மொழிபெயர்ப்பு: மன்னர் ஃபஹத் குர்ஆன் அச்சக வளாகம்
Translation: Dr. Muhsin Khan / Al-Allamah Taqi-ud-Din Al-Hilali
وَقُلْ جَآءَ ٱلْحَقُّ وَزَهَقَ ٱلْبَـٰطِلُ ۚ إِنَّ ٱلْبَـٰطِلَ كَانَ زَهُوقًا
அன்றியும், “சத்தியம் வந்து விட்டது, அசத்தியம் அழிந்துவிட்டது, நிச்சயமாக அசத்தியம் அழிந்தே தீரும்” என்றும் கூறுவீராக!
And say: "Truth (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism or this Qur’ân or Jihâd against polytheists) has come and Bâtil (falsehood, i.e. Satan or polytheism) has vanished. Surely Bâtil is ever bound to vanish."
وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ٱلْقُرْءَانِ مَا هُوَ شِفَآءٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۙ وَلَا يَزِيدُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا خَسَارًا
விசுவாசங்கொண்டோருக்கு எது குணப்படுத்துமோ அதையும், இன்னும் அருளையும் இந்தக் குர் ஆனிலிருந்து நாம் இறக்கி வைக்கிறோம், இன்னும், அக்கிரமக்காரர்களுக்கு இது நஷ்டத்தையே தவிர (வேறெதையும்) அதிகமாக்காது.
And We send down of the Qur’ân that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe (in Islâmic Monotheism and act on it), and it increases the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers) nothing but loss.
وَإِذَآ أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَى ٱلْإِنسَـٰنِ أَعْرَضَ وَنَـَٔا بِجَانِبِهِۦ ۖ وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ كَانَ يَـُٔوسًا
மேலும், நாம் மனிதனுக்கு அருட்கொடைகளை வழங்கினால், அவன் புறக்கணித்து (நம்மை விட்டும்) அவன் வெகு தூரத்தில் சென்றும் விடுகின்றான், அவனை (ஏதேனும் ஒரு) தீங்கு அணுகினாலோ (நம்பிக்கை இழந்து) நிராசையுடையவனாகி விடுகிறான்.
And when We bestow Our Grace on man (the disbeliever), he turns away and becomes arrogant (far away from the Right Path). And when evil touches him, he is in great despair.
قُلْ كُلٌّ يَعْمَلُ عَلَىٰ شَاكِلَتِهِۦ فَرَبُّكُمْ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ هُوَ أَهْدَىٰ سَبِيلًا
“ஒவ்வொருவரும் தன் வழியிலேயே செயல்படுகிறார், ஆகவே, நேர் வழியில் செல்பவர் யார் என்பதை உங்கள் இரட்சகன்தான் மிக்க அறிந்தவன்” என்று (நபியே! நீர்) கூறுவீராக!
Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم to mankind): "Each one does according to Shakilatihi (i.e. his way or his religion or his intentions.), and your Lord knows best of him whose path (religion) is right."
وَيَسْـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلرُّوحِ ۖ قُلِ ٱلرُّوحُ مِنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّى وَمَآ أُوتِيتُم مِّنَ ٱلْعِلْمِ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا
(நபியே!) ரூஹை! ஆன்மாவை)ப் பற்றி (யூதர்களாகிய) அவர்கள் உம்மிடம் கேட்கின்றார்கள், (அதற்கு) நீர் “ரூஹு எனது இரட்சகனின் கட்டளையில் உள்ளதாகும், (அதைப் பற்றிய) அறிவிலிருந்து வெகு சொற்பமே தவிர நீங்கள் கொடுக்கப்படவில்லை, (ஆதலால் அதன் நுட்பங்களை நீங்கள் அறிந்து கொள்ள முடியாது)” என்று கூறுவீராக!
And they ask you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم) concerning the Rûh (the Spirit); Say: "The Rûh (the Spirit) is one of the things, the knowledge of which is only with my Lord. And of knowledge, you (mankind) have been given only a little."
