6. Al-An'am

வானங்களை, மற்றும் பூமியைப் படைத்து இருள்களை, மற்றும் ஒளியை ஆக்கியவனாகிய அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே எல்லாப்புகழும் உரியதாகும், அதன் பின்னரும் நிராகரிப்போர் (அல்லாஹ்வாகிய) தங்கள் இரட்சகனுக்கு (அவன் படைத்தவற்றில் சிலவற்றை)ச் சமமாக்குகின்றனர்.

All praises and thanks be to Allâh, Who (Alone) created the heavens and the earth, and originated the darkness and the light; yet those who disbelieve hold others as equal with their Lord.

அவன் எத்தகையோனென்றால், உங்களைக் களிமண்ணால் அவன் படைத்தான், பின்னர், (உங்களுக்கு) ஒரு தவணையையும் நிர்ணயம் செய்துள்ளான், (உங்கள் விசாரணைக்காகவும்) ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட தவணையும் அவனிடத்தில் உண்டு, பின்னும், நீங்கள் (அவன் வணக்கத்திற்குறியவன் என்பதில்) சந்தேகப்படுகிறீர்கள்.

He it is Who has created you from clay, and then has decreed a (stated) term (for you to die). And there is with Him another determined term (for you to be resurrected), yet you doubt (in the Resurrection).

மேலும், அவனே வானங்களிலும், பூமியிலும் (வணக்கத்திதற்குரிய) அல்லாஹ், அவன் உங்களுடைய இரகசியத்தையும், உங்களுடைய பரகசியத்தையும் நன்கறிவான், இன்னும், (நன்மையோ, தீமையோ செய்து) நீங்கள் சம்பாதிப்பவைகளையும் அவன் நன்கறிவான்.

And He is Allâh (to be worshipped Alone) in the heavens and on the earth; He knows what you conceal and what you reveal, and He knows what you earn (good or bad). (See V.43:84)

(நிராகரிப்போர்) தங்களுடைய இரட்சகனின் வசனங்(களான அத்தாட்சி)களிலிருந்து எந்த வசனமும், அதனை அவர்கள் புறக்கணிக்கக் கூடியவர்களாக இருந்தே தவிர அவர்களிடம் வருவதில்லை.

And never an Ayah (sign) comes to them from the Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord, but that they have been turning away from it.

ஆகவே, சத்திய (வேத)த்தை-அது அவர்களிடம் வந்திருக்கும்போது திட்டமாக அவர்கள் பொய்யாக்கிவிட்டனர்.) ஆகவே, எவ்விஷயங்கள் பற்றி, அவர்கள் பரிகசித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றனரோ அவை பற்றிய செய்திகள் அவர்களுக்கு வந்தே தீரும்.

Indeed, they rejected the truth (the Qur’ân and Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم)¹ when it came to them, but there will come to them the news of that (the torment) which they used to mock at.

அவர்களுக்கு, முன்னர் எத்தனையோ தலைமுறையினரை நாம் அழித்திருக்கின்றோம், என்பதை அவர்கள் பார்க்கவில்லையா? பூமியில் உங்களுக்கு நாம் செய்து தராத வசதிகளையெல்லாம் அவர்களுக்கு நாம் செய்து தந்திருந்தோம், மேலும், அவர்களின் மீது தொடாச்சியாக மழை பொழியுமாறு நாம் செய்தோம், இன்னும், ஆறுகளை அவர்களுக்குக் கீழ் ஓடிக் கொண்டிருக்கும்படியாக நாம் ஆக்கினோம், ஆகவே, அவர்களுடைய பாவங்களின் காரணமாக அவர்களை நாம் அழித்து விட்டோம், மேலும், அவர்களுக்குப் பின்னர் வேறு தலைமுறையினரை நாம் உண்டாக்கினோம்.

Have they not seen how many a generation before them We have destroyed whom We had established on the earth such as We have not established you? And We poured out on them rain from the sky in abundance, and made the rivers flow under them. Yet We destroyed them for their sins, and We created after them other generations.

காகிதத்தில் (எழுதப்பட்ட) ஒரு வேதத்தையே நாம் உம்மீது இறக்கி வைத்து அதனை அவர்கள் தங்கள் கைகளால் தொட்டுப் பார்த்திருந்தபோதிலும், “இது பகிரங்கமான சூனியத்தைத் தவிர வேறில்லை” என்றே நிச்சயமாக இந்நிராகரிப்போர் கூறியிருப்பர்.

