ ٱلْحَىَّ مِنَ ٱلْمَيِّتِ وَمُخْرِجُ ٱلْمَيِّتِ مِنَ ٱلْحَىِّ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤْفَكُونَ
நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்தான் வித்துக்களையும் விதைகளையும் வெடி(த்து முளை)க்கச் செய்கின்றவன், இறந்ததிலிருந்து உயிருள்ளதை அவன் வெளிப்படுத்துகின்றான், உயிருள்ளதிலிருந்து இறந்ததையும் அவனே வெளிப்படுத்துகின்றவன், (இவ்வாறு செய்கின்ற) அவன்தான் (உங்கள்) அல்லாஹ், ஆகவே, நீங்கள் (அவனுக்கு வணக்க வழிபாடுகளைச் செய்வதிலிருந்து) எவ்வாறு திசை திருப்பப்படுகிறீர்கள்.
Verily! It is Allâh Who causes the seed-grain and the fruit-stone (like date-stone) to split and sprout. He brings forth the living from the dead, and it is He Who brings forth the dead from the living. Such is Allâh, then how are you deluded away from the truth?
فَالِقُ ٱلْإِصْبَاحِ وَجَعَلَ ٱلَّيْلَ سَكَنًا وَٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ حُسْبَانًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْعَلِيمِ
அவனே அதிகாலை நேர(வெளிச்ச)த்தை (இரவின் இருள்களிலிருந்து) வெடிக்கச் செய்கிறவன், அவனே (படைப்பினங்கள் அனைத்தும் களைப்பாறுவதற்காக) இரவை அமைதியானதாகவும் காலக்கணக்கிற்காகச் சூரியனையும் சந்திரனையும் ஆக்கினான், இவை யாவும் (யாவரையும்) மிகைத்தோனாகிய மிக்க அறிந்தோனாகியவனின் ஏற்பாடாகும்.
(He is the) Cleaver of the daybreak. He has appointed the night for resting, and the sun and the moon for reckoning. Such is the measuring of the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing.
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلنُّجُومَ لِتَهْتَدُوا۟ بِهَا فِى ظُلُمَـٰتِ ٱلْبَرِّ وَٱلْبَحْرِ ۗ قَدْ فَصَّلْنَا ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ
மேலும், அவன் எத்தகையவனென்றால் உங்களுக்காக நட்சத்திரங்களை அவற்றைக்கொண்டு கரையிலும் கடலிலும் உள்ள இருள்களில் நீங்கள் (நேர்) வழியறிந்து செல்வதற்காக-உண்டாக்கினான், (அசத்தியத்தைத் தவிர்த்து உண்மையை) அறியக்கூடிய கூட்டத்தினருக்கு (நம்முடைய) வசனங்களை நிச்சயமாக இவ்வாறு (நாம்) விவரிக்கின்றோம்.
It is He Who has set the stars1 for you, so that you may guide your course with their help through the darkness of the land and the sea. We have (indeed) explained in detail Our Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, Revelations, etc.) for people who know.
(About the) Stars. Abu Qatâdah mentioned Allâh’s Statement: "And We have adorned the nearest heaven with lamps," (V.67:5) and said, "The creation of these stars is for three purposes, i.e. as decoration of the (nearest) heaven, as missiles to hit the devils,… Show more
(About the) Stars. Abu Qatâdah mentioned Allâh’s Statement: "And We have adorned the nearest heaven with lamps," (V.67:5) and said, "The creation of these stars is for three purposes, i.e. as decoration of the (nearest) heaven, as missiles to hit the devils, and as signs to guide travellers. So, if anybody tries to find a different interpretation, he is mistaken and just wastes his efforts, and troubles himself with what is beyond his limited knowledge." (Sahih Al-Bukhârî, Vol.4, Chap. 3, P.282).
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنشَأَكُم مِّن نَّفْسٍ وَٰحِدَةٍ فَمُسْتَقَرٌّ وَمُسْتَوْدَعٌ ۗ قَدْ فَصَّلْنَا ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَفْقَهُونَ
இன்னும் அவன் எத்தகையவனென்றால், அவனே உங்களை ஓர் ஆத்மாவிலிருந்து உண்டாக்கினான், பின்னர், (மனிதர்களே! ஓவ்வொரு தாயின் வயிற்றில்) தங்குமிடமும் (கப்ரில்) ஒப்படைக்கப்படும் இடமும் உண்டு, விளங்கிக் கொள்கிற சமூகத்தினர்க்கு, (நம்முடைய) வசனங்களை நிச்சயமாக விவரிக்கின்றோம்.