وَلَئِن شِئْنَا لَنَذْهَبَنَّ بِٱلَّذِىٓ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْكَ ثُمَّ لَا تَجِدُ لَكَ بِهِۦ عَلَيْنَا وَكِيلًا
மேலும், நபியே! நாம் நாடினால் உமக்கு வஹீ மூலம் அறிவித்திருந்தோமே அத்தகைய (குர் ஆனாகிய)தை (உம்மிடமிருந்து) நிச்சயமாக நாம் போக்கி விடுவோம், பிறகு (இதனை உம்மிடம் கொண்டு வர) நமக்கு விரோதமாக அதற்காகப் பொறுப்பேற்கக் கூடிய எவரையும் நீர் காண மாட்டீர்.
And if We willed, We could surely take away that which We have revealed to you (i.e. this Qur’ân). Then you would find no protector for you against Us in that respect.
إِلَّا رَحْمَةً مِّن رَّبِّكَ ۚ إِنَّ فَضْلَهُۥ كَانَ عَلَيْكَ كَبِيرًا
உமதிரட்சகனின் அருளாகவே தவிர (அதை நாம் விட்டு வைத்திருக்கவில்லை). நிச்சயமாக உம்மீது அவனுடைய பேரருள் மிகப் பெரிதாகவே இருக்கிறது.
Except as a Mercy from your Lord. Verily His Grace unto you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم) is ever great.
قُل لَّئِنِ ٱجْتَمَعَتِ ٱلْإِنسُ وَٱلْجِنُّ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يَأْتُوا۟ بِمِثْلِ هَـٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانِ لَا يَأْتُونَ بِمِثْلِهِۦ وَلَوْ كَانَ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ ظَهِيرًا
“இந்தக் குர் ஆனைப் போன்று கொண்டு வருவதற்கு மனிதர்களும், ஜின்களும் ஒன்று சேர்ந்தாலும் இதனைப் போன்று அவர்கள் கொண்டுவர மாட்டார்கள், அவர்களில் சிலர் சிலருக்கு உதவியாளராக இருந்தாலும் சரியே!” என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக!
Say: "If the mankind and the jinn were together to produce the like of this Qur’ân, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they helped one another."
وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِى هَـٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانِ مِن كُلِّ مَثَلٍ فَأَبَىٰٓ أَكْثَرُ ٱلنَّاسِ إِلَّا كُفُورًا
மேலும், இந்தக் குர் ஆனில், சகல உதாரணங்களையும் மனிதர்களுக்கு நாம் (திருப்பித் திருப்பி) விவரித்துத் தெளிவாக்கியுள்ளோம், ஆனால், மனிதர்களில் பெரும்பாலோர் (இதனை) நிராகரிப்பதைத் தவிர (வேறு எதையும்) ஏற்பதில்லை.
And indeed We have fully explained to mankind, in this Qur’ân, every kind of similitude, but most of mankind refuse (the truth and accept nothing) but disbelief.
وَقَالُوا۟ لَن نُّؤْمِنَ لَكَ حَتَّىٰ تَفْجُرَ لَنَا مِنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ يَنۢبُوعًا
இன்னும், “(நபியே! இப்)பூமியிலிருந்து, நீர் ஒரு நீரூற்றை எங்களுக்காக பீறிட்டு ஓடச் செய்யும் வரை உம்மை நாங்கள் விசுவாசிக்கவே மாட்டோம்” என்று அவர்கள் கூறினார்கள்.
