87. Al-A'la

(நபியே!) மிக உயர்வானவனாகிய உமதிரட்சகனின் பெயரை நீர் (புகழ்ந்து) துதி செய்வீராக!

Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High,

அவன் எத்தகையவனென்றால், அவனே (படைப்பினங்களனைத்தையும்) படைத்து பிறகு (அவற்றைச்) செவ்வையாக்கினான்.

Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it.

இன்னும், அவன் எத்தகையவனென்றால், அவனே (அவற்றுக்கு வேண்டிய அனைத்தையும்) நிர்ணயம் செய்து பிறகு (அவற்றை அடைய) நேர்வழி காட்டினான்.

And Who has measured (preordainments for everything even to be blessed or wretched); and then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as the wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture).

இன்னும் அவன் எத்தகையவனென்றால், அவனே (கால்நடைகளுக்கு) மேய்ச்சலுக்குரியவற்றை வெளியாக்கினான்.

And Who brings out the pasturage,

பின்னர் அவைகளை உலர்ந்த கருத்த கூளங்களாக ஆக்கினான்.

And then makes it dark stubble.

(நபியே! நம் வசனங்களை) நாம் உம்மை ஓதிடச் செய்வோம்; பிறகு நீர் மறக்கமாட்டீர்.

We shall make you to recite (the Qur’ân), so you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) shall not forget (it),

அல்லாஹ் நாடியதைத் தவிர; நிச்சயமாக அவன் வெளிப்படையானதையும் மறைந்திருப்பதையும் நன்கறிவான்.

Except what Allâh may will. He knows what is apparent and what is hidden.

மேலும், (ஈருலக நன்மைகளைச் செய்ய) இலகுவானதன் பால் உமக்கு நாம் எளிதாக்குவோம்.

And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds).

ஆகவே, நல்லுபதேசம் (ஜனங்களுக்குப்) பயனளிக்குமாயின் நீர் (உபதேசித்து) நினைவுபடுத்துவீராக!

Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them).

(அல்லாஹ்வுக்குப்) பயப்படுகின்றவர் (இதனைக்கொண்டு) உபதேசத்தைப் பெறுவார்.

The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allâh),

மிகுந்த துர்பாக்கியமுடையவனோ, அதிலிருந்து விலகிக் கொள்வான்.

But it will be avoided by the wretched,

அவன் எத்தகையவனென்றால் (நரகத்தின்) பெரும் நெருப்பில் அவன் நுழைவான்.

Who will enter the great Fire (and will be made to taste its burning).

பின்னர், அதில் அவன் மரணிக்கவுமாட்டான், வாழவுமாட்டான்.

There he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living).

பரிசுத்தமடைந்தவர் நிச்சயமாக வெற்றி பெற்றுவிட்டார்.

Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islâmic Monotheism) shall achieve success,

மேலும், அவர் தன் இரட்சகனின் பெயரைக் கூறி பிறகு தொழுதார்.

And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allâh), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawâfil - additional prayers).

எனினும், நீங்களோ இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையைத் தெரிவு செய்து கொள்கின்றீர்கள்.

Nay, you prefer the life of this world,

மறுமையின் வாழ்க்கைதான் மிகச் சிறந்ததும், மிக்க நிலையானதுமாகும்.

Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting.

நிச்சயமாக இது முன்னுள்ள ஆகமங்களில் இருக்கிறது. (அதுவே)

Verily, this is in the former Scriptures -

இப்றாஹீம் மூஸாவுடைய ஆகமங்களிலும் இருக்கிறது.

The Scriptures of Ibrâhîm (Abraham) and Mûsâ (Moses) (عليهما السلام).
