يَتَجَرَّعُهُۥ وَلَا يَكَادُ يُسِيغُهُۥ وَيَأْتِيهِ ٱلْمَوْتُ مِن كُلِّ مَكَانٍ وَمَا هُوَ بِمَيِّتٍ ۖ وَمِن وَرَآئِهِۦ عَذَابٌ غَلِيظٌ
அதனை அவன் (சங்கடத்தோடு) சிறுகச் சிறுக விழுங்குவான், எனினும், அதை அவன் எளிதாக விழுங்க நெருங்க மாட்டான், ஒவ்வொரு திசையிலிருந்தும் மரணம் அவனுக்கு வந்துகொண்டுமிருக்கும், அவன் மரணிப்பவனுமல்லன், மேலும், அதற்கப்பால் கடினமான வேதனையுமுண்டு.

He will sip it unwillingly, and he will find a great difficulty to swallow it down his throat1; and death will come to him from every side, yet he will not die and in front of him, will be a great torment.
Narrated Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه: The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, "The width between the two shoulders of a Kâfir (disbeliever) will be equal to the distance covered by a fast rider in three days." (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol.8, Hadith No.559A)
