56. Al-Waqi'ah

ஆகவே, இச்செய்தியை நீங்கள் அலட்சியம் செய்பவர்களாக இருக்கின்றீர்களா?

Is it such a talk (this Qur’ân) that you (disbelievers) deny?

(அல்லாஹ் அளித்துள்ளவற்றுக்கு) உங்கள் நன்றியை நிச்சயமாக நீங்கள் பொய்ப்படுத்துவதையே (பிரதியாக) ஆக்குகின்றீர்களா.

And instead (of thanking Allâh) for the provision He gives you, you deny (Him by disbelief)!

(உங்களில் மரணிக்கும் ஒருவரின் உயிர்-) அது தொண்டைக் குழியை அடைந்து விடுமானால்-

Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat?

அந்நேரத்தில் நீங்கள் (சகராத்- மரணவேதனையில் சிக்கித்தவிப்பதை) பார்க்கிறீர்கள்.

And you at the moment are looking on,

நாமோ உங்களைவிட அவருக்கு மிகச் சமீபாக இருக்கின்றோம், எனினும் நீங்கள் பார்ப்பதில்லை.

But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, (Tafsir At-Tabarî)

ஆகவே நீங்கள் (யாருடைய) அதிகாரத்திற்கு(ம்) கட்டுப்படாதவர்களாக இருந்தால்-

Then why do you not - if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment) -

நீங்கள் உண்மையானவர்களாக இருந்தால், அ(வருடைய உயிரான)தை நீங்கள் அவரின் பால் மீளவைத்திருக்கலாமே?

Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful?

ஆகவே, (அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு) நெருக்கமாக்கப் பட்டவர்களில் உள்ளவராக அவர் இருந்தால்-

Then, if he (the dying person) be of the Muqarrabûn (those brought near to Allâh),

அப்போது அவருக்கு சுகமும், நல்லுணவும், அருட்கொடையுடைய சுவனமும் உண்டு.

(There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of Delights (Paradise).

அன்றியும், அவர் வலப்புறத்தாரில் உள்ளவராக இருந்தால்-

And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand,

(அவரிடம்,) ”வலப்புறத்தாரிலிருந்து உமக்குச் சாந்தி உண்டாவதாக!” (என்று கூறப்படும்).

Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allâh) for those on the right Hand.

அன்றியும் அவர் வழி கெட்டோரான (இவ்வேதத்தைப்) பொய்யாக்குகின்றவர்களில் உள்ளவராக இருந்தால்-

But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islâmic Monotheism),

கொதித்து அதன் உச்சத்தை அடைந்துவிட்ட நீரிலிருந்தே (அவருக்கு) விருந்துண்டு-

Then for him is an entertainment with boiling water.

இன்னும், நரகத்தில் நுழைவித்தலும் உண்டு.

And burning in Hell-fire.

நிச்சயமாக இது (மிக்க) உறுதியான உண்மையாகும்.

Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty.

ஆகவே (நபியே!) மகத்தான உமதிரட்சகனின் பெயரை(க்கூறி) துதி செய்வீராக.

So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great.
