மேலும், (போரில் கிடைத்த பொருட்களில்) மோசம் செய்வது எந்த நபிக்கும் தகுமானதன்று; எவரேனும் மோசம் செய்தால் அவர், அந்த மோசம் செய்ததுடன் மறுமை நாளில் வருவார்; பின்னர் ஒவ்வோர் ஆத்மாவுக்கும் அது சம்பாதித்த வினைக்கு(ரிய பயனை)ப் பூரணமாக அளிக்கப்படும். (அவை செய்த நன்மையைக் குறைத்தோ, தீமையை அதிகரித்தோ எவ்வகையிலும்) அவர்கள் அநீதி செய்யப்படவுமாட்டார்கள்.

It is not for any Prophet to take illegally a part of booty (Ghulul ),¹ and whosoever deceives his companions as regards the booty, he shall bring forth on the Day of Resurrection that which he took (illegally). Then every person shall be paid in full what he has earned, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly.

   Narrated Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه: The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم got up amongst us and mentioned Al-Ghulul, emphasised its magnitude and declared that it was a great sin saying, "Don’t commit Al-Ghulul for I should not like to see anyone amongst you on the Day of Resurrection, carrying over his neck a sheep that will be bleating, or carrying over his neck a horse that will be neighing. Such a man will be saying: ‘O Allâh’s Messenger! Intercede with Allâh for me,’ and I will reply, ‘I can’t help you, for I have conveyed Allâh’s Message to you.’ Nor should I like to see a man carrying over his neck, a camel that will be grunting. Such a man will say, ‘O Allâh’s Messenger! Intercede with Allâh for me,’ and I will say, ‘I can’t help you for I have conveyed Allâh’s Message to you’; or one carrying over his neck gold and silver and saying, ‘O Allâh’s Messenger! Intercede with Allâh for me.’ And I will say, ‘I can’t help you, for I have conveyed Allâh’s Message to you, or one carrying clothes that will be fluttering, and the man will say, ‘O Allâh’s Messenger! Intercede with Allâh for me.’ And I will say, ‘I can’t help you, for I have conveyed Allâh’s Message to you.’ " (Sahih Al-Bukhâri, Vol.4, Hadîth No.307).

அல்லாஹ்வின் பொருத்தத்தைப் பின்பற்றியவர் அல்லாஹ்வின் கோபத்தைக் கொண்டு மீண்டவரைப் போன்றவரா? (அன்று! கோபத்தில் சிக்கிய) அவருடைய ஒதுங்குமிடமோ நரகமாகும், மேலும், சேருமிடத்தில் (அது) மிகக் கெட்டது.

Is then one who follows (seeks) the good Pleasure of Allâh (by not taking illegally a part of the booty) like the one who draws on himself the Wrath of Allâh (by taking a part of the booty illegally - Ghulul)? - his abode is Hell, and worst, indeed is that destination!

(அல்லாஹ்வின் பொருத்தத்தைப்பின்பற்றிய) அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்விடத்தில் பல படித்தரங்களில் உள்ளனர், இன்னும் அல்லாஹ் அவர்கள் செய்பவற்றைப் பார்க்கிறவன்.

They are in varying grades with Allâh, and Allâh is All-Seer of what they do.

அல்லாஹ் விசுவாசிகள் மீது – அவர்களில் ஒரு தூதரை, (அதுவும்) அவர்களிலிருந்தே அவன் அனுப்பிவைத்த சமயத்தில் திட்டமாக பேரருள் செய்துவிட்டான். அவர், அவர்களுக்கு அவனுடைய வசனங்களை ஓதிக் காண்பித்து, அவர்களைப் (பாவத்திலிருந்து) பரிசுத்தமாக்கியும் வைக்கின்றார், அவர்களுக்கு வேதத்தையும், (குர் ஆனையும்) ஞானத்தையும், (ஸுன்னத்தையும்) கற்றுக் கொடுக்கின்றார், நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் இதற்குமுன் பகிரங்கமான வழிகேட்டிலேயே இருந்தனர்.

Indeed Allâh conferred a great favour on the believers when He sent among them a Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) from among themselves, reciting unto them His Verses (the Qur’ân), and purifying them (from sins by their following him), and instructing them (in) the Book (the Qur’ân) and Al-Hikmah [the wisdom and the Sunnah of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم (i.e. his legal ways, statements, acts of worship)], while before that they had been in manifest error.¹

   Following the Sunnah (legal ways) of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم. And the Statement of Allâh عز وجل - "And make us leaders for the righteous." (V.25:74).

