وَإِن كَذَّبُوكَ فَقُل لِّى عَمَلِى وَلَكُمْ عَمَلُكُمْ ۖ أَنتُم بَرِيٓـُٔونَ مِمَّآ أَعْمَلُ وَأَنَا۠ بَرِىٓءٌ مِّمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ
இன்னும், (நபியே) உம்மை அவர்கள் பொய்ப்படுத்தினால், (நீர் அவர்களிடம்), “என் செயல் (அதன் பலன்) எனக்குரியது, (அவ்வாறே) உங்கள் செயல் (அதன் பலன்) உங்களுக்குரியது, நான் செய்வதிலிருந்து நீங்கள் நீங்கியவர்கள்; நீங்கள் செய்வதிலிருந்து நானும் நீங்கியவன்” என்று கூறுவீராக!
And if they belie you, say: "For me are my deeds and for you are your deeds! You are innocent of what I do, and I am innocent of what you do!"
وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَسْتَمِعُونَ إِلَيْكَ ۚ أَفَأَنتَ تُسْمِعُ ٱلصُّمَّ وَلَوْ كَانُوا۟ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ
மேலும், உமக்கு செவியேற்போரும் அவர்களில் இருக்கின்றனர், செவிடர்களை-அவர்கள் (எதனையும்) விளங்கிக் கொள்ள முடியாதவர்களாக இருந்தாலும் நீர் செவியேற்கச் செய்வீரா?
And among them are some who listen to you, but can you make the deaf to hear - even though they apprehend not?
وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَنظُرُ إِلَيْكَ ۚ أَفَأَنتَ تَهْدِى ٱلْعُمْىَ وَلَوْ كَانُوا۟ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ
இன்னும், உம்மைப் பார்ப்போரும் அவர்களில் (சிலர்) இருக்கின்றனர், குருடர்களுக்கு அவர்கள் பார்க்காதவர்களாக இருப்பினும் நீர் வழிகாட்டுவீரா?
And among them are some who look at you, but can you guide the blind - even though they see not?
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَظْلِمُ ٱلنَّاسَ شَيْـًٔا وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱلنَّاسَ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ
நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் மனிதர்களுக்கு கொஞ்சமும் அநீதமிழைக்கமாட்டான், எனினும் மனிதர்கள் தமக்குத் தாமே அநியாயம் செய்து கொள்கின்றனர்.
Truly! Allâh wrongs not mankind in aught; but mankind wrong themselves.
وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ كَأَن لَّمْ يَلْبَثُوٓا۟ إِلَّا سَاعَةً مِّنَ ٱلنَّهَارِ يَتَعَارَفُونَ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ قَدْ خَسِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِلِقَآءِ ٱللَّهِ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُهْتَدِينَ
மேலும், அவர்களை அவன் ஒன்று திரட்டும் நாளில் (ஒரு) பகல் சொற்ப நேரத்தைத்தவிர (இவ்வுலகில்) தாங்கள் தங்கவில்லை என்பதைப் போன்று (அவர்கள் எண்ணுவதுடன்) தங்களுக்கிடையில் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் அறிமுகமாகிக் கொள்வார்கள், அல்லாஹ்வின் சந்திப்பைப் பொய்யாக்கியோர் திட்டமாக (அந்நாளில்) நஷ்டமடைந்தே விட்டார்கள், அவர்கள் நேர்வழி பெற்றவர்களாகவும் இருக்கவில்லை.
And on the Day when He shall gather (resurrect) them together, (it will be) as if they had not stayed (in the life of this world and graves) but an hour of a day. They will recognise each other. Ruined indeed will be those who denied the Meeting with Allâh, and were not guided.
وَإِمَّا نُرِيَنَّكَ بَعْضَ ٱلَّذِى نَعِدُهُمْ أَوْ نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ فَإِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ ثُمَّ ٱللَّهُ شَهِيدٌ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفْعَلُونَ
மேலும் (நபியே!) நாம் அவர்களுக்கு வாக்களித்திருக்கும் (தண்டனைகளில்) சிலவற்றை (உம்முடைய வாழ்நாளிலேயே) நாம் உமக்குக் காண்பித்தாலும், அல்லது (நீர் பார்ப்பதற்கு முன்) நாம் உம்மைக் கைப்பற்றிக் கொண்டாலும் (எவ்வாறாயினும்,) அவர்களுடைய திரும்புதல் நம் பாலேயாகும், பின்னர் அவர்கள் செய்பவற்றிற்கு அல்லாஹ் சாட்சியாளனாவான்.
