42. Ash-Shuraa

இன்னும், எவர், தமக்கு அக்கிரமம் இழைக்கப்பட்ட பின் (அதே அளவு பழி தீர்த்துக் கொள்வதற்கு) உதவி பெற்றுகொண்டோரோ- அத்தகையோர் அவர்களின் மீது (குற்றம் சுமத்த) யாதொரு வழியும் இல்லை.

And indeed whosoever takes revenge after he has suffered wrong, for such there is no way (of blame) against them.

(குற்றம் சுமத்த) வழி ஏற்படுவதெல்லாம் மனிதர்களுக்கு அநியாயம் செய்து நியாயமின்றி பூமியில் கொடுமை செய்கிறார்களே, அவர்கள் மீது தான், அத்தகையோர்- அவர்களுக்கு மிகத்துன்புறுத்தும் வேதனையுண்டு.

The way (of blame) is only against those who oppress men and rebel in the earth without justification; for such there will be a painful torment.

மேலும், எவரொருவர் (பிறரால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட பின்) பொறுத்துக் கொண்டு, மன்னித்தும்விட்டால், நிச்சயமாக காரியங்களில் மிக்க உறுதியானதாகும்.

And verily, whosoever shows patience and forgives, that would truly be from the things recommended by Allâh.

இன்னும் எவரை அல்லாஹ் தவறான வழியில் விட்டுவிடுகிறானோ அதற்குப் பின்னர், அவருக்குப் பாதுகாவலர் எவருமில்லை, மேலும், (நபியே! வரம்பு மீறி) அநியாயம் செய்தவர்கள், வேதனையைக் கண்டுவிட்ட சமயத்தில், “(அங்கிருந்து) திரும்பிச் செல்ல ஏதாகிலும் வழியுண்டா?” என்று அவர்கள் கூறுவதை நீர் காண்பீர்.

And whomsoever Allâh sends astray, for him there is no Walî (protector, helper, guardian) after Him. And you will see the Zâlimûn (polytheists, wrong-doers, oppressors): when they behold the torment, they will say: "Is there any way of return (to the world)?"

இன்னும், சிறுமையினால் (தலை தாழ்த்திப்) பணிந்தவர்களாக மறைவாகக் கடைக் கண்ணால் நோட்டமிட்டவர்களாக (நரகமாகிய) அதன் மீது அவர்கள் எடுத்துக்காட்டப்படுபவர்களாக அவர்களை (நபியே! நீர்) காண்பீர்; இன்னும், விசுவாசங்கொண்டோர், “நிச்சயமாக நஷ்டமடைந்தவர்கள், மறுமை நாளில் தங்களுக்கும், தம் குடும்பத்தினருக்கும் நஷ்டத்தை தேடிக் கொண்டவர்கள்தான்” என்று (அப்போது) கூறுவார்கள், நிச்சயமாக (இத்தகைய) அநியாயக்காரர்கள் நிலையான வேதனையில் இருப்பார்கள் என்பதை அறிந்து கொள்வீராக!

And you will see them brought forward to it (Hell) made humble by disgrace,¹ (and) looking with stealthy glance. And those who believe will say: "Verily, the losers are they who lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. Verily, the Zâlimûn [i.e. Al-Kâfirûn (disbelievers in Allâh, in His Oneness and in His Messenger صلى الله عليه و سلم, polytheists, wrong-doers)] will be in a lasting torment. (Tafsir At-Tabari).

   Narrated Anas bin Mâlik رضي الله عنه: A man said, "O Allah’s Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم)! Will Allah gather a disbeliever prone on his face on the Day of Resurrection?" He صلى الله عليه وسلم said, "Will not the One Who made him walk on his feet in this world, be able to make him walk on his face on the Day of Resurrection?" (Qatâdah, a subnarrator, said : "Yes, by the Power of Our Lord!") (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol.6, Hadîth No.283).

(அந்நாளில்) அல்லாஹ்வையன்றி அவர்களுக்கு உதவிசெய்கின்ற பாதுகாவலர்கள் அவர்களுக்கு இருக்கவுமாட்டர்கள், இன்னும், எவரை அல்லாஹ் வழிகேட்டில் விட்டு விட்டானோ, அவருக்கு (அதிலிருந்து விடுபட) யாதொரு வழியுமில்லை.

And they will have no Auliyâ’ (protectors, helpers, guardians, lords) to help them other than Allâh. And he whom Allâh sends astray, for him there is no way.

அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்து மற்றெவராலும் தடுக்கமுடியாத (கியாம) நாள் வருவதற்கு முன்னதாகவே உங்கள் இரட்சகனுக்குப் பதிலளியுங்கள், அந்நாளில் உங்களுக்கு யாதொரு ஒதுங்குமிடமும் இராது, (உங்கள் பாவங்களை) நீங்கள் மறுப்பதும் உங்களுக்கில்லை.

Answer the Call of your Lord (i.e. accept the Islâmic Monotheism, O mankind, and jinn) before there comes from Allâh a Day which cannot be averted (i.e. the Day of Resurrection). You will have no refuge on that Day nor there will be for you any denying (of your crimes as they are all recorded in the Book of your deeds).