And they say: "We shall not believe in you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم), until you cause a spring to gush forth from the earth for us;
أَوْ تَكُونَ لَكَ جَنَّةٌ مِّن نَّخِيلٍ وَعِنَبٍ فَتُفَجِّرَ ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرَ خِلَـٰلَهَا تَفْجِيرًا
–அல்லது பேரீச்சை திராட்சை (மரங்களை)யுடைய ஒரு தோட்டம் உமக்கு இருந்து அவைகளுக்கிடையில் ஆறுகளை (ஏற்படுத்தி) நீர் ஓடச் செய்யும்வரை –
"Or you have a garden of date-palms and grapes, and cause rivers to gush forth in their midst abundantly;
أَوْ تُسْقِطَ ٱلسَّمَآءَ كَمَا زَعَمْتَ عَلَيْنَا كِسَفًا أَوْ تَأْتِىَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ قَبِيلًا
– அல்லது நீர் எண்ணியது போன்று எங்களின்மீது வானத்திலிருந்து துண்டுகளை விழச்செய்யும்வரை – அல்லது அல்லாஹ்வையும், மலக்குகளையும் (நம்) முன்பாக நீர் கொண்டு வரும்வரை –
"Or you cause the heaven to fall upon us in pieces, as you have pretended, or you bring Allâh and the angels before (us) face to face;
أَوْ يَكُونَ لَكَ بَيْتٌ مِّن زُخْرُفٍ أَوْ تَرْقَىٰ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَلَن نُّؤْمِنَ لِرُقِيِّكَ حَتَّىٰ تُنَزِّلَ عَلَيْنَا كِتَـٰبًا نَّقْرَؤُهُۥ ۗ قُلْ سُبْحَانَ رَبِّى هَلْ كُنتُ إِلَّا بَشَرًا رَّسُولًا
–அல்லது (மிக்க அழகான) பொன்னாலாகிய ஒரு (மாளிகை) வீடு உமக்கு ஆகும்வரை, அல்லது வானத்தில் நீர் உயர்ந்து செல்லும்வரை (உம்மை விசுவாசிக்க மாட்டோம்.) இன்னும், நாம் ஓதக்கூடிய ஒரு வேதத்தை நீர் (நேராக) நம் மீது இறக்கி வைக்கும் வரை (நீர் வானத்தில்) ஏறியதை நம்பவே மாட்டோம் (என்றும் கூறுகின்றனர், அதற்கு) “என் இரட்சகன் மிகப் பரிசுத்தமானவன், நான் (அல்லாஹ்வின்) தூதனாகிய ஒரு மனிதனாகவே தவிர இருக்கின்றேனா?” என்று நீர் கூறுவீராக!
"Or you have a house of Zukhruf (like silver and pure gold), or you ascend up into the sky, and even then we will put no faith in your ascension until you bring down for us a Book that we would read." Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم): "Glorified (and Exalted) be my Lord [(Allâh) above all that evil they (polytheists) associate with Him]! Am I anything but a man, sent as a Messenger?"
وَمَا مَنَعَ ٱلنَّاسَ أَن يُؤْمِنُوٓا۟ إِذْ جَآءَهُمُ ٱلْهُدَىٰٓ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوٓا۟ أَبَعَثَ ٱللَّهُ بَشَرًا رَّسُولًا
மனிதர்களை – அவர்களிடம் நேர் வழி வந்த சமயத்தில், “அல்லாஹ் ஒரு மனிதரையா (தன்) தூதராக அனுப்பி வைத்தான்” என்று அவர்கள் கூறுவதைத் தவிர - அவர்கள் விசுவாசங்கொள்வதை (வேறெதுவும்) தடுக்கவில்லை.
And nothing prevented men from believing when the guidance came to them, except that they said: "Has Allâh sent a man as (His) Messenger?"
قُل لَّوْ كَانَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مَلَـٰٓئِكَةٌ يَمْشُونَ مُطْمَئِنِّينَ لَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْهِم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَلَكًا رَّسُولًا
(அதற்கு) நீர் கூறுவீராக! “பூமியில் மலக்குகள் (வசித்து) இருந்து, (அதில் அவர்கள் நிம்மதியுடையோராக நடந்து திரிந்து கொண்டிருந்தால், நிச்சயமாக நாம் வானத்திலிருந்து ஒரு மலக்கையே (நம்முடைய) தூதராக அவர்களிடம் இறக்கி வைத்திருப்போம், (எனினும், அவர்கள் மனிதர்களாக இருப்பதனால் ஒரு மனிதரே தவிர அவர்களுக்குத் தூதராக வர மாட்டார்.)