Whether We show you (in your lifetime, O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) some of what We promise them (the torment), or We cause you to die - still unto Us is their return, and moreover, Allâh is Witness over what they used to do.
وَلِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ رَّسُولٌ ۖ فَإِذَا جَآءَ رَسُولُهُمْ قُضِىَ بَيْنَهُم بِٱلْقِسْطِ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ
ஓவ்வொரு சமூகத்தினருக்கும் (நம்மால் அனுப்பப்பட்ட) ஒரு தூதர் உண்டு, எனவே, அவர்களுடைய தூதர் (அவர்களிடம்) வந்துவிடும்பொழுது அவர்களுக்கிடையில் நீதமாகவே தீர்ப்பளிக்கப்படும், மேலும், அவர்கள் அநியாயம் செய்யப்பட மாட்டார்கள்.
And for every Ummah (a community or a nation) there is a Messenger; when their Messenger comes, the matter will be judged between them with justice, and they will not be wronged.
وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَـٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ
“நீங்கள் (மறுமை நாள் பற்றிக் கூறுவதில்) உண்மையாளர்களாக இருந்தால் இந்த வாக்குறுதி எப்பொழுது (நடந்தேறும்?” என்று நிராகரிப்போராகிய) அவர்கள் கேட்கின்றனர்.
And they say: "When will be this promise (the torment or the Day of Resurrection), if you speak the truth?"
قُل لَّآ أَمْلِكُ لِنَفْسِى ضَرًّا وَلَا نَفْعًا إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ۗ لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلٌ ۚ إِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمْ فَلَا يَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ سَاعَةً ۖ وَلَا يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ
(அதற்கு நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக! “ அல்லாஹ் நாடியதையன்றி எனக்கு யாதொரு இடரை நீக்கிக் கொள்வதையும், யாதொரு பலனை (காத்துக் கொள்வதையும் நான் சக்தி பெறமாட்டேன், ஒவ்வொரு சமுதாயத்தாருக்கும் ஒரு (குறிப்பிட்ட) தவணையுண்டு, அவர்களுடைய தவணை வந்துவிட்டால் ஒருநாழிகை பிந்தவுமாட்டார்கள், முந்தவுமாட்டார்கள்.
Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "I have no power over any harm or profit to myself except what Allâh may will. For every Ummah (a community or a nation), there is a term appointed; when their term comes, neither can they delay it nor can they advance it an hour (or a moment)." (Tafsir Al-Qurtubî).
قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَتَىٰكُمْ عَذَابُهُۥ بَيَـٰتًا أَوْ نَهَارًا مَّاذَا يَسْتَعْجِلُ مِنْهُ ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ
நீர் கூறுவீராக! “அவனுடைய வேதனை இரவிலோ அல்லது பகலிலோ உங்களிடம் வந்தடைந்து விடுமானால் (நீங்கள் அதனை தடுத்துவிட முடியுமா? என்பதை) எனக்குக் கூறுங்கள்” (நபியே!) இக் குற்றவாளிகள் (எப்பொழுது வரும் என்று கேட்டு) அவனிடமிருந்து எதை அவசரப்படுகின்றனர்?”
Say: "Tell me, if His torment should come to you by night or by day, which portion thereof would the Mujrimûn (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, criminals) hasten on ?"
أَثُمَّ إِذَا مَا وَقَعَ ءَامَنتُم بِهِۦٓ ۚ ءَآلْـَٔـٰنَ وَقَدْ كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
“(அவசரப்பட்டுக் கொண்டிருக்கும்) அது நிகழ்ந்து விட்டதன் பின்னரா அதனை நீங்கள் நம்புவீர்கள்” நீங்கள் அவசரப்பட்டு கொண்டிருந்த நிலையில் (நிகழ்ந்துவிட்ட அதனை) இப்போது தானா நம்பிக்கை கொள்கிறீர்கள்?” என்று அப்போது கூறப்படும்.
Is it then that when it has actually befallen, you will believe in it? What! Now (you believe)? And you used (aforetime) to hasten it on!"
ثُمَّ قِيلَ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ ذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلْخُلْدِ هَلْ تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْسِبُونَ
பிறகு அநியாயம் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தவர்களிடம் “நிலையான (இவ்)வேதனையைச் சுவைத்துக் கொண்டிருங்கள், நீங்கள் சம்பாதித்துக் கொண்டிருந்ததைத் தவிர (வேறு எதற்கும்) நீங்கள் கூலி கொடுக்கப்படுகிறீர்களா? “ என்றும் கேட்கப்படும்.
