16. An-Nahl

(இதோ) அல்லாஹ்வுடைய கட்டளை வந்துவிட்டது, ஆகவே, அதைப்பற்றி நீங்கள் அவசரப்படாதீர்கள், அவன் மிகப் பரிசுத்தமானவன், அவர்கள் இணைவைப்பவற்றை விட்டும் (மிக்க) உயர்வானவன்.

The Event (the Hour or the punishment of disbelievers and polytheists or the Islâmic laws or commandments) ordained by Allâh will come to pass, so seek not to hasten it. Glorified and Exalted be He above all that they associate as partners with Him.

நிச்சயமாக அது (காரியம் என்னவென்றால்) “வணக்கத்திற்குரியவன் என்னைத் தவிர (வேறு எவரும்) இல்லை, (ஆகவே) என்னையே பயந்து கொள்ளுங்கள் என நீங்கள் எச்சரிக்கை செய்யுங்கள்” என்று தன் அடியார்களில் தான் நாடியவர் மீது தன் கட்டளையினால் வஹீயைக் கொண்டு அமரர்களை அவன் இறக்கி வைக்கிறான்.

He sends down the angels with the Rûh (revelation) of His Command to whom of His slaves He wills (saying): "Warn mankind that Lâ ilâha illâ Ana (none has the right to be worshipped but I), so fear Me (by abstaining from sins and evil deeds).

வானங்களையும், பூமியையும் (வீண் விளையாட்டிற்காக இல்லாமல்) உண்மையைக் கொண்டு அவன் படைத்திருக்கிறான், அவர்கள் இணை வைப்பவைகளைவிட்டும் அவன் மிக்கப் பரிசுத்தமானவன்.

He has created the heavens and the earth with truth. High is He, Exalted above all that they associate as partners with Him.

ஒரு துளி இந்திரியத்திலிருந்து மனிதனை அவன் படைத்தான், (அவ்வாறு படைக்கப்பட்ட அவன் வளர்ந்து நிறைவுபெற்றுவிட்டு) இப்போது அவன் பகிரங்கமாகத் தர்க்கிக்கக் கூடியவன் (ஆக இருக்கிறான்,)

He has created man from Nutfah (mixed drops of male and female sexual discharge), then behold, this same (man) becomes an open opponent.

மேலும், (மனிதர்களே!) கால்நடைகளை-அவற்றை (உங்களுக்காக) அவனே படைத்தான், அவற்றில் உங்களுக்காக (குளிரைத் தடுத்துக் கொள்ளக்கூடிய) கதகதப்புண்டு, இன்னும், (வேறு) பயன்களும் உங்களுக்குண்டு, மேலும். அவற்றிலிருந்து நீங்கள் புசிக்கின்றீர்கள

And the cattle, He has created them for you; in them there is warmth (warm clothing), and numerous benefits, and of them you eat.

நீங்கள் அவற்றை (மேய்த்து) மாலையில் ஓட்டி வரும்பொழுதும், (மேய்ச்சலுக்காக) காலையில் ஓட்டிச் செல்லும்பொழுதும் அவற்றில் உங்களுக்கு அழகுமிருக்கிறது.

And wherein is beauty for you, when you bring them home in the evening, and as you lead them forth to pasture in the morning.

மேலும், மிக்க கஷ்டத்துடனின்றி சென்றடைய முடியாத அத்தகைய ஊர்களுக்கு அவை உங்களுடைய பளுவான சுமைகளையும் சுமந்து செல்கின்றன, நிச்சயமாக உங்கள் இரட்சகன் (உங்கள் மீது) மிக்க இரக்கமுள்ளவன், மிகக் கிருபையுடையவன்.

And they carry your loads to a land that you could not reach except with great trouble to yourselves. Truly, your Lord is full of Kindness, Most Merciful.

இன்னும் குதிரைகளையும், கோவேறு கழுதைகளையும், கழுதைகளையும்-அவற்றில் நீங்கள் ஏறிச்செல்வதற்காகவும், (உங்களுக்கு) அலங்காரமாகவும் (அவனே படைத்துள்ளான்) இன்னும் நீங்கள் அறியாதவற்றையும் அவன் படைக்கின்றான்.

And (He has created) horses, mules and donkeys, for you to ride and as an adornment. And He creates (other) things of which you have no knowledge.