Say: "If there were on the earth, angels walking about in peace and security, We should certainly have sent down for them from the heaven an angel as a Messenger."
قُلْ كَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ شَهِيدًۢا بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَكُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِۦ خَبِيرًۢا بَصِيرًا
(இன்னும்) நீர் கூறுவீராக! “எனக்கும் உங்களுக்குமிடையிலும் (உண்மையை நிலைநிறுத்த) சாட்சியாக அல்லாஹ் ஒருவனே போதுமானவன், (ஏனென்றால்,) நிச்சயமாக அவன் தன் அடியார்களைப்பற்றி நன்குணர்பவனாக, (சாட்சியாக இருக்க, யாவற்றையும்) பார்ப்பவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.
Say: "Sufficient is Allâh for a witness between me and you. Verily He is Ever the All-Knower, the All-Seer of His slaves."
وَمَن يَهْدِ ٱللَّهُ فَهُوَ ٱلْمُهْتَدِ ۖ وَمَن يُضْلِلْ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُمْ أَوْلِيَآءَ مِن دُونِهِۦ ۖ وَنَحْشُرُهُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِهِمْ عُمْيًا وَبُكْمًا وَصُمًّا ۖ مَّأْوَىٰهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ ۖ كُلَّمَا خَبَتْ زِدْنَـٰهُمْ سَعِيرًا
மேலும், அல்லாஹ் எவரை நேர்வழியில் செலுத்துகிறானோ அவர் தாம் நேர் வழி பெற்றவராவார், எவர்களை (அல்லாஹ்) தவறான வழியில் விட்டுவிடுகிறானோ அவர்களுக்கு அவனையன்றி (வேறு) உதவியாளரை நீர் காணமாட்டீர், மேலும், அவர்களைக் குருடர்களாகவும், ஊமையர்களாகவும், செவிடர்களாகவும் (ஆக்கி) அவர்கள் தங்கள் முகங்கள் மீது குப்புற வரும்படி(ச்செய்து) அவர்களை (மறுமை நாளில்) ஒன்று சேர்ப்போம், அவர்கள் தங்குமிடம் நரகந்தான், அ(தன் நெருப்பான)து தணியும் போதெல்லாம் (அது) கொழுந்து விட்டெரிவதை அவர்களுக்கு (பின்னும்) நாம் அதிகப்படுத்துவோம்.
And he whom Allâh guides, he is led aright; but he whom He sends astray, for such you will find no Auliyâ’ (helpers and protectors), besides Him, and We shall gather them together on the Day of Resurrection on their faces,1blind, dumb and deaf; their abode will be Hell; whenever it abates, We shall increase for them the fierceness of the Fire.
Narrated Anas bin Mâlik رضي الله عنه: A man said, "O Allâh’s Prophet! Will Allâh gather a disbeliever (prone) on his face on the Day of Resurrection?" He صلى الله عليه وسلم said, "Will not the One Who made him walk on his feet in this world, be able to make him walk on his face on the Day of Resurrection?" (Qatâdah, a subnarrator, said: "Yes, by the Power of Our Lord!") (Sahih Al Bukhri, Vol. 6, Hadith No.283).
ذَٰلِكَ جَزَآؤُهُم بِأَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا وَقَالُوٓا۟ أَءِذَا كُنَّا عِظَـٰمًا وَرُفَـٰتًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ خَلْقًا جَدِيدًا
நிச்சயமாக, அவர்கள் நம் வசனங்களை நிராகரித்து விட்டனர் என்பதாலும் அன்றியும் “எலும்புகளாகவும், மக்கிவிட்டதாகவும் நாம் ஆகிவிட்டாலும், நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் புதிய படைப்பாக (உருவாக்கப்பட்டு) எழுப்பப்படுபவர்களா?” எனக் கூறியதாலும் அது அவர்களுக்குரிய கூலியாகும்.
That is their recompense, because they denied Our Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and said: "When we are bones and fragments, shall we really be raised up as a new creation?"