ஆகவே, (நபியே!) அவர்கள் புறக்கணித்துவிட்டால் (நீர் கவலையுறாதீர், ஏனென்றால்,) அவர்களைப் பாதுகப்போராக நாம் உம்மை அனுப்பவில்லை, (நம் தூதை) எத்தி வைப்பதைத் தவிர (வேறெதுவும்) உம்மீதில்லை, இன்னும், நிச்சயமாக நாம் நம்மிடமிருந்து அருளை மனிதனுக்கு நாம் சுவைக்கச் செய்தால், அதனைக்கொண்டு அவன் மகிழ்ச்சி அடைகிறான், அவர்களுடைய கரங்கள் முற்படுத்திய (பாவத்தின் காரணத்)தால், அவர்களைத் தீங்கு பிடித்தால், நிச்சயமாக மனிதன் (நன்றி கெட்டவனாகி அல்லாஹ்வையே) நிராகரிப்பவனாக இருக்கிறான்.

But if they turn away (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم from the Islâmic Monotheism, which you have brought to them). We have not sent you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم) as a Hafîz (watcher, protector) over them (i.e. to take care of their deeds and to recompense them). Your duty is to convey (the Message). And verily, when We cause man to taste of Mercy from Us, he rejoices thereat; but when some ill befalls them because of the deeds which their hands have sent forth, then verily, man (becomes) ingrate!

வானங்கள் மற்றும் பூமியின் ஆட்சி அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே உரியதாகும், அவன் நாடியவற்றை அவன் படைக்கிறான், (ஆகவே) அவன் நாடியவர்களுக்குப் பெண் மக்களை அன்பளிப்புச் செய்கிறான், அவன் நாடியவர்களுக்கு ஆண் மக்களை அன்பளிப்புச் செய்கிறான்.

To Allâh belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. He creates what He wills. He bestows female (offspring) upon whom He wills, and bestows male (offspring) upon whom He wills.

அல்லது, ஆண்மக்களையும், பெண்மக்களையும் கலந்தே கொடுக்கின்றான், அன்றியும், அவன் நாடியவர்களை மலடாகவும் ஆக்கி விடுகின்றான், நிச்சயமாக அவன் (யாவற்றையும்) நன்கறிந்தவன், (தான் விரும்பியதைச் செய்ய) மிக்க ஆற்றலுடையவன்.

Or He bestows both males and females, and He renders barren whom He wills. Verily, He is the All-Knower and is Able to do all things.

வஹீயின் மூலமோ, அல்லது திரைக்கு அப்பாலிருந்தோ, அல்லது ஒரு தூதரை அனுப்பியோ தவிர எந்த மனிதருக்கும் அல்லாஹ் அவருடன் பேசுவது (சாத்தியம்) இல்லை. (அத்தூதர்,) அவன் நாடியதை அவன் அனுமதி கொண்டு அவர் அறிவிப்பார், நிச்சயமாக அவன், மிக உயர்ந்தவன், தீர்க்கமான அறிவுடையவன்.

It is not given to any human being that Allâh should speak to him unless (it be) by Revelation, or from behind a veil, or (that) He sends a Messenger to reveal what He wills by His Leave. Verily, He is Most High, Most Wise.¹

(நபியே!) இவ்வாறே உமக்கு நம்முடைய கட்டளையின் (குர் ஆனாகிய) உயிரானதை வஹீ மூலமாக அறிவிக்கின்றோம், (இதற்கு முன்னர்) நீர் வேதம் என்றால் என்ன, இன்னும் விசுவாசம் என்றால் என்ன என்பதை அறிந்தவராக இருக்கவில்லை, ஆயினும், (இவ்வேதத்தை உமக்கு வஹீ மூலம் அறிவித்து) இதனைப் பிரகாசமாகவும் ஆக்கி, நம் அடியார்களில் நாடியவர்களுக்கு இதனைக்கொண்டு நாம் நேர் வழி செலுத்துகின்றோம், (நபியே!) நிச்சயமாக நீர், (மனிதர்களுக்கு) நேரான வழியின்பால் வழிகாட்டுவீர்.

And thus We have sent to you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم) Ruh (a Revelation, and a Mercy) of Our Command. You knew not what is the Book, nor what is Faith? But We have made it (this Qur’ân) a light wherewith We guide whosoever of Our slaves We will. And verily, you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم) are indeed guiding (mankind) to the Straight Path (i.e. Allâh’s Religion of Islâmic Monotheism).

(திட்டமாக இது தான்) அல்லாஹ்வுடைய வழி, அவன் எத்தகையவனென்றால் வானங்களில் இருப்பவையும் பூமியில் இருப்பவையும் அவனுக்கே உரியன; சகல காரியங்களும் அல்லாஹ்வின் பக்கமே சேரும் என்பதை (நபியே! நீர்) அறிந்து கொள்வீராக!

The Path of Allâh to Whom belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. Verily, all matters at the end go to Allâh (for decision).