(கோணலில்லாத) நேரான வழியைத்தெளிவு செய்வது அல்லாஹ்வின் மீதே இருக்கிறது, அதில் கோணல் வழியும் உண்டு, இன்னும் அவன் நாடினால், உங்கள் அனைவரையும், நேர் வழியில் செலுத்திவிடுவான்.

And upon Allâh is the responsibility to explain the Straight Path¹. But there are ways that turn aside (such as Paganism, Judaism and Christianity). And had He willed, He would have guided you all (mankind).

1. i.e. Islâmic Monotheism for mankind i.e. to show them legal and illegal, good and evil things; so whosoever accepts the guidance, it will be for his own benefit and whosoever goes astray, it will be for his own destruction.

அவன் எத்தகையவனென்றால், வானத்திலிருந்து நீரை உங்களுக்கு இறக்கிவைத்தான், அதிலிருந்து குடிப்பும் உங்களுக்குண்டு, அதிலிருந்து (வளர்ந்த) மரங்களும் உங்களுக்குண்டு, அதில் (உங்கள் கால் நடைகளை) நீங்கள் மேய்க்கிறீர்கள்.

He it is Who sends down water (rain) from the sky; from it you drink and from it (grows) the vegetation on which you send your cattle to pasture.

அதனைக்கொண்டே (விவசாயப்) பயிர்களையும், ஜைத்தூன், பேரீச்சை திராட்சைகளையும், இன்னும், பலவகைக் கனிகளிலிருந்தும் அவன் உங்களுக்காக முளைப்பிக்கச் செய்கிறான், நிச்சயமாக இதில் சிந்திக்கக்கூடிய கூட்டத்தார்க்கு ஓர் அத்தாட்சி இருக்கின்றது.

With it He causes to grow for you the crops, the olives, the date-palms, the grapes, and every kind of fruit. Verily! In this is indeed an evident proof and a manifest sign for people who give thought.

இன்னும், அவன் இரவையும், பகலையும், சூரியனையும், சந்திரனையும் உங்களுக்கு வசப்படுத்தித் தந்துள்ளான், (அவ்வாறே) நட்சத்திரங்களும் அவனுடைய கட்டளைப்படியே வசப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன, நிச்சயமாக இதிலும் நினைவு கூறக்கூடிய கூட்டத்தார்க்கு தகுந்த) அத்தாட்சிகள் இருக்கின்றன.

And He has subjected to you the night and the day, and the sun and the moon; and the stars are subjected by His Command. Surely, in this are proofs for people who understand.

பூமியில் உங்களுக்காக அவன் படைத்தவற்றையும், அதன் நிறங்கள் மாறுபட்டவைகளாக இருக்க (அவனே அவற்றை உங்களுக்கு வசப்படுத்தித் தந்துள்ளான்.) நிச்சயமாக அதில் படிப்பினை பெறும் சமூகத்தார்க்கு அத்தாட்சியிருக்கிறது.

And whatsoever He has created for you on the earth of varying colours [and qualities from vegetation and fruits (botanical life) and from animals (zoological life)] Verily! In this is a sign for people who remember.

இன்னும், அவன் எத்தகையவனென்றால், கடலை – அதிலிருந்து நீங்கள் புதிய இறைச்சியை (மீன் போன்றவற்றை) உண்ணுவதற்காகவும், இன்னும், எதை நீங்கள் அணிகின்றீர்களோ அத்தகைய ஆபரணத்தை அதிலிருந்து நீங்கள் வெளிப்படுத்துவதற்காகவும் வசப்படுத்திக் கொடுத்துள்ளான், இன்னும், தண்ணீரைக் கிழித்துக் கொண்டு அதில் செல்பவைகளாக கப்பல்களை நீர் காண்பீர், மேலும், அவனது பேரருளை நீங்கள் தேடிக் கொள்வதற்காகவும் நீங்கள் நன்றி செலுத்துவதற்காகவும் (இவ்வாறு கடலை அவனே உங்களுக்கு வசப்படுத்திக் கொடுத்துள்ளான்.) இதிலும் நினைவு கூறக்கூடிய கூட்டத்தார்க்கு) தகுந்த அத்தாட்சிகள் இருக்கின்றன.

And He it is Who has subjected the sea (to you), that you eat thereof fresh tender meat (i.e. fish), and that you bring forth out of it ornaments to wear. And you see the ships ploughing through it, that you may seek (thus) of His Bounty (by transporting the goods from place to place) and that you may be grateful.