And even if We had sent down unto you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) a Message written on paper so that they could touch it with their hands, the disbelievers would have said: "This is nothing but obvious magic!"

இன்னும், (இவர் உண்மையான தூதர் தான் என்று சாட்சி கூற) அவருக்காக ஒரு மலக்கு வானத்திலிருந்து இறக்கப்பட வேண்டாமா?” என்றும் அவர்கள் கூறுகின்றனர், (அவர்கள் கூறுகின்ற பிரகாரமே) ஒரு மலக்கை நாம் இறக்கி வைத்திருந்தால் (அவர்களின்) காரியம் முடிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும், பிறகு அவர்கள் அவகாசம் கொடுக்கப்பட மாட்டார்கள்.

And they say: "Why has not an angel been sent down to him?" Had We sent down an angel, the matter would have been judged at once, and no respite would be granted to them.

மேலும் (நம் தூதரான) அவரை ஒரு மலக்காக நாம் ஆக்கி அனுப்பியிருந்தால் அவரை ஒரு மனிதராகவே நாம் ஆக்கி(அனுப்பி)யிருப்போம், அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் குழம்பிக்கொண்டிருந்த ஒன்றையே அவர்களுக்கு நாம் குழப்பியவர்களாவோம்.

And had We appointed him an angel, We indeed would have made him a man, and We would have certainly confused them in which they are already confused (i.e. the Message of Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم).

(நபியே!) உமக்கு முன்னர் (வந்த மற்ற) தூதர்களும் திட்டமாக பரிகசிக்கப்பட்டனர், (முடிவில்) அவர்கள் எ(ந்த வேதனையான)தைப் பரிகசித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தனரோ அது அவர்களில் பரிகசித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தார்களே அத்தகையோரைச் சூழ்ந்து கொண்டது.

And indeed (many) Messengers before you were mocked at, but their scoffers were surrounded by the very thing that they used to mock at.

“நீங்கள் பூமியில் சுற்றித் திரிந்து பின்னர் (உங்களைப் போல் அல்லாஹ்வின் வசனங்களைப்) பொய்யாக்கிக் கொண்டிருந்தவர்களின் முடிவு எப்படி இருந்தது என்று நீங்கள் கவனித்துப் பாருங்கள்” என்று (நபியே! நீர் அவர்களிடம்) கூறுவீராக!

Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Travel in the land and see what was the end of those who rejected truth."

(அன்றியும்) “வானங்களில், மற்றும் பூமியில் உள்ளவை (யாவும்) யாருக்கு உரியன? என நீர் (அவர்களைக்) கேட்பீராக! (“இவை யாவும்) அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே உரியன” என்று கூறுவீராக! அவன் கருணையைத் தன் மீது கடமையாக்கிக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றான், அவன் நிச்சயமாக உங்களை மறுமைநாளில் அவன் ஒன்று சேர்ப்பான், அந்நாள் நடந்தேறுவதில் சந்தேகமேயில்லை, (நிராகரித்து) தங்களுக்குத் தாங்களே நஷ்டத்தை உண்டு பண்ணிக் கொண்டார்களே அத்தகையோர்-அவர்கள் (இதனை) நம்பவே மாட்டார்கள்.

Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "To whom belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth?" Say: "To Allâh. He has prescribed Mercy for Himself.¹ Indeed He will gather you together on the Day of Resurrection, about which there is no doubt. Those who have lost themselves will not believe [in Allâh as being the only Ilâh (God), and Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم as being one of His Messengers, and in Resurrection].

   A) Narrated Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه: I heard Allâh’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم saying, "Allâh has divided Mercy into one hundred parts, and He kept ninety-nine parts with Him and sent down one part to the earth, and because of that one single part, His creatures are merciful to each other, so that even the mare lifts up its hoof away from its baby animal, lest it should trample on it." (Sahih Al-Bukhâri, Vol.8, Hadîth No.29).

   B) Narrated Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه: Allâh’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم said, "When Allâh completed the creation, He wrote in His Book which is with Him on His Throne: ‘Verily, My Mercy has overcome My Anger.’ " (Sahih Al-Bukhâri, Vol.4, Hadîth No.416).

