وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَـٰقَكُمْ لَا تَسْفِكُونَ دِمَآءَكُمْ وَلَا تُخْرِجُونَ أَنفُسَكُم مِّن دِيَـٰرِكُمْ ثُمَّ أَقْرَرْتُمْ وَأَنتُمْ تَشْهَدُونَ
இன்னும், “நீங்கள் (உங்களுக்கு மத்தியில்) உங்களுடைய இரத்தங்களைச் சிந்தாதீர்கள்; உங்கள் இல்லங்களை விட்டு உங்(களைச் சேர்ந்தவர்)களை வெளியேற்றாதீர்கள்” என்றும் உங்களிடம் நாம் உறுதிமொழி வாங்கியதையும் (நினைவுகூருங்கள்), பின்னர் நீங்களோ சாட்சியம் கூறியவர்களாக இருக்க (அதை) நீங்கள் உறுதிப்படுத்தியிருக்கிறீர்கள்.

And (remember) when We took your covenant (saying): Shed not the blood of your (people), nor turn out your own people from their dwellings. Then, (this) you ratified and (to this) you bear witness.