பூமியின் மீது – அது உங்களைக்கொண்டு அசையாதிருப்பதற்காகப் (பெரிய) பெரிய மலைகளை உறுதியாக அவன் அமைத்தான்! (உங்கள் போக்குவரத்துக்கு சரியான வழியை) நீங்கள் அறிவதற்குப் (பல) பாதைகளையும் ஆறுகளையும் (அமைத்தான்.)

And He has affixed into the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you; and rivers and roads, that you may guide yourselves.

இன்னும், (வழிகாட்டும்) பல அடையாளங்களையும் (அவன் அமைத்துள்ளான்.) நட்சத்திரங்களைக் கொண்டும் (பிரயாணிகளாகிய) அவர்கள் (தங்கள்) வழியை அறிந்து கொள்கின்றனர்.

And landmarks (signposts during the day) and by the stars (during the night), they (mankind) guide themselves.

எவன் படைக்கின்றானோ (அவன் எதையுமே) படைக்காத ஒருவனைப் போன்றவனா? நீங்கள் (இதை) சிந்திக்க மாட்டீர்களா?

Is then He, Who creates as one who creates not? Will you not then remember?

மேலும், அல்லாஹ்வின் அருட்கொடையை நீங்கள் எண்ணுவீர்களாயின் அதனை நீங்கள் கணக்கிட்டு எண்ணி வரையறுத்துவிட மாட்டீர்கள், நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் மிக்க மன்னிக்கிறவன், மிகக் கிருபையுடையோன்.

And if you would count the favours of Allâh, never could you be able to count them. Truly! Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

நீங்கள் மறைத்து வைத்திருப்பதையும், நீங்கள் பகிரங்கப்படுத்துவதையும் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் நன்கு அறிவான்.

And Allâh knows what you conceal and what you reveal.

மேலும், அல்லாஹ்வையன்றி, அவர்கள் அழைக்கிறார்களே அத்தகையோர்-அவர்கள் எந்தப்பொருளையும் படைக்க மாட்டார்கள், அவர்களோ (அவனால்) படைக்கப்படுபவர்களாவர்.

Those whom they (Al-Mushrikûn¹) invoke besides Allâh have not created anything, but are themselves created.

1. Al-Mushrikûn: i.e. polytheists, pagans, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh, those who worship others along with Allâh, and also those who set up rivals with (or partners to) Allâh.

(அன்றி அவர்கள்) இறந்தவர்களே – உயிருள்ளவர்களல்லர், அவர்கள் எப்பொழுது (உயிர் கொடுத்து) எழுப்பப்படுவார்கள் என்பதையும் அவர்கள் அறியமாட்டர்கள்.

(They are) dead, not alive; and they know not when they will be raised up.

உங்களுடைய (வணக்கத்திற்குரிய) நாயன் ஒரே நாயன்தான், ஆகவே மறுமையை நம்பவில்லையே அத்தகையோர்-அவர்களுடைய இதயங்கள் (எதைக்கேட்டபோதிலும்) மறுப்பவைகளாகவே இருக்கின்றன, அவர்கள் பெருமையடித்துக் கொண்டவர்களாகவும் இருக்கின்றனர்.

Your Ilâh[2] (God) is One Ilâh (God - Allâh, none has the right to be worshipped but He). But for those who believe not in the Hereafter, their hearts deny (the faith in the Oneness of Allâh), and they are proud.[3]

நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் அவர்கள் மறைத்து வைத்திருப்பதையும், அவர்கள் பகிரங்கப்படுத்துவதையும் நன்கு அறிவான் என்பதில் சந்தேகமில்லை, நிச்சயமாக அவன் பெருமையடித்துக்கொண்ட (இ)வர்களை நேசிப்பதில்லை.

Certainly, Allâh knows what they conceal and what they reveal. Truly, He likes not the proud.

இன்னும், (குர்ஆனைக் குறிப்பிட்டு அதில்) “உங்களுடைய இரட்சகன் எதை இறக்கி வைத்தான்” என்று அவர்களிடம் கேட்கப்பட்டால், “(இது) முன்னுள்ளோரின் கட்டுக்கதைகள்” என்று அவர்கள் (பதில்) கூறுகின்றனர்.

And when it is said to them: "What is it that your Lord has sent down (unto Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم)?" They say: "Tales of the men of old!"