இரவில் மற்றும் பகலில் வாழ்ந்திருப்பவை (அனைத்தும்) அவனுக்கே உரியன! அவனேதான் நன்கு செவியேற்பவன் (யாவற்றையும்) நன்கறிந்தோன்.

And to Him belongs whatsoever exists in the night and the day, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing."

“வானங்களை, மற்றும் பூமியைப் படைத்த அல்லாஹ் அல்லாதவனை (வணக்கத்திற்கும் உதவியை நல்குவதற்குரிய) பாதுகாவலனாக நான் எடுத்துக் கொள்வேனா? அவன்தான் (நமக்கு)உணவளிக்கின்றான், (எவராலும்) அவன் உணவளிக்கப்படமாட்டான்” என (நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக! முற்றிலும் அவனுக்கு கீழ்ப்படிந்தவர்களில் முதன்மையானவனாக நான் இருக்க வேண்டுமென்றும் (அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு) இணைவைத்துக் கொண்டிருப்போரில் (ஒருவராக) நீர் ஆகிவிடாதீர் என்றும் நிச்சயமாக நான் கட்டளையிடப்பட்டுள்ளேன்” என்றும் நீர் கூறுவீராக!

Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Shall I take as a Walî (Helper, Protector, Lord or God) any other than Allâh, the Creator of the heavens and the earth? And it is He Who feeds but is not fed." Say: "Verily, I am commanded to be the first of those who submit themselves to Allâh (as Muslims)." And be not you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) of the Mushrikûn [polytheists, pagans, idolaters and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh]. (Tafsir Al-Qurtubi)

“என்னுடைய இரட்சகனுக்கு நான் மாறு செய்தால், மகத்தான நாளின் வேதனையை நிச்சயமாக நான் பயப்படுகிறேன்” என (நபியே! மேலும்) நீர் கூறுவீராக!

Say: "I fear, if I disobey my Lord, the torment of a Mighty Day."

“எவர் அந்நாளில் அதனை (அவ்வேதனையை) விட்டுத் திருப்பப்படுகிறாரோ அவருக்கு திட்டமாக (அல்லாஹ்வாகிய) அவன் அருள் புரிந்து விட்டான், அது தெளிவான வெற்றியுமாகும்.

He who is averted from (such a torment) on that Day, (Allâh) has surely been Merciful to him. And that would be the obvious success.

இன்னும் (நபியே!) அல்லாஹ் உமக்கு ஏதாவது (ஒரு) துன்பத்தைக்கொண்டு பீடிப்பானாகில் அதனை நீக்குவோர் அவனையன்றி வேறு ஒருவரும் இல்லை, (அவ்வாறே) அவன் உமக்கு ஒரு நன்மையை ஏற்படுத்தித் தந்தால் (அதைத் தடுத்துவிடுவோர் எவருமில்லை), அவன் ஒவ்வொரு பொருளின் மீதும் மிக்க ஆற்றலுடையவன்.

And if Allâh touches you with harm, none can remove it but He, and if He touches you with good, then He is Able to do all things.

மேலும், அவனே தன் அடியார்களுக்கு மேலிருந்து (அவர்களை) அடக்கி ஆள்பவன், அன்றியும் அவனே தீர்க்கமான அறிவுடையவன், (யாவையும்) நன்கு உணர்பவன்.

And He is the Irresistible, (Supreme) above His slaves, and He is the All-Wise, Well-Acquainted with all things.

(நபியே!) சாட்சியால் மிகப்பெரியது எது?” என நீர் (அவர்களைக்) கேட்பீராக! (அவர்களால் என்ன கூற முடியும்? நீரே அவர்களிடம்) அல்லாஹ்வே எனக்கும் உங்களுக்குமிடையில் சாட்சியாக(வும்) இருக்கின்றான், இன்னும், இந்தக் குர் ஆனைக் கொண்டு உங்களுக்கும் (இது) சென்றடைந்தவர்களுக்கும் நான் அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிக்கை செய்வதற்காகவே இது எனக்கு வஹீமூலம் அறிவிக்கப் பட்டுள்ளது” (என்று கூறி) “நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வுடன் வேறு வணக்கத்திற்குரியவர்கள் இருப்பதாக (மெய்யாகவே) நீங்கள் சாட்சி கூறுவீர்களா?” என்றும் (அவர்களை) நீர் கேட்பீராக! (“இல்லை” அவ்வாறு) நான் சாட்சி கூற மாட்டேன்” என்று நீர் கூறுவீராக! “நிச்சயமாக (வணக்கத்திற்குரிய) அவன் ஒரே நாயன்தான், இன்னும், (அவனுக்கு) நீங்கள் இணை வைப்பதிலிருந்தும் நிச்சயமாக நான் நீங்கிக்கொண்டவன்” என்று கூறுவீராக!

Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "What thing is the most great in witness?" Say: "Allâh (the Most Great!) is Witness between me and you; this Qur’ân has been revealed to me that I may therewith warn you and whomsoever it may reach. Can you verily bear witness that besides Allâh there are other âlihah (gods)?" Say "I bear no (such) witness!" Say: "But in truth He (Allâh) is the only one Ilâh (God). And truly I am innocent of what you join in worship with Him."

எவர்களுக்கு நான் வேதத்தை கொடுத்திருந்தோமோ அத்தகையவர்கள்-அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய ஆண்மக்களை அறிவதைப்போல, அவரை அறிவார்கள் (எனினும், அவர்களில்) எவர்கள் (இதனை மறைத்து) தமக்குத் தாமே நஷ்டமிழைத்துக் கொண்டனரோ, அவர்கள் தாம் நம்பிக்கை கொள்ளமாட்டார்கள்.

Those to whom We have given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) recognize him (i.e. Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم as a Messenger of Allâh, and they also know that there is no Ilâh (God) but Allâh and Islâm is Allâh’s Religion), as they recognize their own sons. Those who have lost (destroyed) themselves will not believe.¹ (Tafsir At-Tabarî).

மேலும், அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது பொய்யைக் கற்பனை செய்தவரைவிட, அல்லது அவனுடைய வசனங்களைப் பொய்யாக்கியவரை விடவோ மிகப்பெரிய அநியாயக்காரர் யார்? நிச்சயமாக அநியாயக்காரர்கள் வெற்றி பெற மாட்டார்கள்.

And who does more aggression and wrong than he who invents a lie against Allâh or rejects His Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons or revelations)? Verily, the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers) shall never be successful.

இன்னும் (அந்)நாளில் நாம் அவர்கள் அனைவரையும் ஒன்று திரட்டுவோம், பின்னர் (அவர்களில்) இணைவைத்து வணங்கிக் கொண்டிருந்தோரிடம், (உங்கள் இணையாளர்கள் என நீங்கள் எவர்களை(க் கற்பனையாக) எண்ணிக் கொண்டிருந்தீர்களோ, அத்தகைய உங்களுடைய இணையாளர்கள் எங்கே?” என்று நாம் கேட்போம்.

And on the Day when We shall gather them all together, then We shall say to those who joined partners (in worship with Us): "Where are your partners (false deities) whom you used to assert (as partners in worship with Allâh)?"

பின்னர் அவர்கள் “எங்களுடைய இரட்சகன் அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது சத்தியமாக நாங்கள் இணை வைக்கக்கூடியவர்களாக இருக்கவில்லை!” என்று கூறுவதைத் தவிர அவர்களின் உபாயம் (வேறு) இல்லை.

There will then be (left) no Fitnah (excuses or statements or arguments) for them but to say: "By Allâh, our Lord, we were not those who joined others in worship with Allâh."

தங்களுக்கெதிராக அவர்கள் எவ்வாறு பொய் கூறுகின்றனர் என்பதை (நபியே!) நீர் கவனிப்பீராக! (அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு இணையானவர்களென்று) அவர்கள் (பொய்யாகக்) கற்பனை செய்து கொண்டிருந்தவைகள் அவர்களை விட்டும் மறைந்துவிடும்.

Look! How they lie against themselves! But the (lie) which they invented will disappear from them.

(நபியே!) மேலும், அவர்களில் சிலர் உம்பால் (உமது உபதேசங்களை) செவியேற்பவர்கள் போன்று நடிப்பார்கள், மேலும், அவர்கள் அதனை விளங்கிக் கொள்ளாதிருக்கும்படி, அவர்களுடைய இதயங்களில் திரைகளையும், அவர்களுடைய காதுகளில் (பயனுள்ளதைக்கேட்காத) செவிடையும் நாம் ஏற்படுத்தி விட்டோம், இன்னும், அத்தாட்சிகளை (கண்கூடாக)க் கண்டாலும், அவற்றை அவர்கள் நம்பவேமாட்டார்கள், (நபியே!) முடிவாக அவர்கள் உம்மிடம் வந்தால் உம்முடன் வாதாடுவார்கள், “இவை முன்னோர்களின் கட்டுக்கதைகளேயன்றி (வேறு) இல்லை” என்றே நிராகரித்துக் கொண்டிருப்போர் கூறுவார்கள்.

