(வேஷதாரிகளாகிய) இத்தகையோர் - உங்களைப்பற்றி எதிர்பார்த்த வண்ணம் இருக்கின்றனர், அல்லாஹ்வின் உதவியினால் உங்களுக்கு வெற்றி கிடைத்தால், நாங்களும் உங்களுடன் இருக்கவில்லையா? என்று கூறுகின்றனர், நிராகரிப்போருக்கு பங்கேதும் கிடைத்துவிட்டால் “நாங்கள் உங்களை வெற்றி கொள்ளக் கூடிய நிலையிலிருந்தும், விசுவாசங் கொண்ட அவர்களிடமிருந்து நாங்கள் உங்களைத் தடுக்கவில்லையா?” என்று கூறுகின்றனர், ஆகவே, உங்களுக்கிடையில் அல்லாஹ் மறுமைநாளில் தீர்ப்பளிப்பான், இன்னும், விசுவாசிகளுக்கு எதிராக அந்நிராகரிப்பவர்களுக்கு அல்லாஹ் யாதொரு வழியையும் ஆக்கவே மாட்டான்.

Those (hypocrites) who wait and watch about you; if you gain a victory from Allâh, they say: "Were we not with you?" But if the disbelievers gain a success, they say (to them): "Did we not gain mastery over you and did we not protect you from the believers?" Allâh will judge between you (all) on the Day of Resurrection. And never will Allâh grant to the disbelievers a way (to triumph) over the believers.

நிச்சயமாக (வேஷதாரிகளான) முனாஃபிக்குகள் அல்லாஹ்வை வஞ்சிக்க கருதுகின்றனர், இன்னும், அவனோ அவர்களை வஞ்சிக்க்ககூடியவனாக இருக்கின்றான், இன்னும், அவர்கள் தொழுகைக்காகத் தயாரானால் சோம்பேறிகளாகவே நிற்கிறார்கள், மனிதர்களுக்குக் காண்பிக்(க விரும்பு)கின்றார்கள், இன்னும், அவர்கள் வெகு சொற்பமாகத் தவிர அல்லாஹ்வை நினைவு கூர்வதில்லை.

Verily, the hypocrites seek to deceive Allâh, but it is He Who deceives them.¹ And when they stand up for As-Salât (the prayer), they stand with laziness and to be seen of men, and they do not remember Allâh but little.

அ(ந்த முனாஃபிக்குகள் இறை நிராகரிப்பு, விசுவாசம் ஆகிய)வற்றிற்கு மத்தியில் தத்தளித்தவர்களாக இருக்கின்றனர். (இவர்கள் மூமின்களாகிய) அவர்களுடனுமில்லை; (காஃபிர்களாகிய) இவர்களுடனுமில்லை. இன்னும் அல்லாஹ் எவரை வழிதவறவிட்டுவிடுகிறானோ அவருக்கு(நபியே!) நீர் யாதொரு வழியைக் காணவேமாட்டீர்

(They are) swaying between this and that, belonging neither to these nor to those; and he whom Allâh sends astray, you will not find for him a way (to the truth - Islâm).

விசுவாசங்கொண்டோரே! நீங்கள் விசுவாசிகளையல்லாமல், நிராகரிப்போரை உற்ற நண்பர்களாக எடுத்துக் கொள்ளாதீர்கள், (இதன் மூலம் உங்களுக்கெதிராக அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு ஒரு தெளிவான சான்றை ஏற்படுத்திவிட நீங்கள் நாடுகின்றீர்களா?

O you who believe! Take not for Auliyâ’ (protectors or helpers or friends) disbelievers instead of believers. Do you wish to offer Allâh a manifest proof against yourselves?

நிச்சயமாக (இவ்வேஷதாரிகளாகிய) முனாஃபிக்குகள் நரகத்தின் மிகவும் கீழான அடித்தளத்தில் இருப்பார்கள், இன்னும் (அங்கு) அவர்களுக்கு உதவியாளரை நீர் காணவே மாட்டீர்.

Verily, the hypocrites will be in the lowest depth (grade) of the Fire; no helper will you find for them.¹

   a) Narrated ‘Abdullâh bin ‘Amr رضي الله عنهما: The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "Whoever has the following four (characteristics) will be a pure hypocrite and whoever has one of the following four characteristics will have one characteristic of hypocrisy unless and until he gives it up:

   Whenever he is entrusted, he betrays (proves dishonest).

   2. Whenever he speaks, he tells a lie.

   3. Whenever he makes a covenant, he proves treacherous.

   4. Whenever he quarrels, he behaves in a very imprudent, evil and insulting manner." (Sahih Al-Bukhâri, Vol.1, Hadîth No.33).

   c) Narrated Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه: The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, "The worst people before Allâh on the Day of Resurrection will be the double-faced people who appear to some people with one face and to other people with another face." (Sahih Al-Bukhâri, Vol.8, Hadith No.84).

(ஆனால் அவர்களில்) தங்கள் பாவத்திற்காகப் பச்சாதாபப்பட்டு (அதிலிருந்து விலகி தங்கள் செயல்களை) சீர்திருந்தி அல்லாஹ்வை (அவனுடைய வேதத்தை) உறுதியாகப் பிடித்துக்கொண்டு தங்கள் மார்க்கத்தை (-வணக்கத்தை) அல்லாஹ்வுக்காகக் கலப்பற்றதாக்கிக் கொள்கின்றார்களே அத்தகையோர் தவிர, அவர்கள் விசுவாசிகளுடன் (மறுமையில்) இருப்பார்கள், இத்தகைய விசுவாசிகளுக்கு அல்லாஹ் மகத்தான (நற்)கூலியை வழங்குவான்.

Except those who repent (from hypocrisy), do righteous good deeds, hold fast to Allâh, and purify their religion for Allâh (by worshipping none but Allâh, and do good for Allâh’s sake only, not to show off), then they will be with the believers. And Allâh will grant the believers a great reward.

நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்திக்கொண்டும் (அவனை) விசுவாசம் கொண்டுமிருப்பின் உங்களை வேதனை செய்து அவன் என்ன செய்யப்போகிறான்? இன்னும் அல்லாஹ்வோ நன்றி பாராட்டுகிறவனாக, யாவையும் நன்கறிந்தவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.

Why should Allâh punish you if you have thanked (Him) and have believed in Him. And Allâh is Ever All-Appreciative (of good), All-Knowing.