It is He Who has created you from a single person (Adam), and has given you a place of residing (on the earth or in your mother’s wombs) and a place of storage [in the earth (in your graves) or in your father’s loins]. Indeed, We have explained in detail Our revelations (this Qur’ân) for people who understand.
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِۦ نَبَاتَ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ فَأَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهُ خَضِرًا نُّخْرِجُ مِنْهُ حَبًّا مُّتَرَاكِبًا وَمِنَ ٱلنَّخْلِ مِن طَلْعِهَا قِنْوَانٌ دَانِيَةٌ وَجَنَّـٰتٍ مِّنْ أَعْنَابٍ وَٱلزَّيْتُونَ وَٱلرُّمَّانَ مُشْتَبِهًا وَغَيْرَ مُتَشَـٰبِهٍ ۗ ٱنظُرُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ ثَمَرِهِۦٓ إِذَآ أَثْمَرَ وَيَنْعِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكُمْ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
மேலும், அவன் எத்தகையவனென்றால், வானத்திலிருந்து மழையை அவன் இறக்கி வைக்கின்றான், பின்னர் அதைக் கொண்டு ஒவ்வொரு பொருளின் புற்பூண்டுகளையும் நாம் (முளைக்க வைத்து) வெளிப்படுத்தினோம், பின்னர் அதிலிருந்து பசுமையான (பயிர்கள் உள்ள)தை நாம் வெளிப்படுத்தினோம், பின்னர், அதிலிருந்து ஒன்றின்மேல் ஒன்றாக அமைந்துள்ள (கதிர்களைப் போன்று) வித்துக்களை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறோம், பேரீச்ச மரத்திலிருந்து-அதன் பாளையிலிருந்து (பறிப்பவர்களுக்கு வளைந்து) அருகில் தொங்கும் பழக்குலைகளுமிருக்கின்றன, (அவற்றையும் நாமே வெளிப்படுத்துகின்றோம்) திராட்சைத் தோட்டங்களையும் (பார்வைக்கு) ஒன்று போலும் ரசனையில் வெவ்வேறாகவும் உள்ள ஜைய்த்தூன் (-ஒலிவம்) மாதுளை ஆகியவற்றையும் நாமே (வெளிப்படுத்துகின்றோம்.) அவற்றின் கனிகளை – அவை (பூத்துக்) காய்க்கும்போதும், பின்னர், அது கனிந்து பழமாகும் விதத்தையும் நோக்குவீர்களாக! விசுவாசங்கொள்ளும் சமூகத்தினர்க்கு நிச்சயமாக இவற்றில் (பல) அத்தாட்சிகள் இருக்கின்றன.
It is He Who sends down water (rain) from the sky, and with it We bring forth vegetation of all kinds, and out of it We bring forth green stalks, from which We bring forth thick clustered grain. And out of the date-palm and its spathe come forth clusters of dates hanging low and near, and gardens of grapes, olives and pomegranates, each similar (in kind) yet different (in variety and taste). Look at their fruits when they begin to bear, and the ripeness thereof. Verily! In these things there are signs for people who believe.
وَجَعَلُوا۟ لِلَّهِ شُرَكَآءَ ٱلْجِنَّ وَخَلَقَهُمْ ۖ وَخَرَقُوا۟ لَهُۥ بَنِينَ وَبَنَـٰتٍۭ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ ۚ سُبْحَـٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَـٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
இன்னும், அவர்கள், ஜின்களில் (பலரை) அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு இணையாளர்களாக ஆக்குகின்றனர், (ஜின்களான) அவர்களையும் அவனே சிருஷ்டித்திருக்கின்றான், இன்னும் (அவர்கள் எவ்வித அறிவுமின்றி ஆண்மக்களையும் பெண் மக்களையும் அவனுக்கு (இணையாளர்களாகக்)கற்பனை செய்துவிட்டார்கள், அவன் (மகா) தூயவன், அவர்கள் (இவ்வாறு) வர்ணிப்பவைகளை விட்டும் அவன் பரிசுத்தமடைந்து விட்டான்.
Yet, they join the jinn as partners in worship with Allâh, though He has created them (the jinn); and they attribute falsely without knowledge sons and daughters to Him. Be He Glorified and Exalted above all that (evil) they attribute to Him.
بَدِيعُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لَهُۥ وَلَدٌ وَلَمْ تَكُن لَّهُۥ صَـٰحِبَةٌ ۖ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ ۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
முன் மாதிரியின்றியே வானங்கள் மற்றும் பூமியைப் படைத்தவன், அவனுக்கு மனைவியே இல்லாதிருக்க அவனுக்கு எவ்வாறு பிள்ளையிருக்க முடியும்? இன்னும், ஒவ்வொரு பொருளையும் அவனே படைத்திருக்கின்றான், அன்றியும் அவன் ஒவ்வொரு பொருளையும் நன்கறிந்தவன்
He is the Originator of the heavens and the earth. How can He have children when He has no wife? He created all things and He is the All-Knower of everything1.

ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ ۖ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ خَـٰلِقُ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ فَٱعْبُدُوهُ ۚ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ وَكِيلٌ
(இத்தகைய தகுதிகளையுடைய) அவன்தான் அல்லாஹ், உங்களின் இரட்சகன் வணக்கத்திற்குரியவன், அவனைத் தவிர (வேறு ஒருவரும்) இல்லை, அவனே ஒவ்வொரு பொருளையும் படைத்தவன், ஆகவே, அவ(ன் ஒருவ)னையே நீங்கள் (யாவரும்) வணங்குங்கள், அவனே ஒவ்வொரு பொருளின் மீதும் பொறுப்பாளன்.
Such is Allâh, your Lord! Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Creator of all things. So worship Him (Alone), and He is the Wakîl (Trustee, Disposer of affairs, Guardian) over all things.
لَّا تُدْرِكُهُ ٱلْأَبْصَـٰرُ وَهُوَ يُدْرِكُ ٱلْأَبْصَـٰرَ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱللَّطِيفُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ
பார்வைகள் அவனை அடையாது, அவனோ பார்வைகளை அடைகிறான், அவனே (எவரின் பார்வைக்கும் அகப்படாத) நுட்பமானவன், நன்கு உணர்பவன்.
No vision can grasp Him, but He grasps all vision. He is Al-Latîf (the Most Subtle and Courteous), Well-Acquainted with all things.
قَدْ جَآءَكُم بَصَآئِرُ مِن رَّبِّكُمْ ۖ فَمَنْ أَبْصَرَ فَلِنَفْسِهِۦ ۖ وَمَنْ عَمِىَ فَعَلَيْهَا ۚ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ عَلَيْكُم بِحَفِيظٍ
உங்கள் இரட்சகனிடமிருந்து (நமது சத்தியத்திற்குரிய) அநேக சான்றுகள் உங்களிடம் திட்டமாக வந்துவிட்டன, ஆகவே, எவர் (அவற்றைக் கவனித்துப்) பார்க்கிறாரோ அப்பொழுது அது) அவருக்கே (நன்று!), மேலும் எவர் (அவற்றைப் பார்க்காது கண்ணை மூடிக்கொண்டு) குருடராகிவிடுகிறாரோ (அது) தமக்கே கேடாகும், இன்னும் (நபியே! நீர் அவர்களிடம்) “நான் உங்களைக் காப்போன் அல்ல” (அல்லாஹ்வின் தூதை எத்திவைப்பவன் மாத்திரமே) என்று கூறுவீராக!
Verily, proofs have come to you from your Lord, so whosoever sees, will do so for (the good of) his ownself, and whosoever blinds himself, will do so to his own harm, and I (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) am not a watcher over you.
وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُصَرِّفُ ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ وَلِيَقُولُوا۟ دَرَسْتَ وَلِنُبَيِّنَهُۥ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ
(நபியே! நீர் வேதக்காரர்களிடமிருந்து கற்றுக்கொண்டு இதை) பாடம் படித்து வந்தீர் என அவர்கள் கூறுவதற்காகவும், இன்னும் அறியக்கூடிய சமூகத்தார்க்கு நாம் அதைத் தெளிவு செய்வதற்காகவும் (நமது) வசனங்களை இவ்வாறு (விதவிதமாக) திரும்பத் திரும்ப நாம் தெளிவு செய்கிறோம்.
Thus We explain variously the Verses so that they (the disbelievers) may say: "You have studied (the Books of the people of the Scripture and brought this Qur’ân from that)" and that We may make the matter clear for the people who have knowledge.