۞ أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ قَادِرٌ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يَخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُمْ وَجَعَلَ لَهُمْ أَجَلًا لَّا رَيْبَ فِيهِ فَأَبَى ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ إِلَّا كُفُورًا
நிச்சயமாக வானங்களையும், பூமியையும் படைத்தானே அத்தகைய அல்லாஹ் (மறுதடவையும் முன்னிருந்த) அவர்களைப் போன்றே படைக்க ஆற்றலுடையோன் என்பதை அவர்கள் பார்க்கவில்லையா? மேலும் (இதற்காக) அவர்களுக்கு ஒரு தவணையையும் ஏற்படுத்தியிருக்கிறான், அதில் யாதொரு சந்தேகமுமில்லை, ஆகவே அநியாயக்காரர்கள் நிராகரிப்பைத் தவிர வேறு எதையும் ஏற்பதில்லை.
See they not that Allâh, Who created the heavens and the earth, is Able to create the like of them. And He has decreed for them an appointed term, whereof there is no doubt. But the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers) refuse (the truth - the Message of Islâmic Monotheism, and accept nothing) but disbelief.
قُل لَّوْ أَنتُمْ تَمْلِكُونَ خَزَآئِنَ رَحْمَةِ رَبِّىٓ إِذًا لَّأَمْسَكْتُمْ خَشْيَةَ ٱلْإِنفَاقِ ۚ وَكَانَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ قَتُورًا
(நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக! என் இரட்சகனின் அருட்களஞ்சியங்களை நீங்களே சொந்தப்படுத்திக்கொண்டு இருப்பீர்களானால், அப்போது அது செலவாகி விடுவதைப் பயந்து (எவருக்கும் எதையும் கொடுக்காது) நீங்கள் தடுத்துக் கொள்வீர்கள்! மனிதன் பெரும் உலோபியாகவும் இருக்கிறான்.
Say (to the disbelievers): "If you possessed the treasure of the Mercy of my Lord (wealth, money, provision.), then you would surely hold back (from spending) for fear of (being exhausted), and man is ever miserly!"
وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَىٰ تِسْعَ ءَايَـٰتٍۭ بَيِّنَـٰتٍ ۖ فَسْـَٔلْ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ إِذْ جَآءَهُمْ فَقَالَ لَهُۥ فِرْعَوْنُ إِنِّى لَأَظُنُّكَ يَـٰمُوسَىٰ مَسْحُورًا
மேலும், திட்டமாக நாம் மூஸாவுக்குத் தெளிவான ஒன்பது அத்தாட்சிகளைக் கொடுத்திருந்தோம், (அதைப் பெற்றுக் கொண்டு) அவர், (தன் சமூகத்தினரான) அவர்களிடம் (அதைக் கொண்டு) வந்தபொழுது (என்ன நடந்ததென) இஸ்ராயீலின் மக்களிடம் (நபியே!) நீர், கேட்பீராக! அப்போது ஃபிர் அவ்ன் அவரிடம், “மூஸாவே! நிச்சயமாக நீர் சூனியம் செய்யப்பட்டவரென நான் உம்மை எண்ணுகிறேன்” என்று கூறினான்.
And indeed We gave Mûsâ (Moses) nine clear signs. Ask then the Children of Israel, when he came to them, then Fir‘aun (Pharaoh) said to him: "O Mûsâ (Moses)! I think you are indeed bewitched."
قَالَ لَقَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَآ أَنزَلَ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِلَّا رَبُّ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ بَصَآئِرَ وَإِنِّى لَأَظُنُّكَ يَـٰفِرْعَوْنُ مَثْبُورًا
(அதற்கு) மூஸா, வானங்கள், மற்றும் பூமியின் இரட்சகனைத் தவிர (வேறு எவரும்) இவற்றை உங்களுக்குத் தெளிவான சான்றுகளாக இறக்கி வைக்கவில்லை என்பதைத் திட்டமாக நீ அறிந்து விட்டாய், மேலும், ஃபிர் அவ்னே! நிச்சயமாக நான் உன்னை, அழிக்கப்படுபவன் என்றே நான் எண்ணுகிறேன்” என்று கூறினார்.