And of them there are some who listen to you; but We have set veils on their hearts, so they understand it not, and deafness in their ears; and even if they see every one of the Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) they will not believe therein; to the point that when they come to you to argue with you, the disbelievers say: "These are nothing but tales of the men of old."

அன்றியும், அவர்கள் (மற்றவர்களையும்) இக்(குர் ஆனை கேட்ப)திலிருந்து தடுக்கிறார்கள், தாங்களும் இதைவிட்டு தூரமாகிக்கொள்கிறார்கள், (இதனால்) அவர்கள் தங்களையே அல்லாது வேறு எவரையும் நாசமாக்கிக் கொள்வதில்லை, இன்னும் (இதனை) அவர்கள் உணர்ந்து கொள்வதில்லை.

And they prevent others from him (from following Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) and they themselves keep away from him, and (by doing so) they destroy not but their ownselves, yet they perceive (it) not.

(நரக) நெருப்பின் மீது அவர்கள் நிறுத்தப்படும்பொழுது (நபியே) நீர் (அவர்களைப்) பார்ப்பீராயின், “நாங்கள் (உலகத்திற்குத்) திரு(ம்ப அனு)ப்பப்பட வேண்டுமே! (அவ்வாறாயின்) எங்கள் இரட்சகனின் வசனங்களை நாங்கள் பொய்யாக்கவும் மாட்டோமே, இன்னும், விசுவாசிகளில் நாங்கள் ஆகிவிடுவோமே” என்று அவர்கள் கூறுவார்கள்.

If you could but see when they will be held over the (Hell) Fire! They will say: "Would that we were but sent back (to the world)! Then we would not deny the Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, revelations, etc.) of our Lord, and we would be of the believers!"

அவ்வாறல்ல! இதற்கு முன்னர் அவர்கள் (தங்களுக்குள்) மறைத்து வைத்துக்கொண்டிருந்ததே அவர்களுக்கு வெளிப்பட்டு விட்டது, (ஏனென்றால்) அவர்கள் (இவ்வுலகத்திற்குத்) திரும்ப அனுப்பப்பட்ட போதிலும், எதைவிட்டுத் தடுக்கப்பட்டார்களோ அதன் பக்கமே திரும்புவார்கள், இன்னும், நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள், பொய்யர்களாவர்.

Nay, it has become manifest to them what they had been concealing before. But if they were returned (to the world), they would certainly revert to that which they were forbidden. And indeed they are liars.

அன்றியும், “இது நம்முடைய இவ்வுலக வாழ்வைத் தவிர (இறந்தபின் வேறு வாழக்கை) இல்லை, (இறந்த பின்) நாம் (உயிர்ப்பிக்கப்பட்டு) எழுப்பப்படுகிறவர்களுமல்லர்” என்றும் அவர்கள் கூறுகின்றனர்.

And they said: "There is no (other life) but our (present) life of this world, and never shall we be resurrected (on the Day of Resurrection)."

மேலும், அவர்கள் (உயிர்ப்பிக்கப்பட்டுத்) தங்கள் இரட்சகன் முன் நிறுத்தப்படும் பொழுது (நபியே! அவர்களை) நீர் காண்பீராயின், (அது சமயம் அவர்களிடம், “விசாரணை நாளாகிய) இது உண்மையல்லவா?” என்று அவன் கேட்பான், அ(தற்க)வர்கள், “ஆம்! எங்கள் இரட்சகன் மீது ஆணையாக (உண்மை தான்) எனக் கூறுவார்கள், அ(தற்க)வன், (“இதனை) நீங்கள் நிராகரித்துக் கொண்டிருந்ததன் காரணமாக (நரகத்தின்) வேதனையை நீங்கள் சுவைத்துப் பாருங்கள்” என்று கூறுவான்.

If you could but see when they will be held (brought and made to stand) in front of their Lord! He will say: "Is not this (Resurrection and the taking of the accounts) the truth?" They will say: "Yes, by our Lord!" He will then say: "So taste you the torment because you used not to believe."