   Mujâhid said, "(Make us) a community that follows the Muttaqûn (righteous) people who preceded us, and whom those succeeding may follow." Ibn ‘Aun said, "(There are) three things which I love for myself and for my brothers, i.e. this Sunnah (the legal ways of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم) which they should learn and ask about; the Qur’ân which they should understand and ask the people about; and that they should leave the people except when intending to do good (for them)." (Sahih Al-Bukhâri, Vol.9, Chap. 2, P.282)

   A) Narrated Hudhaifah: Allâh’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم said to us, "Certainly Al-Amânah (the trust or the moral responsibility or honesty, and all the duties which Allâh has ordained) descended from the heavens and settled in the roots of the hearts of men (faithful believers), and then the Qur’ân was revealed and the people read the Qur’ân, (and learnt Al-Amânah from it) and also learnt it from the Sunnah, [Both the Qur’ân and As-Sunnah strengthened their (the faithful believer’s) Amânah ]." (Sahih Al-Bukhâri, Vol. 9, Hadîth No.381).

   B) Narrated Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه: Allâh’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم said, "All my followers will enter Paradise except those who refuse." They said, "O Allâh’s Messenger! Who will refuse?" He said, "Whoever obeys me will enter Paradise, and whoever disobeys me is the one who refuses (to enter it)." (Sahih Al-Bukhâri, Vol.9, Hadîth No.384).

   C) Narrated Jâbir bin ‘Abdullâh رضي الله عنهما: Some angels came to Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) while he was sleeping. Some of them said, "He is sleeping." Others said, His eyes are sleeping but his heart is awake." Then they said, "There is an example for this companion of yours." One of them said, "Then set forth an example for him." Some of them said, "He is sleeping." The others said, "His eyes are sleeping but his heart is awake." Then they said, "His example is that of a man who has built a house and then, offered therein a banquet and sent an inviter (messenger) to invite the people. So whosoever accepted the invitation of the inviter, entered the house and ate of the banquet, and whoever did not accept the invitation of the inviter, did not enter the house, nor did he eat of the banquet." Then the angels said, "Interpret this parable to him so that he may understand it." Some of them said, "He is sleeping." The others said, "His eyes are sleeping but his heart is awake." And then they said, "The house stands for Paradise and the call-maker is Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم and whoever obeys Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم , obeys Allâh; and whoever disobeys Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم, disobeys Allâh. Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم separated the people (i.e., through his message, the good is distinguished from the bad, and the believers from the disbelievers)." (Sahih Al-Bukhâri, Vol.9, Hadîth No.385).

   D) Narrated Abu Mûsa رضي الله عنه: The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, "My example, and the example of what I have been sent with, is that of a man who came to some people and said, ‘O people I have seen the enemy’s army with my own eyes, and I am the naked warner; so protect yourselves!’ Then a group of his people obeyed him and fled at night proceeding stealthily till they were safe, while another group of them disbelieved him and stayed at their places till morning when the army came upon them, and killed and ruined them completely. So this is the example of that person who obeys me and follows that truth which I have brought (the Qur’ân and the Sunnah), and the example of the one who disobeys me and disbelieves the truth I have brought." (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol.9, Hadîth No.387).

இன்னும், உங்களுக்கு (உஹதுப் போரில்) ஒரு துன்பம் ஏற்பட்டபோது நிச்சயமாக நீங்கள் (பத்ருப்போரில்) இதுபோன்று இருமடங்குத் துன்பத்தை ஏற்படுத்தி விட்டிருந்தீர்கள், (இவ்வாறு செய்துவிட்டு) இது எவ்வாறு (யாரால்) ஏற்பட்டது?” என நீங்கள் கேட்கிறீர்களா? “நீங்கள் நம் தூதருக்கு மாறு செய்ததால்) உங்களிடமிருந்தேதான் இது ஏற்பட்டது” என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக! நிச்சயமாக, அல்லாஹ் ஒவ்வொரு பொருளின்மீதும் மிக்க ஆற்றலுடையவன்.

(What is the matter with you?) When a single disaster smites you, although you smote (your enemies) with one twice as great, you say: "From where does this come to us?" Say (to them), "It is from yourselves (because of your evil deeds)." And Allâh has power over all things.

இன்னும் இரு படைகளும் சந்தித்த நாளன்று, உங்களுக்கு ஏற்பட்டவை(களான துன்பங்)கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் கட்டளைப்படியேதான் (ஏற்பட்டது) இன்னும், உண்மை விசுவாசிகளை(ப் பிரித்து) அறிவித்து விடு)வதற்காகவே (இவ்வாறு செய்)தான்.

And what you suffered (of the disaster) on the day (of the battle of Uhud when) the two armies met, was by the leave of Allâh, in order that He might test the believers.