Then it will be said to them who wronged themselves: "Taste you the everlasting torment! Are you recompensed (aught) save what you used to earn?"
۞ وَيَسْتَنۢبِـُٔونَكَ أَحَقٌّ هُوَ ۖ قُلْ إِى وَرَبِّىٓ إِنَّهُۥ لَحَقٌّ ۖ وَمَآ أَنتُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ
(நபியே!) அது உண்மைதானா? என்று தெரிவிக்குமாறு அவர்கள் உம்மிடம் செய்தி கேட்கின்றனர், (அதற்கு) நீர் கூறுவீராக “ஆம்! என் இரட்சகன் மீது சத்தியமாக நிச்சயமாக அது உண்மைதான், (மண்ணோடு மண்ணாக ஆகிய பின் மீண்டும் உங்களைத் திருப்பிக் கொண்டு வருவதிலிருந்து அல்லாஹ்வை) நீங்கள் இயலாதவனாக ஆக்கிவிடக் கூடியவர்களுமல்ல.
And they ask you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) to inform them (saying): "Is it true (i.e. the torment and the establishment of the Hour - the Day of Resurrection)?" Say: "Yes! By my Lord! It is the very truth! and you cannot escape it!"
وَلَوْ أَنَّ لِكُلِّ نَفْسٍ ظَلَمَتْ مَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ لَٱفْتَدَتْ بِهِۦ ۗ وَأَسَرُّوا۟ ٱلنَّدَامَةَ لَمَّا رَأَوُا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ ۖ وَقُضِىَ بَيْنَهُم بِٱلْقِسْطِ ۚ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ
மேலும், அநியாயம் செய்த ஒவ்வோர் ஆத்மாவிடமும் உலகத்தில் உள்ள (பொருள்) யாவும் இருந்த போதிலும் அவை யாவையுமே (அல்லாஹ்வின்) தண்டனையிலிருந்து தன்னை நீக்கிக் கொள்ள) ஈடாகக் கொடுத்துவிடும், மேலும், அவர்கள் தண்டனையைக் கண்கூடாகப் பார்க்கின்றபொழுது கைசேதத்தை (உள்ளூர) அவர்கள் மறைத்துக்கொள்வர், (அந்நாளில்) அவர்களிடையே நீதியாகவே தீர்ப்பளிக்கப்படும், அவர்கள் அநியாயம் செய்யப்படவுமாட்டார்கள்.
And if every person who had wronged (by disbelieving in Allâh and by worshipping others besides Allâh) possessed all that is on the earth and sought to ransom himself therewith (it will not be accepted), and they would feel in their hearts regret when they see the torment, and they will be judged with justice, and no wrong will be done unto them.1

أَلَآ إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ أَلَآ إِنَّ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
(மனிதர்களே) வானங்கள் மற்றும் பூமியிலுள்ளவை நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே உரியன என்பதை அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள், நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வுடைய வாக்குறுதி உண்மையானதுதான் என்பதையும் அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள், எனினும் அவர்களில் அதிகமானோர் (இதனை) அறியமாட்டார்கள்.
No doubt, surely, all that is in the heavens and the earth belongs to Allâh. No doubt, surely, Allâh’s Promise is true. But most of them know not.
هُوَ يُحْىِۦ وَيُمِيتُ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
அவனே (உங்களுக்கு) உயிர் கொடுக்கிறான், அவனே (உங்களை) மரணிக்கச் செய்கிறான், (பின்னர், அவனிடமே (மறுமையில்) நீங்கள் திருப்பப்படுவீர்கள்.
It is He Who gives life, and causes death, and to Him you (all) shall return.
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ قَدْ جَآءَتْكُم مَّوْعِظَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَشِفَآءٌ لِّمَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
மனிதர்களே! உங்கள் இரட்சகனிடமிருந்து திட்டமாக ஒரு நல்லுபதேசமும் (உங்கள்) இதயங்களிலுள்ளவற்றைக் குணப்படுத்துவதும்) உங்களுக்கு வந்துவிட்டது, மேலும், (அது) விசுவாசங் கொண்டவர்களுக்கு வழிகாட்டியாகவும், அருளாகவும் இருக்கிறது.
