113. Al-Falaq

(நபியே! நீர் கூறுவீராக! வைகறையின் இரட்சகனிடம் நான் பாதுகாவல் தேடுகிறேன்.

Say: "I seek refuge with (Allâh), the Lord of the daybreak,

அவன் படைத்தவற்றின் தீங்கைவிட்டும்,

"From the evil of what He has created,

(இரவினுடைய) இருளின் தீங்கைவிட்டும் – அது பரவிவிடும்போது,

"And from the evil of the darkening (night) as it comes with its darkness; (or the moon as it sets or goes away),

மேலும், முடிச்சுகளில் (மந்திரித்து) ஊதும் பெண்களின் தீங்கைவிட்டும்,

"And from the evil of those who practise witchcraft when they blow in the knots,

பொறாமைக்காரனின் தீங்கைவிட்டும் -அவன் பொறாமை கொள்ளும்போது (நான் காவல் தேடுகிறேன்).

"And from the evil of the envier when he envies."