இன்னும் முனாஃபிக்குகளாக (வேஷதாரிகளாக) ஆகி விட்டார்களே அவர்களையும் (பிரித்து) அறி(வித்துவிடு)வதற்காகத்தான் (இவ்வாறு செய்தான். விசுவாசிகளே! அந்த முனாஃபிக்குகளிடம், நம்முடன் சேர்ந்து) அல்லாஹ்வின் பாதையில் யுத்தம் புரிய வாருங்கள், அல்லது (அந்த நிராகரிப்பவர்களை) நீங்கள் தடுத்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள்” என்று அவர்களிடம் கூறப்பட்டதற்கு, “யுத்தம் பற்றியதுதான் என்று இதனை) நாங்கள் அறிந்திருந்தால் உங்களைத் தொடர்ந்தே வந்திருப்போம், என்று அவர்கள் கூறினார்கள், அன்றையத்தினம் அவர்கள், விசுவாசத்தைவிட, நிராகரிப்புக்கே மிகவும் சமீபத்திலிருந்தார்கள், தங்கள் இதயங்களில் இல்லாதவைகளையே அவர்கள் தங்கள் வாய்களால் கூறுகிறார்கள், மேலும், அவர்கள் (தங்கள் இதயங்களில்) மறைத்துக்கொண்டிருப்பதை அல்லாஹ் மிக அறிபவன்.

And that He might test the hypocrites, it was said to them: "Come, fight in the Way of Allâh or (at least) defend yourselves." They said: "Had we known that fighting will take place, we would certainly have followed you." They were that day, nearer to disbelief than to Faith, saying with their mouths what was not in their hearts. And Allâh has full knowledge of what they conceal.

அத்தகையோர், (யுத்தத்திற்குச் செல்லாமல் தங்கள் வீட்டில்) இருந்து கொண்டே (யுத்தத்தில் இறந்துபோன) தங்கள் சகோதரர்களைப் பற்றி “அவர்களும் எங்களுக்கு கீழப்படிந்திருந்தால் (யுத்தத்திற்குச் சென்று இவ்வாறு) கொல்லப்பட்டிருக்க மாட்டார்கள்” என்றும் கூறினார்கள். (ஆகவே) “நீங்கள் உங்கள் கூற்றில்) உண்மையாளர்களாகயிருந்தால், (அவர்களை என்ன!) நீங்கள் உங்களுக்கே மரணம் அணுகாதவாறு தடுத்துவிடுங்கள் (பார்ப்போம்) என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக!

(They are) the ones who said about their killed brethren while they themselves sat (at home): "If only they had listened to us, they would not have been killed." Say: "Avert death from your ownselves, if you speak the truth."

(விசுவாசங்கொண்டோரே!) அல்லாஹ்வின் பாதையில் (யுத்தம் செய்து) கொல்லப்பட்டோரை இறந்துவிட்டவர்களென நீங்கள் நிச்சயமாக எண்ண வேண்டாம், மாறாக அவர்கள் தங்களின் இரட்சகனிடத்தில் உயிருள்ளோராக இருக்கிறார்கள், அவனால் அவர்கள் உணவளிக்கப்படுகிறார்கள்.

Think not of those who are killed in the Way of Allâh as dead. Nay, they are alive, with their Lord, and they have provision.

அல்லாஹ் தன் பேரருளால் அவர்களுக்கு அளித்தவற்றைக் கொண்டு ஆனந்தமடைந்தவர்களாக இருக்கின்றார்கள், (மேலும், யுத்தத்தில் இறக்காது) தங்களுடன் சேராமல் தங்களுக்குப் பின் (இவ்வுலகில் உயிரோடு) இருப்பவர்களைப் பற்றி, “அவர்களுக்கு எவ்விதப் பயமும் இல்லை, அவர்கள் கவலையும் அடைய மாட்டார்கள்” என்றும் மகிழ்ச்சியடைந்து கொண்டிருப்பார்கள்.

They rejoice in what Allâh has bestowed upon them of His Bounty and rejoice for the sake of those who have not yet joined them, but are left behind (not yet martyred) that on them no fear shall come, nor shall they grieve.

அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்துள்ள அருட்கொடையைக் கொண்டும், பேரருளைக் கொண்டும்; நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் விசுவாசிகளின் (நற்) கூலியை (ஒரு சிறிதும்) வீணாக்கமாட்டான் என்பதைப் பற்றியும் மகிழ்ச்சியடைந்து கொண்டிருப்பார்கள்.

They rejoice in a Grace and a Bounty from Allâh, and that Allâh will not waste the reward of the believers.

அவர்கள் எத்தகையோரென்றால், தங்களுக்குக் காயம் ஏற்பட்ட பின்னரும் அல்லாஹ்வுடைய மற்றும் தூதருடைய அழைப்பை ஏற்றனர், (ஆகவே யுத்தத்திற்குச் சென்றனர்) இவர்களில் யார் அழகானவற்றைச் செய்து (அல்லாஹ்வுக்குப்) பயந்து (பாவத்திலிருந்து தங்களைக் காத்துக்) கொண்டார்களோ அத்தகையவர்களுக்கு மகத்தான (நற்) கூலியுண்டு.

Those who answered (the Call of) Allâh and the Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) after being wounded; for those of them who did good deeds and feared Allâh, there is a great reward.