மறுமை நாளில் தங்கள் பாவச் சுமைகளை இவர்கள் பூரணமாகச் சுமப்பதற்காக மற்றும் அறிவின்றி இவர்கள் வழிகெடுத்த மற்றவர்களின் பாவச்சுமைகளை இவர்களே சுமப்பதற்காக வேண்டி (இவ்வாறு கூறுகிறார்கள். இருவரின் பாவச்சுமைகளை) அவர்கள் சுமப்பது மிகக் கெட்டது என்பதைத் தெரிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.

They may bear their own burdens in full on the Day of Resurrection, and also of the burdens of those whom they misled without knowledge. Evil indeed is that which they shall bear!

இவர்களுக்கு முன்னிருந்தார்களே அவர்களும் நிச்சயமாகச் சூழ்ச்சி செய்து கொண்டிருந்தார்கள், ஆகவே, அல்லாஹ் அவர்களின் கட்டடத்தை அடித்தளங்களிலிருந்து அடியோடு பெயர்த்தெடுத்து விட்டான், (எனவே அக்கட்டடத்தின்) முகடு அவர்களுக்கு மேலிருந்து அவர்களின் மீது விழுந்துவிட்டது, இன்னும், அவர்கள் உணர்ந்து கொள்ளமுடியாத விதத்தில் வேதனை அவர்களை வந்தடைந்தது.

Those before them indeed plotted, but Allâh struck at the foundation of their building, and then the roof fell down upon them, from above them, and the torment overtook them from directions they did not perceive.

பின்னர், மறுமைநாளில் அவன் அவர்களை இழிவுபடுத்துவான், மேலும் “(விசுவாசிகளுடன்) நீங்கள் தர்க்கித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தீர்களே அத்தகைய என்னுடைய இணையாளர்கள் எங்கே? என்றும் கேட்பான், (அச்சமயம்)அறிவு கொடுக்கப்பட்டார்களே அத்தகையோர் “இன்றையத்தினம் இழிவும் வேதனையும் நிச்சயமாக நிராகரிப்போரின் மீதுதான்” என்று கூறுவார்கள்.

Then, on the Day of Resurrection, He will disgrace them and will say: "Where are My (so called) partners concerning whom you used to disagree and dispute (with the believers, by defying and disobeying Allâh)?" Those who have been given the knowledge (about the Torment of Allâh for the disbelievers) will say: "Verily! Disgrace and misery this Day are upon the disbelievers.

அவர்கள் எத்தகையோரென்றால், தமக்குத் தாமே அநியாயம் செய்துகொண்டவர்களாக இருக்கும் நிலையில் அவர்(களின் உயிர்)களை மலக்குகள் கைப்பற்றுவார்கள், அவர்கள் “நாங்கள் எவ்விதக் குற்றமும் செய்யவில்லை” என்று கூறி மலக்குகளிடம் சமாதானத்தைக் கோருவார்கள், “அல்ல! நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் நீங்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தவற்றை நன்கறிந்தவன்” (என்று மலக்குகள் பதிலளிப்பார்கள்.)

"Those whose lives the angels take while they are doing wrong to themselves (by disbelief and by associating partners in worship with Allâh and by committing all kinds of crimes and evil deeds)." Then, they will make (false) submission (saying): "We used not to do any evil." (The angels will reply): "Yes! Truly, Allâh is All-Knower of what you used to do.

ஆகவே, “நரகத்தின்வாயில்களில்- அதில் நிரந்தரமாக (த்தங்கி) இருப்பவர்களாக நீங்கள் புகுந்துவிடுங்கள்” (என்று கூறுவார்கள்.) ஆகவே பெருமையடித்துக் கொண்டிருந்த (இ)வர்களின் ஒதுங்குமிடம் மகா கெட்டது.

"So enter the gates of Hell, to abide therein,¹ and indeed, what an evil abode will be for the arrogant."

மேலும், பயபக்தியுடையவர்களிடம், உங்கள் இரட்சகன் எதை இறக்கி வைத்தான் என்று கேட்கப்பட்டது, (அப்போது) அவர்கள், “நன்மையையே (இறக்கி வைத்தான்)என்று கூறுவார்கள், இவ்வுலகில் அழகானவற்றைச் செய்தார்களே அத்தகையோருக்கு (இவ்வுலகிலும் அழகான) நன்மையுண்டு, (அவர்களுடைய) மறுமையின் வீடும் மிக்க மேலானதாக இருக்கும், இன்னும், பயபக்தியுடைவர்களின் வீடு திட்டமாக நல்லதாகிவிட்டது.