O mankind! There has come to you a good advice from your Lord (i.e. the Qur’ân, enjoining all that is good and forbidding all that is evil), and a healing for that (disease of ignorance, doubt, hypocrisy and differences) which is in your breasts, - a guidance and a mercy (explaining lawful and unlawful things) for the believers.
قُلْ بِفَضْلِ ٱللَّهِ وَبِرَحْمَتِهِۦ فَبِذَٰلِكَ فَلْيَفْرَحُوا۟ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ
(அது) அல்லாஹ்வின் பேரருளைக் கொண்டும், அவனுடைய அருளைக் கொண்டுமுள்ளதாகும், ஆகவே, அதைக்கொண்டு அவர்கள் சந்தோஷமடையட்டும், இது அவர்கள் சேகரித்து வைத்திருப்பவற்றைவிட மிகச் சிறந்தது” என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக!
Say: "In the Bounty of Allâh, and in His Mercy (i.e. Islâm and the Qur’ân); - therein let them rejoice." That is better than what (the wealth) they amass.
قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُم مَّآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ لَكُم مِّن رِّزْقٍ فَجَعَلْتُم مِّنْهُ حَرَامًا وَحَلَـٰلًا قُلْ ءَآللَّهُ أَذِنَ لَكُمْ ۖ أَمْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ تَفْتَرُونَ
(நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக! “உங்களுக்காக அல்லாஹ் இறக்கி வைத்த உணவு வகைகளை நீங்கள் கவனித்தீர்களா? அவற்றில் சிலவற்றை ஆகாதவையென்றும் சிலவற்றை ஆகுமானவையென்றும் நீங்கள் ஆக்கிக் கொண்டீர்கள்” (இவ்வாறு செய்ய) “அல்லாஹ்தான் உங்களுக்கு அனுமதி அளித்திருக்கின்றானா, அல்லது அல்லாஹ்வின்மீது (பொய்யைக்) கற்பனை செய்கிறீர்களா?” என்று நீர் கேட்பீராக!
Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم to these polytheists): "Tell me, what provision Allâh has sent down to you! And you have made of it lawful and unlawful." Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Has Allâh permitted you (to do so), or do you invent a lie against Allâh?"
وَمَا ظَنُّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلْكَذِبَ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَشْكُرُونَ
“அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது பொய்யைக் கற்பனை செய்கின்றார்களே அவர்களின் எண்ணம் மறுமை நாளைப்பற்றி என்ன? (அவர்கள் தண்டிக்கப்பட மாட்டார்களென எண்ணிக் கொண்டனரா?) நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ், மனிதர்கள் மீது பேரருளுடையோனாக இருக்கிறான், எனினும், அவர்களில் அதிகமானோர் நன்றி செலுத்துவதில்லை.
And what think those who invent a lie against Allâh, on the Day of Resurrection? [i.e. Do they think that they will be forgiven and excused! Nay, they will have an eternal punishment in the Fire of Hell]. Truly, Allâh is full of Bounty to mankind, but most of them are ungrateful.
وَمَا تَكُونُ فِى شَأْنٍ وَمَا تَتْلُوا۟ مِنْهُ مِن قُرْءَانٍ وَلَا تَعْمَلُونَ مِنْ عَمَلٍ إِلَّا كُنَّا عَلَيْكُمْ شُهُودًا إِذْ تُفِيضُونَ فِيهِ ۚ وَمَا يَعْزُبُ عَن رَّبِّكَ مِن مِّثْقَالِ ذَرَّةٍ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَلَآ أَصْغَرَ مِن ذَٰلِكَ وَلَآ أَكْبَرَ إِلَّا فِى كِتَـٰبٍ مُّبِينٍ
எக்காரியத்திலும் நீர் இருப்பதில்லை, இந்தக் குர் ஆனிலிருந்து நீங்கள் ஓதுவதுமில்லை, செயல் எதையும் நீங்கள் செய்வதுமில்லை, நீங்கள் அதில் ஈடுபட்டிருக்கும்பொழுது உங்கள் மீது நாம் பிரசன்னமானவர்களாக இருந்தே தவிர இன்னும், பூமியிலோ, வானத்திலோ உள்ளவற்றில் ஓர் அணுவளவும் (நபியே) உமதிரட்சகனுக்குத் தெரியாமல் மறைந்து விடுவதில்லை, இன்னும், இவற்றைவிடச் சிறிதோ, பெரிதோ (எதுவாயினும்) அவனுடைய தெளிவான (லவ்ஹுல் மஹ்பூல் எனும்) பதிவுப் புத்தகத்தில் (பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டு) இருந்தேயல்லாமல் இல்லை.