அவர்கள் எத்தகையோரென்றால்,(ஒருசில) மனிதர்கள் அவர்களிடம் (வந்து) உங்களுக்கு விரோதமாக (யுத்தம் புரிய) நிச்சயமாக மனிதர்கள் ஒன்று சேர்ந்திருக்கின்றனர்; ஆதலால், அவர்களுக்குப் பயந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்\" என்று கூறினர். அப்போது இ(க்)கூற்றானது அவர்களுக்கு(ப் பயம் ஏற்படுத்துவதற்கு பதிலாக) விசுவாசத்தை (-ஈமானை) அதிகப்படுத்தியது. மேலும், \"அல்லாஹ்வே எங்களுக்குப் போதுமானவன், பாதுகாவலரில் அவன் மிக்க நல்லவன்” என்றும் அவர்கள் கூறினார்கள்.

Those (i.e. believers) unto whom the people (hypocrites) said, "Verily, the people (pagans) have gathered against you (a great army), therefore, fear them." But it (only) increased them in Faith, and they said: "Allâh (Alone) is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs (for us).¹"

   Allâh’s Statement:- "Those (i.e. believers) unto whom the people (hypocrites) said, ‘Verily, the people (pagans) have gathered against you (a great army), therefore, fear them.’ "

   a) Narrated Ibn ‘Abbâs رضي الله عنهما: (The saying:) "Allâh (Alone) is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs (for us)" was said by Ibrâhîm (Abraham) عليه السلام when he was thrown into the fire; and it was said by Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) when they (i.e. hypocrites) said, "Verily, the people (pagans) have gathered against you (a great army), therefore, fear them," but it (only) increased them in Faith and they said: "Allâh (Alone) is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs (for us)." (V.3:173) (Sahih Al-Bukhâri, Vol.6, Hadîth No.86).

   b) Narrated Ibn ‘Abbâs رضي الله عنهما: The last statement of Ibrâhîm (Abraham) عليه السلام when he was thrown into the fire, was: "Allâh (Alone) is Sufficient for me and He is the Best Disposer (of my affairs)." (Sahih Al-Bukhâri, Vol.6, Hadîth No.87).

ஆகவே, அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் அருட்கொடையையும் பேரருளையும் பெற்றுத்திரும்பினார்கள், அவர்களை எத்தகைய தீங்கும் அணுகவில்லை, இன்னும் அவர்கள், அல்லாஹ்வின் பொருத்தத்தைப் பின்பற்றிச் சென்றார்கள், அல்லாஹ்வோ மகத்தான பேரருளுடையோன்.

So they returned with Grace and Bounty from Allâh. No harm touched them; and they followed the good Pleasure of Allâh. And Allâh is the Owner of Great Bounty.

இது ஒரு ஷைத்தான்தான், அவன் தன் நண்பர்களைப்பற்றி (அவர்கள் பலசாலிகள், கடுமையானவர்கள் என உங்களைப்) பயமுறுத்துகிறான், ஆகவே, நீங்கள் (உண்மை) விசுவாசிகளாக இருந்தால், அவர்களுக்குப் பயப்பட வேண்டாம் எனக்கே பயப்படுங்கள்.

It is only Shaitân (Satan) that suggests to you the fear of his Auliyâ’ [supporters and friends (polytheists, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh and in His Messenger, Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم)]; so fear them not, but fear Me, if you are (true) believers.

இன்னும், (நபியே!) நிராகரிப்பில் விரைந்து செல்கிறார்களே அத்தகையோர் உம்மைக் கவலைக்குள்ளாக்க வேண்டாம், (ஏனென்றால், அதனால்) நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு யாதொரு இடரும் செய்து விடவே முடியாது, மறுமையில், அவர்களுக்கு எத்தகைய பாக்கியத்தையும் ஆக்காதிருப்பதை அல்லாஹ் நாடுகின்றான், அவர்களுக்கு மகத்தான வேதனையுண்டு.

And let not those grieve you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) who rush with haste to disbelieve; verily, not the least harm will they do to Allâh. It is Allâh’s Will to give them no portion in the Hereafter. For them there is a great torment.

(தங்கள்) விசுவாசத்திற்கு பதிலாக நிராகரிப்பை நிச்சயமாக விலைக்கு வாங்கிக் கொண்டார்களே அத்தகையோர் - அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு ஓர் அணுவளவும் தீங்கிழைத்துவிடவே முடியாது, அவர்களுக்கு (அதனால்) துன்புறுத்தும் வேதனையுமுண்டு.

Verily, those who purchase disbelief at the price of Faith, not the least harm will they do to Allâh. For them, there is a painful torment.

இன்னும் நிராகரித்து விட்டார்களே அத்தகையோர்-அவர்களை தாமதப்படுத்துவதெல்லாம் தங்களுக்கு நல்லதென்று நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் எண்ணிவிட வேண்டாம், நாம் அவர்களுக்கு வேதனையைத் தாமதப்படுத்துவதெல்லாம், பாவத்தை (பின்னும்) அவர்கள் அதிகப்படுத்துவதற்காகவேதான், (முடிவில்) அவர்களுக்கு இழிவு தரும் வேதனையுமுண்டு.