(ஆகவே மறுமையில்) அல்லாஹ்வைச் சந்திப்பதைப் பொய்யாக்கினார்களே அத்தகையோர் நிச்சயமாக நஷ்டமடைந்தவர்களாகி விட்டனர், முடிவாக, அவர்களுக்கு மறுமை நாள் திடீரென வந்துவிட்டால், அவர்களோ தங்கள் பாவச்சுமைகளைத் தங்கள் முதுகுகளின் மீது சுமந்தவர்களாக “அ(வ்வுலகத்)தில் நாங்கள் செய்யத்தவறி விட்டவைகளின் மீது, எங்களுக்கு ஏற்பட்ட கைசேதமே!” என்று கூறுவார்கள், தெரிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள், அவர்கள் சுமந்து கொண்டிருப்பது மிகக் கெட்டதாகிவிட்டது.

They indeed are losers who denied their Meeting with Allâh,¹ until all of a sudden, the Hour (signs of death) is on them, and they say: "Alas for us that we gave no thought to it," while they will bear their burdens on their backs; and evil indeed are the burdens that they will bear!

1. Narrated Abu Mûsâ رضي الله عنه: The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, "Whoever loves the Meeting with Allâh, Allâh too loves the Meeting with him; and whoever hates the Meeting with Allâh, Allâh too hates the Meeting with him." (Sahih Al-Bukhâri, Vol.8, Hadîth No.515).

மேலும், இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கை விளையாட்டும் வீணுமேயன்றி (வேறு) இல்லை. இன்னும், பயபக்தியுடையோருக்கு நிச்சயமாக மறுமையின் வீடாகிறது மேலானதாகும், நீங்கள் (இதனை) அறிந்து கொள்ளமாட்டீர்களா?

And the life of this world is nothing but play and amusement. But far better is the house in the Hereafter for those who are Al-Muttaqûn (the pious - See V.2:2). Will you not then understand?

(நபியே! உம்மைப் பொய்யரென) நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் கூறிக்கொண்டிருப்பது உமக்குக் கவலையைத் தருகின்றது என்பதைத் திட்டமாக நாம் அறிவோம், ஆகவே, நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் உம்மைப் பொய்யாக்கவில்லை, எனினும், அந்த அநியாயக்காரர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் வசனங்களையே பொய்யாக்கி மறுக்கின்றனர்.

We know indeed the grief which their words cause you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): it is not you that they deny, but it is the Verses (the Qur’ân) of Allâh that the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers) deny.

(நபியே!) திட்டமாக உமக்கு முன் (நம்முடைய) தூதர்களும்(இவ்வாறே) பொய்யாக்கப்பட்டனர், தாம் பொய்யாக்கப்பட்டதன் மீதும், துன்புறுத்தப்பட்டதன் மீதும், அவர்களுக்கு நம்முடைய உதவி வரும் வரையில் அவர்கள் (உறுதியோடு) பொறுத்துக் கொண்டிருந்தனர், அல்லாஹ்வுடைய வார்த்தை (பேச்சுக்)களை மாற்றுகிறவர் எவரும் இல்லை, (நம்) தூதர்களின் (இத்தகைய) செய்தி திட்டமாக உம்மிடம் வந்துமிருக்கிறது.

Verily, (many) Messengers were denied before you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), but with patience they bore the denial, and they were hurt; till Our Help reached them, and none can alter the Words (Decisions) of Allâh. Surely there has reached you the information (news) about the Messengers (before you).

இன்னும் (நபியே!) அவர்களுடைய புறக்கணிப்பு உமக்குப் பெரிதாகத் தோன்றினால், பூமியில் (அதன் ஆழத்தில் செல்ல) ஒரு சுரங்கத்தையோ அல்லது வானத்தில் (ஏறிச்செல்ல) ஒரு ஏணியையோ தேடிக் கொள்வதற்கும், பின்னர் (அவர்கள் விருப்பப்படி) ஓர் அத்தாட்சியை நீர் அவர்களுக்குக்கொண்டு வருவதற்கும் நீர் சக்திபெற்றால்-(அவ்வாறு செய்வீராக! அப்போதும் அவர்கள் உம்மை நிராகரித்துக் கொண்டுதானிருப்பார்கள்) இன்னும், அல்லாஹ் நாடினால் அவர்களை நேர் வழியின்மீது ஒன்று சேர்த்து விடுவான், ஆகவே, நிச்சயமாக அறிவில்லாதவர்களில் (ஒருவராக) நீர் ஆகிவிட வேண்டாம்.