And (when) it is said to those who are the Muttaqûn (the pious - See V.2:2) "What is it that your Lord has sent down?" They say: "That which is good." For those who do good in this world, there is good, and the home of the Hereafter will be better. And excellent indeed will be the home (i.e. Paradise) of the Muttaqûn (the pious - See V.2:2).

நிலைத்திருக்கக்கூடிய சுவனபதிகளாகும், அவற்றில் அவர்கள் பிரவேசிப்பார்கள், அவற்றின்கீழ் ஆறுகள் ஓடிக் கொண்டிருக்கும், அவர்கள் விரும்பியவை அவற்றில் அவர்களுக்குண்டு, பயபக்தியுடையோருக்கு இவ்வாறே அல்லாஹ் நற்கூலி கொடுக்கின்றான்.

‘Adn (Eden) Paradise (Gardens of Eternity) which they will enter, under which rivers flow, they will have therein all that they wish. Thus Allâh rewards the Muttaqûn (the pious - See V.2:2).

அவர்கள் எத்தகையோறென்றால், (ஈமானுடன்) நல்லவர்களாக இருக்கும் நிலைமையில் மலக்குகள் அவர்களுடைய உயிர்களைக் கைப்பற்றுவார்கள், அவர்களிடம் “ஸலாமுன் அலைக்கும், உங்களுக்கு சாந்தி உண்டாவதாக! நீங்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருந்ததின் காரணமாக சுவனபதியில் பிரவேசியுங்கள்” என்று அவர்கள் கூறுவார்கள்.

Those whose lives the angels take while they are in a pious state (i.e. pure from all evil, and worshipping none but Allâh Alone) saying (to them): Salâmun ‘Alaikum (peace be on you) enter you Paradise, because of that (the good) which you used to do (in the world)."

(நிராகரிப்போர்களே! தங்கள் உயிரைக், கைப்பற்றுவதற்காக) அவர்களிடம் மலக்குகள் வருவதையோ அல்லது உமதிரட்சகனின் கட்டளை வருவதையோ தவிர, (வேறெதனையும்) அவர்கள் எதிர்பார்க்கின்றனரா? இவர்களுக்கு முன்னிருந்தவர்களும் இவ்வாறே செய்து கொண்டிருந்தனர், அல்லாஹ் அவர்களுக்கு அநியாயம் (எதுவும்) செய்யவில்லை, எனினும் அவர்கள் தமக்குத்தாமே அநியாயம் செய்பவர்களாக இருந்தார்கள்.

Do they (the disbelievers and polytheists) await but that the angels should come to them [to take away their souls (at death)], or there should come the command (i.e. the torment or the Day of Resurrection) of your Lord? Thus did those before them. And Allâh wronged them not, but they used to wrong themselves.

ஆகவே அவர்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருந்த தீமைகள் அவர்களை வந்தடைந்தன, மேலும், எதை அவர்கள் பரிகாசம் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தார்களோ அது அவர்களைச் சூழ்ந்து கொண்டது.

Then, the evil results of their deeds overtook them, and that at which they used to mock at surrounded them.

“அல்லாஹ் நாடியிருந்தால், நாங்களும், எங்கள் மூதாதையர்களும் அவனையன்றி மற்றெதையும் வணங்கி இருக்கவும் மாட்டோம், அவனுடைய கட்டளையின்றி எதனையும் (ஆகாதவையெனத்) தடுத்திருக்கவும் மாட்டோம்” என்று இணைவைத்துக் கொண்டிருந்தோர் கூறுகின்றனர், இவ்வாறே இவர்களுக்கு முன் இருந்தவர்களும் செய்தார்கள், (நம் தூதைத்) தெளிவாக எத்திவைப்பதைத்தவிர வேறு எதுவும் நம் தூதர்களின் மீது உண்டா?

And those who joined others in worship with Allâh said: "If Allâh had so willed, neither we nor our fathers would have worshipped aught but Him, nor would we have forbidden anything without (Command from) Him." So did those before them. Then! Are the Messengers charged with anything but to convey clearly the Message?