And let not the disbelievers think that Our postponing of their punishment is good for them. We postpone the punishment only so that they may increase in sinfulness. And for them is a disgracing torment.

(நயவஞ்சகர்களே!) நல்லோரிலிருந்து தீயோரை பிரித்தறிவிக்கும்வரை நீங்கள் எதன் மீதிருக்கிறீர்களோ அதன்மீது, விசுவாசிகளை விட்டு வைப்பவனாக இல்லை, மறைவானவற்றை அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு அறிவித்துக் கொடுப்பவனாகவுமில்லை, எனினும், தன் தூதர்களில் தான் நாடியவர்களை (இதனை அறிவிக்க) அல்லாஹ் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கிறான், ஆகவே, அல்லாஹ்வையும், அவனுடைய தூதர்களையும் விசுவாசியுங்கள், நீங்கள் (உண்மையாகவே) விசுவாசித்தும், (அவனுக்குப்) பயந்தும் (நடந்து) கொணடால் உங்களுக்கு மகத்தான (நற்) கூலியுண்டு.

Allâh will not leave the believers in the state in which you are now, until He distinguishes the wicked from the good. Nor will Allâh disclose to you the secrets of the Ghaib (unseen), but Allâh chooses of His Messengers whom He wills. So believe in Allâh and His Messengers. And if you believe and fear Allâh, then for you there is a great reward.

மேலும், தன் பேரருளால் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தவைகளில் உலோபித்தனம் செய்கின்றார்களே அத்தகையவர்கள், அது தங்களுக்கு நல்லதென்று நிச்சயமாக எண்ணிவிட வேண்டாம். மாறாக, அது அவர்களுக்குத் தீங்காகும், எதை அவர்கள் உலோபித்தனம் செய்தார்களோ அதைக் கொண்டு மறுமை நாளில் அவர்கள் கழுத்தில் மாலையாக மாட்டப்படுவார்கள், இன்னும் வானங்கள், மற்றும் பூமியின் அனந்தர உரிமை அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே உரியது, மேலும், அல்லாஹ் நீங்கள் செய்பவற்றை நன்கு உணர்கிறவன்.

And let not those who covetously withhold of that which Allâh has bestowed on them of His Bounty (Wealth) think that it is good for them (and so they do not pay the obligatory Zakât ). Nay, it will be worse for them; the things which they covetously withheld shall be tied to their necks like a collar on the Day of Resurrection¹. And to Allâh belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth; and Allâh is Well-Acquainted with all that you do.

   "Let not those who covetously withhold of that which Allâh has bestowed upon them of His Bounty ... shall be tied to their necks like a collar."

   Narrated Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه: Allâh’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said, "Anyone whom Allâh has given wealth but he does not pay its Zakât; then, on the Day of Resurrection, his wealth will be presented to him in the shape of a bald-headed poisonous male snake with two poisonous glands* in its mouth and it will encircle itself round his neck and bite him over his cheeks and say, ‘I am your wealth; I am your treasure.’" Then the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم recited this Divine Verse: "And let not those who covetously withhold of that which Allâh has bestowed upon them of His Bounty." (V.3:180).

“நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் ஏழை; நாங்கள் தான் சீமான்கள்” என்று கூறினார்களே, அத்தகையவர்களுடைய சொல்லைத் திட்டமாக அல்லாஹ் செவியேற்றுவிட்டான், (இவ்வாறு) அவர்கள் கூறியதையும், நியாயமின்றி நபிமார்களை அவர்கள் கொலை செய்ததையும் நாம் பதிவு செய்து கொண்டிருக்கின்றோம், மேலும், (மறுமையில் அவர்களிடம்) “எரிக்கும் வேதனையை நீங்கள் சுவைத்துப் பாருங்கள்” என நாம் கூறுவோம்.

Indeed, Allâh has heard the statement of those (Jews) who say: "Truly, Allâh is poor and we are rich!" We shall record what they have said and their killing of the Prophets unjustly, and We shall say: "Taste you the torment of the burning (Fire)."

அது “உங்கள் கைகள் முற்படுத்தி வைத்த (செய்கைகளின்) காரணத்தினாலாகும், நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் தன் அடியார்களுக்கு எவ்வித அநியாயமும் செய்பவனல்ல”

This is because of that (evil) which your hands have sent before you. And certainly, Allâh is never unjust to (His) slaves.

