So do not become weak (against your enemy), nor be sad, and you will be superior (in victory) if you are indeed (true) believers.
Translation: Hilali & Khan
(விசுவாசங்கொண்டோரே!) நீங்கள் தைரியத்தை இழந்துவிட வேண்டாம், கவலையும் பட வேண்டாம், (உண்மையாகவே) நீங்கள் விசுவாசங் கொண்டவர்களாக இருந்தால், நீங்கள் தாம் மிக்க மேலானவர்கள்.
عَنْ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَبِي حَفْصٍ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رضي الله عنه قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّمَا الْأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ، وَإِنَّمَا لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مَا نَوَى».
Actions are but by intentions, and every man shall have only that which he intended.
நிச்சயமாக செயல்கள் அனைத்தும் எண்ணங்களின் (நிய்யத்தின்) அடிப்படையில்தான் அமைகின்றன. ஒவ்வொரு மனிதருக்கும் அவர் எண்ணியதே கிடைக்கும்.
قال سفيان الثوري رحمه الله:
«مَا عَالَجْتُ شَيْئًا أَشَدَّ عَلَيَّ مِنْ نِيَّتِي.»
Imam Sufyan al-Thawri said: “I have not struggled with anything harder for me than my correcting my intention.”
ஸுஃப்யான் அத்-ஸவ்ரீ (ரஹிமஹுல்லாஹ்) அவர்கள் கூறினார்கள்:
“எனது நிய்யத்தைச் சீர்படுத்துவதை விட எனக்கு மிகவும் கடினமான வேறு எதனுடனும் நான் போராடவில்லை.”