ஓவ்வொரு சமூகத்திலும் திட்டமாக நாம் ஒரு தூதரை அனுப்பியிருக்கிறோம், (அத்தூதர் அச்சமூகத்தவரிடம்) அல்லாஹ்வையே வணங்குங்கள், (அல்லாஹ் அல்லாத வணங்கப்படும் ஷைத்தான்களாகிய அனைத்து) தாகூத்திலிருந்தும் நீங்கள் விலகிக் கொள்ளுங்கள் (என்று கூறினார்கள்.) ஆகவே, அவர்களில் அல்லாஹ் நேர்வழியில் செலுத்தியவர்களும் இருக்கிறார்கள், இன்னும் எவர்மீது வழிகேடு விதியாகிவிட்டதோ அவரும் அவர்களில் இருக்கிறார்கள், ஆகவே நீங்கள் பூமியில் சுற்றித்திரிந்து (அத்தூதர்களைப்) பொய்யாக்கியவர்களின் முடிவு எப்படி இருந்தது என்பதை) கவனித்து)ப் பாருங்கள்.

And verily, We have sent among every Ummah (community, nation) a Messenger (proclaiming): "Worship Allâh (Alone), and avoid (or keep away from) Tâghût¹ (all false deities i.e. do not worship Tâghût besides Allâh)." Then of them were some whom Allâh guided and of them were some upon whom the straying was justified. So travel through the land and see what was the end of those who denied (the truth).

(நபியே!) அவர்கள் நேர் வழிபெறுவதின் மீது நீர் (எவ்வளவுதான்) பேராசை கொண்டாலும் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் அவன் வழிதவறச் செய்தவரை நேர் வழியில் செலுத்தமாட்டான், இன்னும், அவர்களுக்கு உதவி செய்பவர்கள் (எவரும்) இல்லை.

If you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم) covet for their guidance,¹ then verily Allâh guides not those whom He makes to go astray (or none can guide him whom Allâh sends astray). And they will have no helpers.

1. Narrated Abû Hurairah رضي الله عنه: I heard Allâh’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم saying, "My example and the example of the people is that of a man who made a fire, and when it lighted what was around it, moths and other insects started falling into the fire.… Show more

   Narrated Abû Hurairah رضي الله عنه: I heard Allâh’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم saying, "My example and the example of the people is that of a man who made a fire, and when it lighted what was around it, moths and other insects started falling into the fire. The man tried (his best) to prevent them, (from falling in the fire) but they overpowered him and rushed into the fire." The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم added; "Now, similarly, I take hold of the knots at your waist (belts) to prevent you from falling into the fire, but you insist on falling into it."* (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol.8, Hadith No.490).

   * The fire symbolizes the unlawful deeds which the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم warned the people of.

(நபியே!) இறந்தவர்களை அல்லாஹ் உயிர்கொடுத்து) எழுப்ப மாட்டான் என்று அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது (நிராகரிப்போரான) அவர்கள் மிக்க உறுதியான சத்தியமாக சத்தியம் செய்கின்றனர், அவ்வாறன்று! இறந்தவர்களை உயிர்கொடுத்து எழுப்புவான் என்ற) அவனின் வாக்கு முற்றிலும் உண்மையானதே! எனினும் மனிதர்களில் பெரும்பாலோர் (இதனை) அறிந்து கொள்ளமாட்டார்கள்.

And they swear by Allâh their strongest oaths, that Allâh will not raise up him who dies. Yes, (He will raise them up), - a promise (binding) upon Him in truth, but most of mankind know not.

(உலகில்) எ(வ்விஷய)த்தில் அவர்கள் கருத்து வேறுபாடு கொண்டிருந்தார்களோ அதனை அவர்களுக்கு அவன் தெளிவு செய்வதற்காகவும், நிராகரித்தோர் நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் பொய்யர்களாகவே இருந்தார்கள் என்பதை அறிந்து கொள்வதற்காகவும் (அவர்களை அவன் உயிர்கொடுத்து எழுப்புவான்)

In order that He may make manifest to them the truth of that wherein they differ, and that those who disbelieved (in Resurrection, and in the Oneness of Allâh) may know that they were liars.

ஏதேனும் ஒரு பொருளுக்கு-அதை (உண்டு பண்ண) நாம் நாடினால், நமது கூற்றெல்லாம் “ஆகுக” என்று அதற்கு நாம் கூறுவதுதான், (உடனே) அது ஆகிவிடும்.

Verily! Our Word unto a thing when We intend it, is only that We say unto it: "Be!" - and it is.¹