(யூதர்களாகிய) அத்தகையோர் “எத்தூதராயினும் நம்மிடம் அவர் ஒரு “குர்பானி”யைக் கொண்டுவந்து அதை நெருப்பு உண்ணும்வரை நாங்கள் விசுவாசம் (ஈமான்) கொள்ள வேண்டாம் என, நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் எங்களிடம் உறுதிமொழி எடுத்துள்ளான்” என்று அவர்கள் கூறுகிறார்கள், (நபியே!) நீர் “எனக்கு முன்னர் வந்த தூதர்கள், தெளிவான அத்தாட்சிகளையும் இன்னும் நீங்கள் கேட்டதையும் உங்களுக்குத் திட்டமாகக் கொண்டு வந்தார்கள், நீங்கள் உண்மையாளர்களாக இருந்தால், அவர்களை ஏன் கொலை செய்தீர்கள்?” என்று கேட்பீராக.

Those (Jews) who said: "Verily, Allâh has taken our promise not to believe in any Messenger unless he brings to us an offering which the fire (from heaven) shall devour." Say: "Verily, there came to you Messengers before me, with clear signs and even with what you speak of; why then did you kill them, if you are truthful?"

(நபியே! இதற்குப்) பின்னரும் அவர்கள் உம்மைப் பொய்யாக்கினால் (அதற்காக கவலைப்பட வேண்டாம், ஏனென்றால்) உமக்கு முன்னர் தெளிவான அத்தாட்சிகளையும், ஆகமங்களையும், பிரகாசமான வேதத்தையும் கொண்டுவந்த தூதர்கள் பலரும் (அவர்கள் கூட்டத்தினரால் இவ்வாறே) பொய்ப்பிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கின்றனர்.

Then if they reject you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), so were Messengers rejected before you, who came with Al-Bayyinât (clear signs, proofs, evidence) and the Scripture and the Book of Enlightenment.

ஓவ்வோர் ஆத்மாவும் மரணத்தைச் சுவைக்கக் கூடியதாகும், இன்னும், உங்கள் (செயல்களுக்குரிய) கூலிகளை நீங்கள் பூரணமாக்கப்படுவதெல்லாம் மறுமை நாளில்தான், ஆகவே, (அந்நாளில்) எவர் (நரக) நெருப்பை விட்டும் தூரமாக்கப்பட்டு சுவர்க்கத்தில் பிரவேசிக்கச் செய்யப்படுகிறாரோ அவர், திட்டமாக வெற்றியடைந்து விட்டார், மேலும், இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கை ஏமாற்றக் கூடிய (அற்ப) இன்பத்தைத்தவிர வேறில்லை.

Everyone shall taste death. And only on the Day of Resurrection shall you be paid your wages in full. And whoever is removed away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is successful. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception (a deceiving thing).

(விசுவாசங்கொண்டோரே!) உங்கள் செல்வங்களிலும், உங்கள் ஆத்மாக்களிலும் நிச்சயமாக நீங்கள் சோதிக்கப்படுவீர்கள், உங்களுக்கு முன்னர் வேதம் கொடுக்கப்டடவர்களாலும், இணைவைப்பவர்களாலும் (வசைமொழி நிந்தனைகளான) அதிகமான நோவினையை நிச்சயமாக நீங்கள் செவியேற்பீர்கள், மேலும், (இத்தகைய கஷ்டங்களில்) நீங்கள் பொறுமையை மேற்கொண்டு பயபக்தியோடும் இருந்தீர்களானால், நிச்சயமாக அதுதான் அனைத்துக் காரியங்களிலும் ஆக்கமான செயலாகும்.

You shall certainly be tried and tested in your wealth and properties and in your personal selves, and you shall certainly hear much that will grieve you from those who received the Scripture before you (Jews and Christians) and from those who ascribe partners to Allâh; but if you persevere patiently, and become Al-Muttaqûn (the pious - See V.2:2) then verily, that will be a determining factor in all affairs (and that is from the great matters which you must hold on with all your efforts).

வேதம் கொடுக்கப்பட்டவர்களிடம், “(உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட) வேதத்தை மறைத்துவிடாது ஜனங்களுக்குத் தெளிவாக நீங்கள் எடுத்துரைக்க வேண்டும்” என்று அல்லாஹ் உறுதிமொழி வாங்கியதை (நபியே! நீர் அவர்களுக்கு நினைவுபடுத்துவீராக!) பினனர் அவர்கள் (தங்களின்) இவ்வுறுதிமொழியைத் தங்கள் முதுகுகளுக்கு அப்பால் எறிந்துவிட்டு இதற்குப் பிரதியாகச் சொற்பக் கிரயத்தை வாங்கிக் கொண்டார்கள், அவர்கள் இவ்வாறு வாங்கிக் கொண்டது மிகக் கெட்டதாகும்.

(And remember) when Allâh took a covenant from those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) to make it (the news of the coming of Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم and the religious knowledge) known and clear to mankind, and not to hide it, but they threw it away behind their backs, and purchased with it some miserable gain! And indeed worst is that which they bought.