Neither you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) do any deed nor recite any portion of the Qur’ân, - nor you (mankind) do any deed (good or evil) but We are Witness thereof, when you are doing it. And nothing is hidden from your Lord (so much as) the weight of an atom (or small ant) on the earth or in the heaven. Not what is less than that or what is greater than that but is (written) in a Clear Record. (Tafsir At-Tabarî).
أَلَآ إِنَّ أَوْلِيَآءَ ٱللَّهِ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ
(விசுவாசிகளே!) அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள், நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வின் நேசர்கள்- அவர்களுக்கு யாதொரு பயமுமில்லை, அவர்கள் கவலையும் அடைய மாட்டார்கள்.
No doubt! Verily, the Auliyâ’ of Allâh [i.e. those who believe in the Oneness of Allâh and fear Allâh much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which he has forbidden), and love Allâh much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)], no fear shall come upon them nor shall they grieve.1

Narrated Abu Sa‘îd Al-Khudrî رضي الله عنه: Allâh’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم said, "When the funeral is ready and the men carry it on their shoulders, if the deceased was righteous, it will say: ‘Present me (hurriedly),’ and if he was not righteous, it will say: ‘Woe to it (me)! Where are they taking it (me)?’ Its voice is heard by everything except man, and if he heard it, he would fall unconscious." (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol.2,Hadith No.400).
ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَكَانُوا۟ يَتَّقُونَ
அவர்கள் எத்தகையோரென்றால் அல்லாஹ்வை உண்மையாகவே விசுவாசித்து (அவனைப்) பயந்தவர்களாகவும் இருப்பார்கள்.
Those who believed (in the Oneness of Allâh - Islâmic Monotheism), and used to fear Allâh much (by abstaining from evil deeds and sins and by doing righteous deeds).
لَهُمُ ٱلْبُشْرَىٰ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَفِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۚ لَا تَبْدِيلَ لِكَلِمَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ
அவர்களுக்கு இவ்வுலக வாழ்விலும் மறுமையிலும் நன்மாராயமுண்டு, (உயர், பதவிகளை அவர்களுக்கு வழங்குவதாகக் கூறியிருக்கும்) அல்லாஹ்வுடைய வாக்குறுதிகளில் எவ்வித மாற்றமுமில்லை, இதுவே மகத்தான வெற்றியாகும்.
For them are glad tidings, in the life of the present world1 (i.e. through a righteous dream seen by the person himself or shown to others), and in the Hereafter. No change can there be in the Words of Allâh. This is indeed the supreme success.

(Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol.9,Hadith No.119). b) Narrated Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه : Allâh’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "The (good) dream of a faithful believer is a part of the forty-six parts of An-Nubuwwah (Prophethood)." (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol.9,Hadith No. 117).
وَلَا يَحْزُنكَ قَوْلُهُمْ ۘ إِنَّ ٱلْعِزَّةَ لِلَّهِ جَمِيعًا ۚ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
இன்னும் (நபியே! உம்மை இழிவாகக் கூறும்) அவர்களுடைய கூற்று(கள்) உம்மைக் கவலைப்படுத்த வேண்டாம், நிச்சயமாக கண்ணியம் (அது) அனைத்தும் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே உரியது அவனே செவியேற்கிறவன், (யாவையும்) நன்கறிகிறவன்.
And let not their speech grieve you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), for all power and honour belong to Allâh. He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.
أَلَآ إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ وَمَا يَتَّبِعُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ شُرَكَآءَ ۚ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّ وَإِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَخْرُصُونَ
வானங்களில் இருப்பவை மற்றும் பூமியில் இருப்பவை நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே உரியன! என்பதை நீங்கள் அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள், (இவ்வாறிருக்க) அல்லாஹ்வையன்றி இணையாளர்களை (தெய்வங்கள் என அழைப்போர் எதைப் பின்பற்றுகின்றனர்? (வீண்) யூகத்தையன்றி வேறெதையும் அவர்கள் பின்பற்றுவதில்லை, அன்றியும் அவர்கள் வெறும் அனுமானங்கள் செய்பவர்களே அன்றி இல்லை.