ٱتَّبِعْ مَآ أُوحِىَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ ۖ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ وَأَعْرِضْ عَنِ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ
(நபியே!) உம் இரட்சகனால் உமக்கு வஹீமுலம் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டவற்றையே நீர் பின்பற்றுவீராக! அவனைத் தவிர வணக்கத்திற்குரிய (வேறு) நாயன் இல்லவேயில்லை, இன்னும் (அவனுக்கு) இணை வைப்போரை விட்டும் நீர் புறக்கணித்து விடுவீராக!
Follow what has been revealed to you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) from your Lord, Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He) and turn aside from Al-Mushrikûn 1
. Al-Mushrikûn: polytheists, pagans, idolaters and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh and His Messenger Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم.
وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَآ أَشْرَكُوا۟ ۗ وَمَا جَعَلْنَـٰكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَفِيظًا ۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِوَكِيلٍ
மேலும், அல்லாஹ் நாடியிருந்தால் அவர்கள் இணை வைத்திருக்கமாட்டார்கள், அவர்கள் மீது காப்பாளராகவும் உம்மை நாம் ஏற்படுத்தவுமில்லை, இன்னும் நீர் அவர்களின் (காரியங்களை நிர்வகிக்கும்) பொறுப்பாளருமல்லர்.
Had Allâh willed, they would not have taken others besides Him in worship. And We have not made you a watcher over them nor are you a Wakîl (disposer of affairs, guardian, trustee) over them.
وَلَا تَسُبُّوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَيَسُبُّوا۟ ٱللَّهَ عَدْوًۢا بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ زَيَّنَّا لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ عَمَلَهُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِم مَّرْجِعُهُمْ فَيُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ
(விசுவாசிகளே) அல்லாஹ்வையன்றி அவர்கள் அழைத்துக் கொண்டிருப்போரை நீங்கள் திட்டாதீர்கள், அதனால் அவர்கள் அறியாமையின் காரணமாக விரோதத்தால் அல்லாஹ்வைத் திட்டுவார்கள், இவ்வாறே ஒவ்வொரு வகுப்பினருக்கும் அவர்களுடைய செயலை நாம் அலங்காரமாக்கி வைத்திருக்கின்றோம், பின்னர் அவர்களின் மீட்சி அவர்களின் இரட்சகனின் பாலே உள்ளது, பின்னர் அவர்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருந்ததைப் பற்றி அவன் அவர்களுக்கு அறிவித்து விடுவான்.
And insult not those whom they (disbelievers) worship besides Allâh, lest they insult Allâh wrongfully without knowledge. Thus We have made fair-seeming to each people its own doings; then to their Lord is their return and He shall then inform them of all that they used to do.1

Narrated Ibn ‘Umar رضي الله عنهما: Allâh’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم said, "Once three persons (from the previous nations) were travelling, and suddenly it started raining and they took shelter in a cave. The entrance of the cave got closed (suddenly by the falling of a huge rock) while they were inside. They said to each other, ‘O You! Nothing can save you except the truth, so each of you should ask Allâh’s Help by referring to such a deed as he thinks he did sincerely (i.e., just for gaining Allâh’s Pleasure).’ So one of them said, ‘O Allâh! You know that I had a labourer who worked for me for one Faraq (i.e. three Sâ‘)of rice, but he departed, leaving it (i.e. his wages). I sowed that Faraq of rice and with its yield I bought cows (for him). Later on when came to me asking for his wages, I said (to him), ‘Go to those cows and drive them away.’ He said to me, ‘But you have to pay me only a Faraq of rice.’ I said to him, ‘Go to those cows and take them, for they are the product of that Faraq (of rice).’ So he drove them. O Allâh! If you consider that I did that for fear of You, then please remove the rock.’ The rock shifted a bit from the mouth of the cave. The second one said, ‘O Allâh, You know that I had old parents whom I used to provide with the milk of my sheep every night. One night I was delayed and when I came, they had slept, while my wife and children were crying with hunger. I used not to let them (i.e. my family) drink unless my parents had drunk first. So I disliked to wake them up and also disliked that they should sleep without drinking it, I kept on waiting (for them to wake) till it dawned. O Allâh! If You consider that I did that for fear of You, then please remove the rock.’ So the rock shifted and they could see the sky through it. The (third) one said, ‘O Allah! You know that I had a cousin (i.e. my paternal uncle’s daughter) who was most beloved to me and I sought to seduce her, but she refused, unless I paid her one-hundred Dinârs (i.e. gold pieces). So I collected the amount and brought it to her, and she allowed me to sleep with her. But when I sat between her legs, she said, ‘Be afraid of Allâh, and do not deflower me but legally.’ ‘I got up and left the hundred Dinârs (for her). O Allâh! If You consider that I did that for fear of You then please remove the rock.’ So Allâh released them (removed the rock) and they came out (of the cave)." [This Hadith indicates that one can only ask Allâh for help directly or through his performed good deeds. But to ask Allâh through the dead or absent (prophets, saints, spirits, holy men, angels) is absolutely forbidden in Islâm and it is a kind of polytheism]. (Sahih Al-Bukhâri, Vol.4,Hadith No.671).
وَأَقْسَمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَـٰنِهِمْ لَئِن جَآءَتْهُمْ ءَايَةٌ لَّيُؤْمِنُنَّ بِهَا ۚ قُلْ إِنَّمَا ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ۖ وَمَا يُشْعِرُكُمْ أَنَّهَآ إِذَا جَآءَتْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
மேலும், (அவர்கள் விரும்பியவாறு) யாதோர் அத்தாட்சி அவர்களுக்கு வந்தால், நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் அதனை நம்புவார்கள் என அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது உறுதியான சத்தியமாக சத்தியம் செய்(து கூறு)கின்றனர், “நிச்சயமாக அத்தாட்சிகள் யாவும் அல்லாஹ்விடமேயிருக்கின்றன, (அவற்றை அவன் விரும்பியவாறே வெளியாக்குவான்)” என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக! (அவ்வாறு) அவர்களிடம் நிச்சயமாக அது வரும்பட்சத்தில், அதனை அவர்கள் விசுவாசிப்பார்கள் என்பதை (விசுவாசிகளே) உங்களுக்கு அறிவித்தது எது? (11)
And they swear their strongest oaths by Allâh, that if there came to them a sign, they would surely believe therein. Say: "Signs are but with Allâh and what will make you (Muslims) perceive that (even) if it (the sign) came, they will not believe?"
وَنُقَلِّبُ أَفْـِٔدَتَهُمْ وَأَبْصَـٰرَهُمْ كَمَا لَمْ يُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِهِۦٓ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَنَذَرُهُمْ فِى طُغْيَـٰنِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ
மேலும், முதல் தடவை அவர்கள் இவ்வேதத்தை விசுவாசிக்காது இருந்த பிரகாரமே நாம் அவர்களுடைய இதயங்களையும், பார்வைகளையும் புரட்டிவிடுவோம், அவர்களுடைய வழிகேட்டிலேயே அவர்களைத் தட்டழிந்து திரியுமாறு விட்டுவிடுவோம்.
And We shall turn their hearts and their eyes away (from guidance), as they refused to believe therein for the first time, and We shall leave them in their trespass to wander blindly.
۞ وَلَوْ أَنَّنَا نَزَّلْنَآ إِلَيْهِمُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ وَكَلَّمَهُمُ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَحَشَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ قُبُلًا مَّا كَانُوا۟ لِيُؤْمِنُوٓا۟ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ يَجْهَلُونَ
இன்னும், (அவர்கள் கேட்டவாறு) நிச்சயமாக மலக்குகளை அவர்களிடம் நாம் இறக்கி வைத்ததாலும், இறந்தோர் அவர்களிடம் பேசினாலும், ஒவ்வொரு பொருளையும் அவர்கள் (கண்) முன் கொண்டுவந்து ஒன்று சேர்த்தாலும் அல்லாஹ் நாடினாலே தவிர அவர்கள் விசுவாசங் கொள்பவர்களாக இல்லை, அவர்களின் பெரும்பாலோர் அறியாதவர்களாகவே இருக்கின்றனர்.
And even if We had sent down unto them angels, and the dead had spoken unto them, and We had gathered together all things before their very eyes, they would not have believed, unless Allâh willed, but most of them behave ignorantly.
وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِىٍّ عَدُوًّا شَيَـٰطِينَ ٱلْإِنسِ وَٱلْجِنِّ يُوحِى بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَىٰ بَعْضٍ زُخْرُفَ ٱلْقَوْلِ غُرُورًا ۚ وَلَوْ شَآءَ رَبُّكَ مَا فَعَلُوهُ ۖ فَذَرْهُمْ وَمَا يَفْتَرُونَ
மேலும், இவ்வாறே ஒவ்வொரு நபிக்கும், மனிதரிலும், ஜின்களிலும் உள்ள ஷைத்தான்களை விரோதியாக நாம் ஆக்கியிருந்தோம், அவர்களில் சிலர் சிலருக்கு அலங்காரமான (பொய்க்) கூற்றுக்களை ஏமாற்றுவதற்காக இரகசியமாக அறிவிக்கின்றனர், மேலும், உம்முடைய இரட்சகன் நாடியிருந்தால் இவ்வாறு அவர்கள் செய்திருக்க மாட்டார்கள், ஆகவே, (நபியே!) நீர் அவர்களையும் அவர்கள் கற்பனை செய்து கொண்டிருப்பவைகளையும் விட்டுவிடுவீராக!
And so We have appointed for every Prophet enemies - Shayâtîn (devils) among mankind and jinn, inspiring one another with adorned speech as a delusion (or by way of deception). If your Lord had so willed, they would not have done it; so leave them alone with their fabrications. (Tafsîr Qurtubi)
وَلِتَصْغَىٰٓ إِلَيْهِ أَفْـِٔدَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ وَلِيَرْضَوْهُ وَلِيَقْتَرِفُوا۟ مَا هُم مُّقْتَرِفُونَ
மறுமையை நம்பாதோரின் இதயங்கள் (ஷைத்தானின் அலங்காரமான பொய்க்கூற்றுக்களாகிய) அதற்குச் செவி சாய்ப்பதற்காகவும், அதனை அவர்கள் பொருந்திக் கொள்வதற்காகவும், அவர்கள் எதைச் செய்யக்கூடியவர்களாக இருக்கிறார்களோ அதனை அவர்கள் செய்வதற்காகவுமே (இவ்வாறு ஷைத்தான்கள் மயக்கி வந்தனர்)
(And this is in order) that the hearts of those who disbelieve in the Hereafter may incline to such (deceit), and that they may remain pleased with it, and that they may commit what they are committing (all kinds of sins and evil deeds).
أَفَغَيْرَ ٱللَّهِ أَبْتَغِى حَكَمًا وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ إِلَيْكُمُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ مُفَصَّلًا ۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ يَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهُۥ مُنَزَّلٌ مِّن رَّبِّكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۖ فَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْمُمْتَرِينَ
“அல்லாஹ் அல்லாதவனையா தீர்ப்பாளனாக நான் தேடுவேன்” அவனே இவ்வேதத்தை விவரிக்கப்பட்டதாக உங்களுக்கு இறக்கி (அருளி)யிருக்கிறான்” (என்று நபியே! நீர் கூறுவீராக! இதற்கு முன்னர்) எவர்களுக்கு நாம் வேதம் கொடுத்திருக்கின்றோமோ அத்தகையவர்கள் இது நிச்சயமாகவே உம் இரட்சகனிடமிருந்து உண்மையைக் கொண்டே இறக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது என்பதை உறுதியாக அவர்கள் அறிவார்கள், ஆகவே, சந்தேகப்படுவோரில் நிச்சயமாக நீர் (ஒருவராக) ஆகிவிடாதீர்.
[Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم)] "Shall I seek a judge other than Allâh while it is He Who has sent down unto you the Book (the Qur’ân), explained in detail." Those unto whom We gave the Scripture [the Taurât (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] know that it is revealed from your Lord in truth. So be not you of those who doubt.
وَتَمَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ صِدْقًا وَعَدْلًا ۚ لَّا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَـٰتِهِۦ ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
மேலும், (நபியே!) உமதிரட்சகனின் வார்த்தைகள் (அவன் கூற்றுக்களில்) உண்மையாலும் (அவன் செயல்களில்) நீதத்தாலும், பூர்த்தியாகிவிட்டன, அவனுடைய வாக்குகளை மாற்றுவோர் எவருமில்லை, அவனே (யாவையும்) செவியேற்கிறவன், நன்கறிகிறவன்.
And the Word of your Lord has been fulfilled in truth and in justice. None can change His Words. And He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.