(நபியே!) தாங்கள் செய்த (அற்பக்) காரியத்தைப் பற்றி மகிழ்ச்சியடைகிறார்களே அவர்களையும், தாம் செய்யாத (நன்மையான) காரியங்களைப் பற்றி புகழப்படுவதை விரும்புகின்றவர்களையும் பற்றி நீர் நிச்சயமாக எண்ண வேண்டாம், (அல்லாஹ்வின்) தண்டனையை விட்டும் (தப்பித்து-) வெற்றியில் இருக்கிறார்கள் என்று அவர்களை நீர் திண்ணமாக எண்ண வேண்டாம், அவர்களுக்குத் துன்புறுத்தும் வேதனையுமுண்டு.

Think not that those who rejoice in what they have done (or brought about), and love to be praised for what they have not done, - think not you that they are rescued from the torment, and for them is a painful torment.

வானங்கள், மற்றும் பூமியின் ஆட்சி அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே உரியது, இன்னும் அல்லாஹ் ஒவ்வொரு பொருளின் மீதும் மிக்க ஆற்றலுடையவன்.

And to Allâh belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and Allâh has power over all things.

நிச்சயமாக, வானங்கள், மற்றும் பூமியைப் படைத்திருப்பதிலும், இரவும் பகலும் மாறி, மாறி வருவதிலும், அறிவுடையோர்க்குப் பல அத்தாட்சிகள் இருக்கின்றன.

Verily! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, there are indeed signs for men of understanding.

(அறிவுடைய) அத்தகையோர், நின்ற நிலையிலும், இருந்த இருப்பிலும் தங்கள் விலாப் புறங்களின் மீது (சாய்ந்து)ம் அல்லாஹ்வையே நினைத்து வானங்கள் மற்றும் பூமியின் படைப்பைப் பற்றியும் சிந்தித்து, “எங்கள் இரட்சகனே! நீ இவற்றை வீணுக்காகப் படைத்துவிடவில்லை, நீ மிகத் தூயவன், (நரக) நெருப்பின் வேதனையிலிருந்து எங்களை நீ காத்தருள்வாயாக” (என்றும்),

Those who remember Allâh (always, and in prayers) standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and think deeply about the creation of the heavens and the earth, (saying): "Our Lord! You have not created (all) this without purpose, glory to You! (Exalted are You above all that they associate with You as partners). Give us salvation from the torment of the Fire.

“எங்கள் இரட்சகனே!! நிச்சயமாக நீ எவரை (நரக) நெருப்பில் புகுத்தினாயோ, அவரை நிச்சயமாக நீ இழிவு படுத்திவிட்டாய், இன்னும் அநியாயக்காரர்களுக்கு உதவி செய்வோர் (ஒருவரும்) இல்லை” (என்றும்),

"Our Lord! Verily, whom You admit to the Fire, indeed, You have disgraced him; and never will the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers) find any helpers.

“எங்கள் இரட்சகனே! ‘உங்கள் இரட்சகனை விசுவாசியுங்கள்!’ என்று (எங்களை) விசுவாசத்தின்பால் அழைத்தோரின் அழைப்பை நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் செவியேற்று நாங்களும் (அவ்வாறே) விசுவாசங் கொண்டோம், எங்கள் இரட்சகனே! ஆதலால், நீ எங்கள் குற்றங்களை மன்னிப்பாயாக! எங்களுடைய தீமைகளை எங்களை விட்டு நீக்கியும் விடுவாயாக! மேலும், (முடிவில்) நல்லோர்களுடன் எங்களை மரணிக்கச் செய்வாயாக” (என்றும்),

"Our Lord! Verily, we have heard the call of one (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) calling to Faith: ‘Believe in your Lord,’ and we have believed. Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and expiate from us our evil deeds, and make us die (in the state of righteousness) along with Al-Abrâr (the pious believers of Islamic Monotheism).

“எங்கள் இரட்சகனே! இன்னும் உன் தூதர்கள் மூலம் எங்களுக்கு நீ வாக்களித்ததை எங்களுக்குத் தந்தருள் புரிவாயாக! மறுமை நாளில் நீ எங்களை இழிவுபடுத்தாதிருப்பாயாக! நிச்சயமாக நீ வாக்குறுதியில் மாறு செய்யமாட்டாய்” (என்றும் பிரார்த்தனை செய்து கொண்டிருப்பார்கள்)

"Our Lord! Grant us what You promised unto us through Your Messengers and disgrace us not on the Day of Resurrection, for You never break (Your) Promise."