No doubt! Verily, to Allâh belongs whosoever is in the heavens and whosoever is in the earth. And those who worship and invoke others besides Allâh, in fact they follow not (Allâh’s so-called) partners, they follow only a conjecture and they only invent lies.
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّيْلَ لِتَسْكُنُوا۟ فِيهِ وَٱلنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَسْمَعُونَ
அவன் எத்தகையோனென்றால் இரவை உங்களுக்காக-அதில் நீங்கள் அமைதி பெறுவதற்காகவும், பகலை பார்வைக்குரிய (பிரகாசமான)தாகவும் ஆக்கினான், (அவனுடைய வசனங்களுக்குச்) செவிசாய்க்கும் சமுதாயத்தவர்க்கு நிச்சயமாக இதில் பல அத்தாட்சிகள் இருக்கின்றன.
He it is Who has appointed for you the night that you may rest therein, and the day to make things visible (to you). Verily, in this are Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) for a people who listen (i.e. those who think deeply).
قَالُوا۟ ٱتَّخَذَ ٱللَّهُ وَلَدًا ۗ سُبْحَـٰنَهُۥ ۖ هُوَ ٱلْغَنِىُّ ۖ لَهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ إِنْ عِندَكُم مِّن سُلْطَـٰنٍۭ بِهَـٰذَآ ۚ أَتَقُولُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
அல்லாஹ் குமாரனை எடுத்துக் கொண்டான் என அவர்கள் கூறுகின்றனர், அவனோ (இக் கூற்றிலிருந்து) மிகப் பரிசுத்தமானவன், அவன் தேவையற்றவன், வானங்களிலுள்ளவையும் பூமியிலுள்ளவையும் அவனுக்கே உரியன, (அவனுக்கு மக்கள் உண்டென்று கூறும்) இதற்கு உங்களிடத்தில் எத்தகைய சான்றும் இல்லை, நீங்கள் அறிந்துகொள்ளாததை அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது பொய்யாகக் கூறுகிறீர்களா?
They (Jews, Christians and pagans) say: "Allâh has begotten a son (children)." Glory is to Him! He is Rich (Free of all needs). His is all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. No warrant you have for this. Do you say against Allâh what you know not.1

قُلْ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلْكَذِبَ لَا يُفْلِحُونَ
“நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வின்மீது (இவ்வாறு)பொய்யைக் கற்பனை செய்கின்றனரே, அத்தகையோர்-அவர்கள் வெற்றியடையமாட்டார்கள்” என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக.
Say: "Verily, those who invent a lie against Allâh will never be successful" -
مَتَـٰعٌ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ إِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ ثُمَّ نُذِيقُهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابَ ٱلشَّدِيدَ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْفُرُونَ
(இத்தகையோருக்கு) இவ்வுலகில் (சிறிது) சுகமனுபவித்தல் உண்டு, பின்னர் (மறுமையில்) நம்மிடமே அவர்களின் திரும்புதல் இருக்கிறது, பின்னர் (உண்மையை) அவர்கள் நிராகரித்துக் கொண்டிருந்ததன் காரணமாக அவர்களுக்கு நாம் கடினமான வேதனையை சுவைக்கச் செய்வோம்.
(A brief) enjoyment in this world! - and then unto Us will be their return, then We shall make them taste the severest torment because they used to disbelieve [in Allâh, belie His Messengers, deny and challenge His Ayât (proofs, signs, verses, etc.)].
۞ وَٱتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ نُوحٍ إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِۦ يَـٰقَوْمِ إِن كَانَ كَبُرَ عَلَيْكُم مَّقَامِى وَتَذْكِيرِى بِـَٔايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ فَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ فَأَجْمِعُوٓا۟ أَمْرَكُمْ وَشُرَكَآءَكُمْ ثُمَّ لَا يَكُنْ أَمْرُكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ غُمَّةً ثُمَّ ٱقْضُوٓا۟ إِلَىَّ وَلَا تُنظِرُونِ
மேலும், (நபியே!) நூஹ்வுடைய சம்பவத்தை நீர் அவர்களுக்கு ஒதிக் காண்பிப்பீராக! அவர் தம் சமூகத்தாரிடம், “என்னுடைய சமூகத்தினரே! நான் (உங்களுக்கு மத்தியில்) இருப்பதும், நான் அல்லாஹ்வுடைய வசனங்களை ஓதிக்காண்பித்து (உபதேசித்து) நினைவு படுத்துவதும் உங்களுக்குப் பளுவாகத் தோன்றி (எனக்கு தீங்கு செய்யவேண்டுமா)னால், நான் அல்லாஹ்வின் மீதே (என் காரியங்களை ஒப்படைத்து முழுமையாக) நம்பிக்கை வைத்துள்ளேன், (நீங்கள் முடிவெடுத்த) உங்களுடைய காரியத்தையும், உங்களுடைய இணையாளர்களையும் ஒன்றுகூட்டி முடிவு செய்யுங்கள், பின்னர் உங்களுடைய அக்காரியம் உங்களிடம் மறைமுகமாகவும் இருக்க வேண்டாம், பின்னர் (அம்முடிவை) என்னில் நிறைவேற்றி விடுங்கள், (இதில்) எனக்கு நீங்கள் காலதாமதம் கொடுக்க வேண்டாம்” என்று கூறியதை நினைவு கூர்வீராக!