وَإِن تُطِعْ أَكْثَرَ مَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ يُضِلُّوكَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّ وَإِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَخْرُصُونَ
மேலும், இப்புவியிலிருப்போரில் பெரும்பாலோருக்கு (அவர்களின் கூற்றை ஏற்று) நீர் கீழ்ப்படிந்து நடந்தால், அவர்கள் உம்மை அல்லாஹ்வுடைய பாதையிலிருந்து (திருப்பி) வழிகெடுத்து விடுவார்கள், வெறும் யூகத்தைத் தவிர (வேறெதையும்) அவர்கள் பின் பற்றுவதில்லை, மேலும், அவர்கள் அனுமானம் செய்பவர்களே தவிர (வேறு) இல்லை.
And if you obey most of those on the earth, they will mislead you far away from Allâh’s Path. They follow nothing but conjectures, and they do nothing but lie.
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ مَن يَضِلُّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ ۖ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِٱلْمُهْتَدِينَ
(நபியே!) நிச்சயமாக உமதிரட்சகன் தன் வழியை விட்டும் தவறியவன் யார் என்பதை அவன் மிக்க அறிந்தவன், மேலும், நேர் வழியைப் பெற்றுவிட்டவர்களையும் அவன் மிக்க அறிந்தவன்.
Verily, your Lord! It is He Who knows best who strays from His Way, and He knows best the rightly guided ones.
فَكُلُوا۟ مِمَّا ذُكِرَ ٱسْمُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ إِن كُنتُم بِـَٔايَـٰتِهِۦ مُؤْمِنِينَ
ஆகவே, (விசுவாசிகளே!) நீங்கள் அவனுடைய வசனங்களை விசுவாசித்தவர்களாயிருந்தால், (அறுக்கும் பொழுது) எதன்மீது அல்லாஹ்வுடைய பெயர் கூறப்பட்டதோ அவற்றிலிருந்து நீங்கள் புசியுங்கள்.
So eat of that (meat) on which Allâh’s Name has been pronounced (while slaughtering the animal), if you are believers in His Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.).
وَمَا لَكُمْ أَلَّا تَأْكُلُوا۟ مِمَّا ذُكِرَ ٱسْمُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَقَدْ فَصَّلَ لَكُم مَّا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِلَّا مَا ٱضْطُرِرْتُمْ إِلَيْهِ ۗ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًا لَّيُضِلُّونَ بِأَهْوَآئِهِم بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ ۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِٱلْمُعْتَدِينَ
எதன் பக்கம் நீங்கள் நிர்ப்பந்தப்பட்டவர்களாகி விட்டீர்களோ அதைத் தவிர, எதை உங்களின் மீது அவன் தடுத்து (ஹராமாக்கி உ)ள்ளானோ அதை அவன் உங்களுக்குத் திட்டமாக தெளிவு செய்திருக்க எவற்றின் மீது (அறுக்கும்பொழுது) அல்லாஹ்வின் பெயர் கூறப்பட்டதோ அவற்றிலிருந்து நீங்கள் புசிக்காதிருக்க உங்களுக்கு என்ன நேர்ந்தது? மேலும், நிச்சயமாக (மனிதர்களில்) பெரும்பாலோர் அறிவின்றியே தங்கள் மன இச்சைகளின்படியெல்லாம் (மக்களை) உறுதியாகவே வழிகெடுத்து விடுகிறார்கள், (நபியே!) நிச்சயமாக உமதிரட்சகன் - அவனே வரம்பு மீறியவர்களை மிக்க அறிந்தவன்.
And why should you not eat of that (meat) on which Allâh’s Name has been pronounced (at the time of slaughtering the animal), while He has explained to you in detail what is forbidden to you, except under compulsion of necessity? And surely many do lead (mankind) astray by their own desires through lack of knowledge. Certainly your Lord knows best the transgressors.
وَذَرُوا۟ ظَـٰهِرَ ٱلْإِثْمِ وَبَاطِنَهُۥٓ ۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَكْسِبُونَ ٱلْإِثْمَ سَيُجْزَوْنَ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَقْتَرِفُونَ
(விசுவாசிகளே!) நீங்கள் பாவத்தில் வெளிப்படையானதையும், அதில் இரகிசயமானதையும் விட்டு விடுங்கள். (ஏனென்றால்) நிச்சயமாக பாவத்தைச் சம்பாதிக்கின்றனரே அத்தகையோர் - தாங்கள் சம்பாதித்தவற்றுக்கு (மறுமையில்) அவர்கள் கூலி கொடுக்கப்படுவார்கள்.
Leave (O mankind, all kinds of) sin, open and secret. Verily, those who commit sin will get due recompense for that which they used to commit.