ஆதலால், அவர்களுடைய இரட்சகன், அவர்களுடைய (இந்தப்) பிரார்த்தனையை அங்கீகரித்துக் கொண்டான், (காரணம்) “உங்களில் ஆண், பெண் (இரு பாலரிலும்) எவர் நன்மை செய்தபோதிலும், நிச்சயமாக நான் அதை வீணாக்கி விட மாட்டேன், (ஏனென்றால்) உங்களில் (ஆணாகவோ, பெண்ணாகவோ இருந்தபோதிலும்) சிலர் மற்ற சிலரில் உள்ளவர்தான், (ஆகவே கூலி கொடுப்பதில் ஆண், பெண் என்ற பாகுபாடில்லை, உங்களில்) (ஹிஜ்ரத்துச் செய்து) தங்கள் வீடுகளிலிருந்து வெளியேறியும் (பிறரால்) வெளியேற்றப்பட்டும், என்னுடைய பாதையில் துன்புறுத்தப்பட்டும், யுத்தம் செய்தும், (அதில்) கொல்லப்பட்டும் விட்டனரே அத்தகையோர், அவர்களுடைய (பாவங்களான) தீயவைகளை நிச்சயமாக நான் அவர்களை விட்டும் நீக்கிவிடுவேன், நிச்சயமாக அவர்களை நான் சுவனபதிகளிலும் பிரவேசிக்கச் செய்வேன், அவற்றின்மீது ஆறுகள் ஓடிக் கொண்டிருக்கும், (என்று கூறுவான். இது) அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்துள்ள நற்கூலியாக அவர்களுக்குக் கிடைக்கும்) அல்லாஹ்விடத்தில் இன்னும் (இதனைவிட) மிக்க அழகான வெகுமதியும் இருக்கின்றது.

So their Lord accepted of them (their supplication and answered them), "Never will I allow to be lost the work of any of you, be he male or female. You are (members) one of another, so those who emigrated and were driven out from their homes, and suffered harm in My Cause, and who fought, and were killed (in My Cause), verily, I will expiate from them their evil deeds and admit them into Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise); a reward from Allâh, and with Allâh is the best of rewards."

(நபியே!) நிராகரிப்போர், (பெரும் வர்த்தகர்களாகவும், தனவந்தர்களாகவும் ஆடம்பரமாக) நகரங்களில் திரிந்து கொண்டிருப்பது உம்மை ஏமாற்றிவிட வேண்டாம்.

Let not the free disposal (and affluence) of the disbelievers throughout the land deceive you.

(இது) குறைந்த சுகமாகும், பின்னர், அவர்கள் ஒதுங்குமிடம் நரகம்தான். அது தங்குமிடத்தில் மிகக் கெட்டது.

A brief enjoyment; then, their ultimate abode is Hell; and worst indeed is that place for rest.

ஆயினும், தங்கள் இரட்சகனுக்குப் பயந்து (ஒழுங்காக நடந்து) கொள்கின்றார்களே அத்தகையோர் - அவர்களுக்கு சுவனபதிகளுண்டு, அவற்றின் கீழ் ஆறுகள் ஓடிக்கொண்டிருக்கும், அவற்றில் அவர்கள் நிரந்தரமாக(த்தங்கி) இருப்பார்கள், (இது) அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்து கிடைக்கும் விருந்தாகும், இன்னும் அல்லாஹ்விடம் இருப்பது நல்லோர்க்கு மிகச் சிறந்ததாகும்.

But, for those who fear their Lord, are Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise); therein are they to dwell (for ever), an entertainment from Allâh; and that which is with Allâh is the Best for Al-Abrâr (the pious believers of Islamic Monotheism).

(விசுவாசங்கொண்டோரே!) நிச்சயமாக வேதத்தையுடையோரில் அல்லாஹ்வையும், உங்களுக்கு இறக்கிவைக்கப்பட்ட (இவ்வேதத்)தையும், அவர்களுக்கு இறக்கிவைக்கப்பட்ட (மற்ற)வைகளையும் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு பயந்தவர்களாக விசுவாசம் கொள்கின்றவரும் இருக்கின்றனர், அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுடைய வசனங்களை சொற்பக் கிரயத்திற்கு விற்றுவிட மாட்டார்கள், இத்தகையோருக்கு அவர்களுடைய கூலி அவர்கள் இரட்சகனிடத்தில் (மகத்தானதாக) இருக்கின்றது, நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் கணக்கெடுப்பதில் மிகத் தீவிரமானவன்.

And there are, certainly, among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), those who believe in Allâh and in that which has been revealed to you, and in that which has been revealed to them, humbling themselves before Allâh. They do not sell the Verses of Allâh for a little price, for them is a reward with their Lord. Surely, Allâh is Swift in account.

விசுவாசங்கொண்டோரே! நீங்கள் பொறுமையைக் கடைப் பிடியுங்கள், மேலும் (எதிரியை சந்திக்கும் போது) ஒருவருக்கொருவர் உறுதியாக இருந்து கொள்ளுங்கள், மேலும் (எதிரியை எதிர்க்க) எந்நேரமும் சித்தமாயிருங்கள், அல்லாஹ்வுக்குப் பயந்து நடந்தும் கொள்ளுங்கள், நீங்கள் (இம்மையிலும் மறுமையிலும்) வெற்றியடைவீர்கள்.

O you who believe! Endure and be more patient (than your enemy), and guard your territory by stationing army units permanently at the places from where the enemy can attack you, and fear Allâh, so that you may be successful.