If their aversion (from you, O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم and from that with which you have been sent) is hard on you, (and you cannot be patient of their harm to you), then if you were able to seek a tunnel in the earth or a ladder to the sky, so that you may bring them a sign (and you cannot do it, so be patient). And had Allâh willed, He could have gathered them together (all) on true guidance, so be not you one of those who are Al-Jâhilûn (the ignorant).

(உமதழைப்பிற்கு) பதில் கூறுபவரெல்லாம் (உமக்குச்) செவியேற்கிறார்களே, அவர்கள் தாம், (இவர்களோ செவியேற்க முடியாத இறந்தவர்களைப் போலவேயிருக்கின்றனர்) இன்னும் இறந்தவர்கள் - அவர்களை (மறுமையில்தான்) அல்லாஹ் (உயிர் கொடுத்து) எழுப்புவான், பின்னர் அவனிடமே அவர்கள் மீட்டப்படுவார்கள்.

It is only those who listen (to the Message of Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), will respond (benefit from it), but as for the dead (i.e. disbelievers), Allâh will raise them up, then to Him they will be returned (for their recompense).

“(நம் விருப்பப் பிரகாரம்) அவருடைய இரட்சகனிடமிருந்து அவர்மீது ஓர் அத்தாட்சி இறக்கப்பட்டிருக்கக்கூடாதா?” என்றும் அவர்கள் கேட்கின்றனர், (அதற்கு நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக!” (அத்தகைய) ஓர் அத்தாட்சியை இறக்கி வைக்க நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் சக்தியுடையவன், (அவ்வாறு இறக்கியும் வைத்துள்ளான்.) எனினும், அவர்களில் பெரும்பாலோர் (அதனை) அறியமாட்டார்கள்.

And they said: "Why is not a sign sent down to him from his Lord?" Say: "Allâh is certainly Able to send down a sign, but most of them know not."

மேலும், பூமியில் ஊர்ந்து திரிகிறதும், தம்முடைய இரு இறக்கைகளால் (ஆகாயத்தில்) பறக்கக்கூடிய பறவையும், உங்களைப்போன்ற (ஜீவனுள்ள) இனங்களேயன்றி வேறில்லை, (இவைகளில்) எதையும் (நம்முடைய பதிவுப்) புத்தகத்தில் (-லவ்ஹுல் மஹ்ஃபூலில்) குறிப்பிடாது நாம் விட்டுவிடவில்லை, பின்னர், (ஒரு நாளில் யாவரும்) தம் இரட்சகனின் பக்கம் ஒன்று திரட்டப்படுவர்.

There is not a moving (living) creature on earth, nor a bird that flies with its two wings, but are communities like you. We have neglected nothing in the Book, then unto their Lord they (all) shall be gathered.

இன்னும், நம்முடைய வசனங்களைப் பொய்யாக்குகின்றனரே அவர்கள், இருள்களில் (தட்டழியும்) செவிடர்களாகவும், ஊமையர்களாகவும் இருக்கின்றனர், அல்லாஹ் எவரை நாடுகிறானோ அவரைத் தவறான வழியிற் செல்ல விட்டு விடுகின்றான், இன்னும், எவரை அவன் நாடுகிறானோ அவரை நேரான வழியில் ஆக்குகின்றான்.

Those who reject Our Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) are deaf and dumb in the darkness. Allâh sends astray whom He wills and He guides on the Straight Path whom He wills.

(நபியே! அவர்களிடம்) நீர் கூறுவீராக! “உங்களுக்கு அல்லாஹ்வுடைய வேதனை வந்து விட்டால், அல்லது உங்களுக்கு மறுமைநாள் வந்து விட்டால், அதிலிருந்து உங்களைக் காப்பாற்றிக் கொள்ள நீங்கள் உண்மையாளர்களாக இருந்தால் அல்லாஹ் அல்லாத (இ)வைகளையா நீங்கள் (உங்கள் உதவிக்கு) அழைப்பீர்கள்?” என்பதை நீங்கள் எனக்குத் தெரிவியுங்கள்.

Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Tell me if Allâh’s Torment comes upon you, or the Hour comes upon you, would you then call upon any one other than Allâh? (Reply) if you are truthful!"