And recite to them the news of Nûh (Noah). When he said to his people: "O my people, if my stay (with you), and my reminding (you) of the Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allâh is hard on you, then I put my trust in Allâh. So devise your plot, you and your partners, and let not your plot be in doubt for you. Then pass your sentence on me and give me no respite.
فَإِن تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَمَا سَأَلْتُكُم مِّنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ۖ وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ
“ஆகவே, நீங்கள் (என்னுடைய தூதைப்) புறக்கணித்தால், நான் உங்களிடத்தில் யாதொரு கூலியும் கேட்கவில்லை, என்னுடைய கூலியெல்லாம் அல்லாஹ்வின் மீதே தவிர (மற்றெவரிடமும்) இல்லை, நான் (அவனுக்கு முற்றிலும் கீழ்ப்படிந்து நடக்கும்) முஸ்லிம்களில் (உள்ளவனாக) இருக்குமாறே ஏவப்பட்டுள்ளேன்” (என்று கூறினார்).
"But if you turn away [from accepting my doctrine of Islâmic Monotheism, i.e. to worship none but Allâh], then no reward have I asked of you; my reward is only from Allâh, and I have been commanded to be of the Muslims (i.e. those who submit to Allâh’s Will)."
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَنَجَّيْنَـٰهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥ فِى ٱلْفُلْكِ وَجَعَلْنَـٰهُمْ خَلَـٰٓئِفَ وَأَغْرَقْنَا ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا ۖ فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ
பின்னர் அவர்கள், அவரைப் பொய்யாக்கிவிட்டனர், ஆகவே, நாம் அவரையும், அவரைச் சார்ந்தோரையும் கப்பலில் (ஏற்றிக்) காப்பாற்றினோம், மேலும், அவர்களை (முன்னவர்களுக்குப்) பின் தோன்றல்களாகவும் நாம் ஆக்கினோம், (இன்னும் நம்முடைய வசனங்களைப் பொய்யாக்கியோரை(ப் பெருவெள்ளத்தில்) மூழ்கடித்தோம், பின்னர் அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிக்கை செய்யப்பட்டவர்களுடைய முடிவு எப்படி இருந்தது என்பதை (நபியே!) நீர் கவனிப்பீராக!
They denied him, but We delivered him, and those with him in the ship, and We made them generations replacing one after another, while We drowned those who belied Our Ayât (proofs, evidence, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.). Then see what was the end of those who were warned.
ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَا مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ رُسُلًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِمْ فَجَآءُوهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ فَمَا كَانُوا۟ لِيُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِمَا كَذَّبُوا۟ بِهِۦ مِن قَبْلُ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَطْبَعُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِ ٱلْمُعْتَدِينَ
பிறகு அவருக்கு (நூஹுக்கு)ப் பின்னர், தூதர்களை அவர்களின் சமூகத்தவர்பால் நாம் அனுப்பி வைத்தோம், அவர்களும் தெளிவான அத்தாட்சிகளையே அவர்களிடம் கொண்டு வந்தார்கள், .அப்பொழுது இவர்களுக்கு முன்னர் பொய்யாக்கிக் கொண்டிருந்தவைகளை, இவர்களும் விசுவாசிப்பவர்களாக இருக்கவில்லை, வரம்பு மீறியவர்களின் இதயங்கள் மீது இவ்வாறே நாம் முத்திரையிட்டு விடுவோம்.
