51. Adh-Dhariyat

‘ஆது’ வி(ன் சமூகத்தார்களி)லும்-(ஓர் அத்தாட்சி உண்டு) அவர்கள் மீது, நாம் (நாசகரமான) மலட்டுக் காற்றை அனுப்பிய சமயத்தில்,

And in ‘Âd (there is also a sign) when We sent against them the barren wind;

எப்பொருளிலிருந்தும் அதன்மீது அ(க்காற்றன)து (கடந்து) வந்து, அதை மக்கிப் போனதைப் போன்று ஆக்கியே தவிர அது விட்டு வைக்கவில்லை.

It spared nothing that it reached, but blew it into broken spreads of rotten ruins.

‘ஸமூது’ வி(ன் கூட்டத்தாரி)லும் (ஓர் அத்தாட்சியுண்டு) “நீங்கள் ஒரு காலம் வரையில் சுகம் அனுபவியுங்கள்” என்று அவர்களுக்குக் கூறப்பட்டபோது,

And in Thamûd (there is also a sign), when they were told: "Enjoy yourselves for a while!"

தங்கள் இரட்சகனின் கட்டளையை அவர்கள் மீறினார்கள், ஆகவே, அவர்கள் பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருக்கும் பொழுதே, பயங்கரமான பெரும் சப்தம் அவர்களைப் பிடித்துக்கொண்டது.

But they insolently defied the Command of their Lord, so the Sâ‘iqah¹ overtook them while they were looking.

1. Sâ‘iqah: A destructive awful cry, torment, hit, a thunderbolt, See (V.41:13).

ஆகவே, அவர்கள் நிற்கவும் சக்திபெறவில்லை, (நம்முடைய வேதனையிலிருந்து தப்பிக்க எவரிடமிருந்தும்) உதவி பெறுபவர்களாகவும் அவர்கள் இருக்கவில்லை.

Then they were unable to rise up, nor could they help themselves.

(இவர்கள் அனைவருக்கும்) முன்னர் நூஹுடைய சமூகத்தாரையும் (நாம் அழித்துவிட்டோம்) நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள், பாவம் செய்யும் சமூகத்தாராகவே இருந்தனர்.

(So were) the people of Nûh (Noah) before them. Verily, they were a people who were Fâsiqûn (rebellious, disobedient to Allâh).

மேலும், வானத்தை (எவருடைய உதவியுமின்றி) நம்முடைய சக்தியைக் கொண்டே அதை நாம் அமைத்தோம், நிச்சயமாக நாம் (படைக்கின்ற காரியத்தில்) மிக்க விசாலத்தை உடையோராக இருக்கிறோம் (யாவும் நம் சக்திக்குட்பட்டதே).

With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof.

அன்றியும், பூமியை-அதனை நாம் (விசாலமாக) விரித்தோம், (அதனைச் சீர்படுத்தி செவ்வையாக்கி) விரிப்போரில் (நாம்) நல்லோராவோம்.

And We have spread out the earth: how Excellent Spreader (thereof) are We!

நீங்கள் நல்லுணர்ச்சி பெறுவதற்காக ஒவ்வொரு பொருளிலிருந்தும் (ஆண், பெண் கொண்ட) இருவகையை நாம் படைத்திருக்கின்றோம்.

And of everything We have created pairs, that you may remember (the Grace of Allâh).

ஆகவே, “(நிராகரிப்பு, பாவம் ஆகியவற்றிலிருந்து விலகி), அல்லாஹ்வின் பக்கம் நீங்கள் விரைந்து செல்லுங்கள், நிச்சயமாக நான், அவனிடமிருந்து உங்களுக்குக் தெளிவாக அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிக்கை செய்பவ(னாக இருக்கிறே)ன்,

So flee to Allâh (from His Torment to His Mercy - Islâmic Monotheism). Verily, I (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) am a plain warner to you from Him.¹

மேலும், அல்லாஹ்வுடன் வேறொரு (வணக்கத்திற்குரிய) நாயனை ஆக்காதீர்கள், நிச்சயமாக நான், அவனிடமிருந்து உங்களுக்கு தெளிவாக அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிக்கை செய்பவன் (என்று நபியே! நீர் கூறுவீராக!).

And set not up (or worship not) any other ilâh (god) along with Allâh [Glorified be He (Alone), Exalted above all that they associate as partners with Him]. Verily, I (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) am a plain warner to you from Him.

இவ்வாறே அவர்களுக்கு முன்னிருந்தார்களே அவர்களுக்கு எந்த தூதரும் வந்ததில்லை, (அவர்களிடம் வந்த அத்தூதரை) சூனியக்காரர் அல்லது பைத்தியக்காரர் என்று அவர்கள் கூறியே தவிர

Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!"

இவ்வாறு (கூறுமாறே) அவர்கள் (தங்களுக்குள் பரம்பரையாக) ஒருவருக்கொருவர் உபதேசம் செய்து வந்தனரா? இல்லை! அவர்கள் (இயற்கையிலேயே) அட்டூழியம் செய்யும் கூட்டத்தாராவர்.

Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)!

ஆகவே, (நபியே!) நீர் அவர்களைப் புறக்கணித்து விடுவீராக! (அதற்காக) நீர் நிந்திக்கபடுபவரல்லர்.

So turn away (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) from them (Quraish pagans), you are not blame-worthy (as you have conveyed Allâh’s Message).

மேலும் (நபியே!) நீர் நல்லுபதேசம் செய்வீராக! ஏனென்றால் நிச்சயமாக நல்லுபதேசம் விசுவாசிகளுக்குப் பயனளிக்கும்.

And remind (by preaching the Qur’ân, O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), for verily, the reminding profits the believers.

மேலும், ஜின்களையும், மனிதர்களையும் என்னை அவர்கள் வணங்குவதற்காகவே தவிர நான் படைக்கவில்லை.

And I (Allâh) created not the jinn and mankind except that they should worship Me (Alone).

அவர்களிடத்தில் (என் படைப்புகளுக்காக) நான் யாதொரு உணவையும் நாடவில்லை, அன்றியும், எனக்கு அவர்கள் உணவளிப்பதையும் நான் நாடவில்லை.

I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures).

(நபியே! நீர் கூறுவீராக:) “நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்-அவன்தான் (யாவருக்கும்) மிக்க உணவளிப்பவன், பலமுடையவன், உறுதியானவன்.”

Verily, Allâh is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong.

எனவே, நிச்சயமாக அநியாயம் செய்து விட்டார்களே, அவர்களுக்கு (முன் வாழ்ந்த) அவர்களுடைய சிநேகிதர்களுக்கிருந்த பங்கைப்போன்று (வேதனையில்) பங்குண்டு ஆகவே, அவர்கள் (தண்டனைக்காக என்னிடம்) அவசரப்படவேண்டாம்.

And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old); so let them not ask Me to hasten on!

ஆகையால், நிராகரித்தோருக்கு- அவர்கள் வாக்களிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்களே அத்தகைய அவர்களுடைய நாளில் கேடுதான்.

Then woe to those who disbelieve (in Allâh and His Oneness - Islâmic Monotheism) from their Day which they have been promised (for their punishment).¹

He will say, ‘Yes.’ Then Allâh will say, ‘While you were in the backbone of Adam, I asked you much less than this, (i.e., not to worship others besides Me), but you insisted on worshipping others besides me.’" (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol. 4, Hadith No.551).