[Mûsâ (Moses)] said: "Verily, you know that these signs have been sent down by none but the Lord of the heavens and the earth (as clear evidence i.e. proofs of Allâh’s Oneness and His Omnipotence.). And I think you are, indeed, O Fir‘aun (Pharaoh) doomed to destruction (away from all good)!"
فَأَرَادَ أَن يَسْتَفِزَّهُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ فَأَغْرَقْنَـٰهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥ جَمِيعًا
எனவே, (மூஸாவையும், அவருடைய சமூகத்தினருமான) அவர்களை தன் தேசத்திலிருந்து விரட்டி விடவே அவன் நாடினான், பின்னர், அவனையும் அவனுடனிருந்த (அவனுடைய சமூகத்தார்) யாவரையும் நாம் மூழ்கடித்து விட்டோம்.
So he resolved to turn them out of the land (of Egypt). But We drowned him and all who were with him.
وَقُلْنَا مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ لِبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱسْكُنُوا۟ ٱلْأَرْضَ فَإِذَا جَآءَ وَعْدُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ جِئْنَا بِكُمْ لَفِيفًا
இதன் பின்னர் இஸ்ராயீலின் மக்களுக்கு நாம் கூறினோம், “நீங்கள் இப்பூமியில் வசித்திருங்கள், மறுமையின் வாக்குறுதி வந்தால், உங்கள் யாவரையும் (எல்லாக் கிளையினரிலிருந்தும் விசாரணைக்காக) ஒரு சேர நம்மிடம் கொண்டு வந்து சேர்ப்போம்.”
And We said to the Children of Israel after him: "Dwell in the land, then, when the final and the last promise comes near [i.e. the Day of Resurrection or the descent of Christ [‘Îsâ (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary) عليهما السلام on the earth], We shall bring you altogether as mixed crowd (gathered out of various nations). (Tafsir Al-Qurtubî,).
وَبِٱلْحَقِّ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ وَبِٱلْحَقِّ نَزَلَ ۗ وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَـٰكَ إِلَّا مُبَشِّرًا وَنَذِيرًا
இன்னும், உண்மையைக் கொண்டே (குர் ஆனாகிய) இதை நாம் இறக்கி வைத்தோம், அதுவும் உண்மையைக் கொண்டே இறங்கியது, மேலும், (நபியே!) நாம் உம்மை நன்மாராயங் கூறுபவராகவும், அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிப்பவராகவுமே தவிர அனுப்பவில்லை.
And with truth We have sent it down (i.e. the Qur’ân), and with truth it has descended. And We have sent you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم) as nothing but a bearer of glad tidings (of Paradise for those who follow your Message of Islâmic Monotheism), and a warner (of Hell-fire for those who refuse to follow your Message of Islâmic Monotheism)1.

وَقُرْءَانًا فَرَقْنَـٰهُ لِتَقْرَأَهُۥ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ عَلَىٰ مُكْثٍ وَنَزَّلْنَـٰهُ تَنزِيلًا
குர் ஆனை மனிதர்களுக்கு அதனைச் சிறிது சிறிதாக நீர் ஓதிக் காண்பிப்பதற்காக, அதனை நாம் பிரித்து (இறக்கி) வைத்தோம், இன்னும், அதனைப் படிப்படியாக இறக்கி வைத்தோம்.
And (it is) a Qur’ân which We have divided (into parts), in order that you might recite it to men at intervals. And We have revealed it by stages (in 23 years).