Then after him We sent Messengers to their people. They brought them clear proofs, but they would not believe what they had already rejected beforehand. Thus We seal the hearts of the transgressors (those who disbelieve in the Oneness of Allâh and disobey Him).
ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَا مِنۢ بَعْدِهِم مُّوسَىٰ وَهَـٰرُونَ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَإِي۟هِۦ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا فَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ وَكَانُوا۟ قَوْمًا مُّجْرِمِينَ
பின்னர், அவர்களுக்குப் பிறகு மூஸாவையும், ஹாரூனையும் நம்முடைய அத்தாட்சிகளுடன் (நம்முடைய தூதர்களாக) ஃபிர்அவ்னிடமும், அவனுடைய பிரதானிகளிடமும் அனுப்பி வைத்தோம், அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் கர்வங்கொண்டனர், (உண்மையை நிராகரித்த) குற்றவாளிகளான சமூகத்தாராகவும் அவர்கள் இருந்தனர்.
Then after them We sent Mûsâ (Moses) and Hârûn (Aaron) to Fir‘aun (Pharaoh) and his chiefs with Our Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.). But they behaved arrogantly and were Mujrimûn (disbelievers, sinners, polytheists, criminals) folk.
فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلْحَقُّ مِنْ عِندِنَا قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَسِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ
எனவே, நம்மிடமிருந்து அவர்களுக்கு சத்தியம் வந்தபொழுது “நிச்சயமாக இது தெளிவான சூனியமாகும்” என்று அவர்கள் கூறினார்கள்.
So when came to them the truth from Us, they said: "This is indeed clear magic."
قَالَ مُوسَىٰٓ أَتَقُولُونَ لِلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَكُمْ ۖ أَسِحْرٌ هَـٰذَا وَلَا يُفْلِحُ ٱلسَّـٰحِرُونَ
(அதற்கு) மூஸா, (அவர்களிடம்) “உண்மையைப்பற்றி, அது உங்களிடம் வந்தபொழுது இது சூனியமா? என்று நீங்கள் கூறுகிறீர்களா? சூனியக்காரர்களோ வெற்றி பெறமாட்டார்கள்” என்று கூறினார்.
Mûsâ (Moses) said: "Say you (this) about the truth when it has come to you? Is this magic? But the magicians will never be successful."
قَالُوٓا۟ أَجِئْتَنَا لِتَلْفِتَنَا عَمَّا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ ءَابَآءَنَا وَتَكُونَ لَكُمَا ٱلْكِبْرِيَآءُ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا نَحْنُ لَكُمَا بِمُؤْمِنِينَ
அ(தற்க)வர்கள், “எங்கள் மூதாதையர்களை எதில் இருக்க நாங்கள் கண்டோமோ அதிலிருந்து எங்களைத் திருப்பிவிடவும், இப்பூமியில் உங்களிருவருக்கும் பெருமை (தலைமைத்தனம்) ஆகிவிடவேண்டுமென்பதற்குமா நீங்கள் எங்களிடம் வந்தீர்கள்? இன்னும், உங்களிருவரையும் (அல்லாஹ்வின் தூதர்களென்று) நாங்கள் விசுவாசங் கொள்ளக்கூடியவர்கள் அல்லர்” என்று கூறினர்.
They said: "Have you come to us to turn us away from that (Faith) we found our fathers following, and that you two may have greatness in the land? We are not going to believe you two!"
وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ ٱئْتُونِى بِكُلِّ سَـٰحِرٍ عَلِيمٍ
ஃபிர்அவ்ன், (தன் கூட்டத்தாரிடம்) “கற்றறிந்த சூனியக்காரர் ஒவ்வொருவரையும் என்னிடம் அழைத்துக்) கொண்டு வாருங்கள்” என்றும் கூறினான்.
And Fir‘aun (Pharaoh) said: "Bring me every well-versed sorcerer."
فَلَمَّا جَآءَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ قَالَ لَهُم مُّوسَىٰٓ أَلْقُوا۟ مَآ أَنتُم مُّلْقُونَ
(பல பகுதிகளிலும் இருந்த சூனியக்காரர்கள் (குறிப்பிட்ட நேரத்திற்கு) வந்தபோது, மூஸா (அவர்களிடம்) நீங்கள் (சூனியம் செய்ய) போடக் கூடியதைப் போடுங்கள்” என்று கூறினார்.
And when the sorcerers came, Mûsâ (Moses) said to them: "Cast down what you want to cast!"