قُلْ ءَامِنُوا۟ بِهِۦٓ أَوْ لَا تُؤْمِنُوٓا۟ ۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْعِلْمَ مِن قَبْلِهِۦٓ إِذَا يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ يَخِرُّونَ لِلْأَذْقَانِ سُجَّدًا
(நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக! “இதனை நீங்கள் விசுவாசியுங்கள், அல்லது விசுவாசிக்காதிருங்கள், நிச்சயமாக இதற்கு முன் (வேத) அறிவு கொடுக்கப்பட்டிருந்தார்களே அத்தகையோர் - அவர்களுக்கு இது ஓதிக்காண்பிக்கப்பட்டால், (இதனை விசுவாசித்து பணிந்து) ஸுஜுது செய்தவர்களாக முகங்குப்புற விழுவார்கள்.
Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم to them): "Believe in it (the Qur’ân) or do not believe (in it). Verily those who were given knowledge before it (the Jews and the Christians like ‘Abdullâh bin Salâm and Salmân Al-Farisî), when it is recited to them, fall down on their faces in humble prostration."
وَيَقُولُونَ سُبْحَـٰنَ رَبِّنَآ إِن كَانَ وَعْدُ رَبِّنَا لَمَفْعُولًا
“எங்கள் இரட்சகன் மிகப் பரிசுத்தமானவன், எங்களுடைய இரட்சகனுடைய வாக்கு நிச்சயமாக நிறைவேற்றப்பட்டதாக ஆகிவிட்டது” என்றும் அவர்கள் கூறுவார்கள்.
And they say: "Glory be to our Lord! Truly, the Promise of our Lord must be fulfilled."
وَيَخِرُّونَ لِلْأَذْقَانِ يَبْكُونَ وَيَزِيدُهُمْ خُشُوعًا ۩
இன்னும், அவர்கள் அழுதவர்களாக முகங்குப்புற விழுவார்கள், அவர்களுக்கு அது பயபக்தியை அதிகப்படுத்தும்.
And they fall down on their faces weeping and it increases their humility.
قُلِ ٱدْعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ أَوِ ٱدْعُوا۟ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنَ ۖ أَيًّا مَّا تَدْعُوا۟ فَلَهُ ٱلْأَسْمَآءُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ۚ وَلَا تَجْهَرْ بِصَلَاتِكَ وَلَا تُخَافِتْ بِهَا وَٱبْتَغِ بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ سَبِيلًا
(நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக! “அல்லாஹ் என்று அழையுங்கள், அல்லது அர்ரஹ்மான் என்று அழையுங்கள், (இவ்விரண்டில்) எதைக் கொண்டு நீங்கள் அவனை அழைத்த போதிலும் அவனுக்கு அழகான பெயர்கள் இருக்கின்றன, (நபியே!) உம்முடைய தொழுகையில் நீர் (மிக்க) சப்தமிட்டும் ஓத வேண்டாம், அதில் (மிக) மெதுவாகவும் ஓத வேண்டாம், இவற்றிற்கிடையே (மத்திய) ஒரு வழியைத் தேடிக் கொள்வீராக!
Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم): "Invoke Allâh or invoke the Most Gracious (Allâh), by whatever name you invoke Him (it is the same), for to Him belong the Best Names. And offer your Salât (prayer) neither aloud nor in a low voice, but follow a way between.
وَقُلِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ شَرِيكٌ فِى ٱلْمُلْكِ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ وَلِىٌّ مِّنَ ٱلذُّلِّ ۖ وَكَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيرًۢا
இன்னும், “பிள்ளையை (தனக்கு) எடுத்துக் கொள்ளாதவனும், ஆட்சியில் தனக்கு துணைவன் இல்லாதவனும், இழிவிலிருந்து (காக்க) அவனுக்கு உதவி செய்பவரே இல்லாதவனும் ஆகிய - இத்தகைய அல்லாஹவிற்கே புகழ் அனைத்தும் உரித்தாகுக” எனவும் (நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக! ஆகவே (மாபெரும் மகத்துவத்திற்குரிய) அவனை மிக மிக பெருமைப்படுத்துவீராக!
And say: "All the praises and thanks be to Allâh, Who has not begotten a son (or offspring), and Who has no partner in (His) Dominion, nor He is low to have a Walî (helper, protector or supporter). And magnify Him with all magnificence, [Allâhu-Akbar (Allâh is the Most Great)]."
